Decades Flooring did an amazing job with our floor installation. I would like to leave this glowing review because it is well deserved. We were indecisive with the kind and type of Flooring we wanted and it took a long time for us to finally decide but Desiree and Jay were very patient. They offered suggestions based on our needs as we have kids and pets and high traffic areas. When we finally decided on the flooring we wanted the installation was quick. Jay did a great job and we were very happy with the results. The quality of the floor and the craftsmanship is superb. I appreciated the professionalism, process and clean up. I will say that we will be using them again and recommending to friends and family. read more

After some scheduling mishaps, got the job done beautifully. Can't even tell where the fixes were.

Five stars isn't enough, I'm so impressed with the quality of work and level of professionalism. I felt so comfortable with the reasonable pricing and never felt uncomfortable with any part of the process. I needed original hardwood repaired and replaced in a few places as well as new floors installed in a bathroom and bonus room. All completed in two days!!! I will only be working with this company in the future, if you are debating who you want to do your floors, look no further, you found the best. read more

This person listed herself as the owner and when I described the job up front as laying that manufactured click/lock type flooring, I was then quoted a price, owner right? This is when the "bait and switch" began.....a new estimate!.....double the quote and then some! GOOD LUCK! read more

Desiree and Jay were very professional throughout the entire process. Desiree was quick to respond on a Yelp question on a weekend! I was able to get a schedule for Jay to come to the house and do an on-site inspection the following day. We wanted floors that will match our living and dining room areas and Jay was able to find the EXACT flooring company that manufactured our floors. The work was done in one day (we thought it would take 2-3 days) so that exceeded our expectations. they did an exceptional job!!! We initially reached out to them on a weekend and they were able to schedule the work a week after!!! It was a fast and stress-free process. They also cleaned up very well. We love our new floors in our bedrooms and would hire/recommend Decades Flooring in a heartbeat! read more

This place deserves some very honest feedback, a solid 3 stars based on my experience. 2 of the 5 employees that worked on my project deserve 5 stars: Miguel and Desiree for being responsive and showing commitment to excellence in the project. The other 3 employees, including Jay, deserve 1 star due to a mix of poor craftsmanship, negligence, unresponsiveness, and the total inability to speak with them as they didn't speak English. 2 of their staff, who were initially assigned to my flooring project, spoke very little and broken English, so I couldn't communicate my concerns with them at all. They simply told me to talk to Jay, and Jay did nothing other than show up, look at the work they did poorly, and leave. I tried contacting Jay several times on the phone and over text and ultimately gave up as he completely ghosted me after the initial scheduling, and I decided to only talk to Miguel and Desiree, who were the only ones making a true effort to get the job done and done correctly. In the end my project did not come out perfectly either, but I appreciate the several attempts and visits Miguel made to correct the total blunder the first employees of theirs made (turning my whole staircase white instead of leaving it wood-colored, leaving paint on my handrails and on my artwork in the stairwell which I later noticed, and marking the walls in the stairwell with scuffs and epoxy material that should NOT have been left on my walls). Based on my experience, I would not use them again nor recommend them unless you are ONLY working with Miguel and Desiree. Otherwise, go anywhere else. read more

Thank you so much for fitting me in this week to put in flooring! Professional, clean, and on time! Easy to reach and great communication...already planning my next room with them. read more

I got a bid from this company and ended up not hiring them because they miss calculated the square footage needed by 100 ft.². It messed up my complete order and I had to cancel my order new flooring. You would think a flooring company would be able to get an accurate measurement on the amount of flooring needed. read more

I hired Decades Flooring to buff and recoat my sad engineered hardwood floors. The results exceeded my expectations. The floors look brand new! Desiree was always responsive, easy to work with. And Jay was so knowledgeable about how to resolve various issues. I'm very happy with my decision to hire Decades Flooring. They're on top of their game. I highly recommend them. read more

We had a great experience with Decades Flooring. They gave us a great estimate, and went over all the details with us. They showed us several samples for hardwood floors, and J was very patient while we decided which sample we wanted. Domingo and his assistants came to do the work and they were super friendly. Domingo is an expert at what he does and everything turned out beautiful. We are so grateful that we went with Decades Flooring. read more

I'm so proud to be the first reviewer for DECADES FLOORING! We had a wonderful experience all-around, from start to finish. I reached out via Yelp on a Saturday night to get some quotes for our wood floors to be redone in our living room and Decades was the first company to respond. Since we were in a time crunch I asked when the soonest was for someone to come out and give us an estimate. Desiree booked a visit the very next morning with Jay and passed along my cell to him and we immediately were in contact...which was so nice and helpful. Jay arrived on time the next morning, surveyed and measured the job and the next day I got a professional quote from Desiree with everything included in it. Since it was so clear and detailed we were able to add on other services and take off others we thought we may not need easily and each time we did this, Desiree would send out a new quote (no other company did this FYI -- sometimes professionalism is what really sets you apart from the beginning). Once we agreed to go with Decades, since their quote was as competitive as all the others we received, we were able to schedule our start date on Friday of that same week! Which was incredible. Jay completed the job in 4 days and was so respectful, kind, courteous and professional. He arrived on time every day and was mindful of cleaning up after each day, too. Since it was during COVID-19, he wore a mask the entire time he was working which we so appreciated. I know it was hot and it would've been easy to just remove it whenever he walked outside but he didn't. Jay was such a hard-worker too and consistently checked in with us to make sure the quality was at 100%, which it was. We couldn't be happier with the results and are so pleased with the entire process of redoing our floors. Thank you Jay so much for a job exceptionally well done. And thanks Desiree for being so on top of it with regards to invoices and being thorough, specific and always positive via every exchange. Would definitely hire Jay and DECADES FLOORING for further flooring jobs. Thanks a million, again! We love our new natural white oak floors and so appreciate you working with us on such short notice and always staying true to your word! We wish every company was as professional and responsive as you were with us. read more

Desiree and Jay are fantastic to work with, and they did an excellent job on our floors. Would highly recommend!

We had our wood floors restrained and concrete or plaster stairs broken down and transitioned into beautiful matching wood. Decades was professional and got the job done on time and within budget. read more

Jay and Desiree from Decades Flooring are responsive and super efficient with getting everything flooring related organized! I had parts of my floor that I had to refinish from some water damage and their crew quickly resolved the damage and left the floors looking brand new. I've been recommending Decades to all my friends and sincerely recommend them to anyone looking for any flooring needs! read more

Great company, and I'm very happy with my new floors. I had real wood hardwood floors installed and I had pre-selected my floors from a wholesale vendor. Desiree and Jay are great professionals to work with, I had been recommended to them by a friend that I highly trust so I knew I was in good hands. They took care of delivering my wood floors, and got me a better price, then installed, sanded and stained. They even came back several weeks later to apply the last coat of polyutherine as I had other construction going on at the same time, and Desiree was helpful in returning at another date. I had pre-paid for the full job and felt comfortable knowing that they are trustworthy people and would return. Times are changing, product costs and labor are increasing and small companies like this deserve the accolades. read more
