We hired OrzanizIT to redo our garage. Ehsan came out promptly to review our project and provide a quote on site. They were ready to install within a couple of weeks. They installed new lighting, a new access stair to the garage attic, patched and painted walls and ceiling, removed old epoxy floors and replaced them, and installed cabinets and hanging wall surface. We used Organizit to build a "hybrid, little bit of everything" garage that started out as a typical Westchester 2 car garage: open beams, concrete floor, random hooks and shelves mounted into the studs. What we wanted was a space that would organize our many different equipment pieces, tools, seasonal decoration items so that they could be used without wasting too much time looking for them AND we wanted a clean workout space. In order to get all of that Gus's team built an attic, rewired our electricity, drywalled the entire Garage, added a wall inside, epoxied the floor and built so many custom cabinets that we have more space left to fill. I've been a homeowner for more than fifteen years now, and I have worked with numerous contractors and companies. So, dealing with them isn't my first rodeo. I needed to renovate my garage. I met with five companies. Ehsan with OrganizIt! was the first person I met with (based on the numerous five-star reviews and their website, they seemed to have the garage renovation game down to a science). Ehsan met me in my garage, he listened to exactly what I wanted from the renovation, then he showed me exactly what OrganizIt! could do. He pulled out a laptop and showed me a 3D rendering right on the spot. He then emailed me a detailed schematic of the layout along with the quote. I was impressed, but my standard is to get five quotes, feel each person out, and then make a decision based on the most competitive price and my gut sense about the person/company. Ehsan set the bar high. The other quotes weren't as competitive as Ehsan's, and more importantly, I just didn't get the instinctual sense of "Yeah, I can trust these guys to do a perfect job." So, I went with OrganizIt!. Ehsan delivered on exactly what he promised, down to every single detail. I got exactly what I paid for, and I'm thrilled with the result. A lot impressed me with OrganizIt! from start to finish, and it started with Ehsan. During our initial conversations, I changed my mind a few times, had some additional work I wanted included, and in general, just had a lot of outreach to him. He was always quick with a reply, professional, and helpful. It was interesting, an issue I had with the other initial quotes I received was that each contractor wanted to impose their ideas. I knew exactly what I wanted, but each person pushed their own agenda. Not Ehsan. He simply listened, then showed me what the result would be and what the cost would be. Straightforward. After him, it was each team: Arman and Johnnie are real craftsmen. They did the demo and the framing; they worked hard and they did beautiful work. The painting team also did a fantastic job. The epoxy floor guys did a great job. Then Arman and Johnnie wrapped up the electric and installed the cabinets. Five-stars all around. It's important to share a great experience like this because I know that it can be hard to find a great, reliable, trustworthy and fair-priced contractor or company to do great work. But OrganizIt! delivers. I would say, even if their quote comes in slightly higher than others (not my experience; in fact, they were very slightly lower than a few others), go with OrganizIt! regardless. After obtaining five quotes, I was convinced I was getting the best company for the best price. Here's probably the best example of how happy I was. When Ehsan showed up to inspect the completed job and make sure I was satisfied, I asked him, "Does OrganizIt! do other jobs besides garage renovations? OrganizIt is an excellent company with a high-quality, outstanding product. We had them replace the old cabinets in our garage. The old cabinets were the kind that shared one back and were interconnected, so when heavy items were pulling down the shelves in one cabinet, everything became stretched out in a domino effect. Gus was able to assess the problem from photos I emailed, and he sent me back a detailed and very reasonable quote that covered making the new, bespoke cabinets, delivery, demolition and removal of the old cabinets, and installation of the new cabinets. Gus came out in person to measure the space and see the location, and he informed me the cabinets would be ready within a couple of weeks ( far faster than I had thought). I was stunned by the amazing efficiency of the installation crew! It took them less than 4 hours to demolish, remove, deliver, install, and clean-up. And when I say "clean up," ... the only sign that they had ever been there was a single old door handle that I found had fallen and lodged itself under a set of free-standing shelves. This is a remarkable company. they remodeled our 3 1/2 car garage in 8 days! it included demolition and removal of old cabinets and plywood, framing the entire room to create an attic, drywalling and painting everything, including the new ceiling, adding lights, adding many large cabinets plus laundry cabinets and a work station with upper and lower cabinets. all lower cabinets have butcher block tops. They worked with another person who put in epoxy floors. we also have a slat wall on one side of the garage. The crews were AMAZING!!! We had bids from contractors who said it would take 5-6 weeks. I have never seen such organization as this team. Gus was the person who came out and gave us the estimate. He was great to work with. He was immediately available whenever I called and answered every question. Just wanted to give another update on the "work" that Gus and his team did on my COMMERCIAL building in Pasadena. I hear he is decent for garage floors, but I can tell you definitively that if you are looking for someone to do a commercial level epoxy job - they are NOT your team. We continue to have epoxy lift up all over my 4,750 sq. Ft. Facility. I will now be using a company to come in and repair their "work" - a company that does jobs like the epoxy you see in hospital buildings or airports. It's one thing to do a job from scratch - its a completely separate job to come in and fix the poor work that another company has done. If you are looking for Commercial Grade work - please, please look elsewhere. ((Ok, Gus, I'm ready for you to come call me a liar again and publicly bash me for leaving an honest review - after all, that's what Yelp is for, right? Honest reviews?)). Good luck, everyone.
