We had an amazing experience with this flooring company for our epoxy flooring project. This is not the typical glossy garage-style epoxy -- the finish is beautifully matte, soft, smooth, and very elegant, which makes it perfect for a beauty salon, dental office, studio, gym, or any professional space. Their team was extremely professional, detail-oriented, and responsible. If they noticed any small imperfection, they fixed it before we even had to mention it. After the job was completed, they cleaned everything thoroughly and left no mess behind. Their customer service was excellent from the ordering process to the final follow-up, and they were always easy to reach and quick to respond throughout the entire project. We are very happy with the result with very competitive pricing and highly recommend them! read more

Jose and his team were amazing. They completely fixed our garage floor which had cracks and chips throughout it. Because of their hard work, we were able to turn it into an actual living space. Epoxy Masters did everything within a few days, and there were no issues. Jose himself is a dream to deal with. Extremely polite, accommodating, and honest. I would recommend Epoxy Masters to anyone in need of a garage floor face-lift (or any other floor that could benefit from an Epoxy coating). read more

My garage floor had cracks and would leak to the space below if water got in the garage during heavy rain. I reached out to Jose who was very transparent with the process. Explained how he would approach the job and when prepping the floor would grind down the cracks to level then and fill so no water could enter before applying the 4150 epoxy primer sealer which blocks 15lbs of moisture. I picked a 1/4 smoke colour for the epoxy with a paint chip broadcast. Jose and his team were very thorough prepping the first day. Every chip or crack sealed to dry over night. The next day they epoxied the floor with vapor barrier epoxy 3 coat system Epoxy MVB FLAKE 100% broadcast Polyaspartic final coat uv protected non yellowing. Looks great. After checking on the internet and learning a little about epoxy coating, I searched Yelp. I was looking to epoxy coat my outdoor barbecue countertop. I measured it at approximately 42 square feet. I found many garage floor pictures and reviews, and maybe one other mention of countertops. I thought maybe it wasn't a good idea. Then I saw Epoxy Masters on Yelp. I called and talked with Jose. I specifically asked about UV inhibitor because I learned it was very necessary, particularly if you choose a light color. We set up an appointment so he could see the job. My countertop had small cracks and was colored in a medium brown color. It has always bothered me to look at it. Jose came out and looked over the job. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and I gave him a deposit for $500 on the spot. Jose ordered my materials (the plastic chips are custom cut by size). I chose medium size. The supplier had a mix up which set us back a day or two. We scheduled the job, but due to weather concerns (rain/wind), we had to reschedule. On said date Jose arrived and began work. He is a hard worker and completed the initial job by himself. Basically it involved: preparing the surface by sanding and cleaning it; application of epoxy coat; applying custom cut (1/8") plastic chips; application of two coats of clear coat with UV inhibitor. The result was amazing. From weathered, faded, and cracked to shiny new. It almost resembles granite. I paid the man, so happy with the new look. After researching a little more, I decided to go with another coat for added protection. I liked that Jose asked me if I wanted to wait until later, after it weathered. That tells me that he is not all about the money. I decided against it. Basically the counter was sanded down smooth and a final clear coat was applied. I just love the look and so does everyone that visits the house because you walk right by it. I will also mention that Jose's price was below what I found the work should cost doing my research . Job well done Jose. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Sorry for the delay in posting my review Jose. read more

I recently hired Epoxy Masters to repave and epoxy my garage floor, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After reaching out to several companies in the greater Redondo Beach area, I found that many were overly aggressive, eager to start immediately without fully understanding the scope of work. That approach didn't inspire confidence. What did stand out was Epoxy Masters' reputation. Their Yelp reviews were solid, and the company seemed well-vetted. I contacted the owner, Jose Escobar, and was immediately impressed. I sent over photos to outline the project, and Jose responded with professionalism, deep knowledge, and a clear understanding of what was required. He provided a fair and reasonable estimate. Shortly, thereafter, I Venmo'd a deposit and we synced up our schedules. On the day of the job, his crew arrived on time and got straight to work. They thoroughly prepped the concrete--cleaning it, repairing existing cracks, and etching the surface to ensure optimal epoxy adhesion. The epoxy was applied in multiple coats, with proper curing time between each layer. He advised that I wait about 48 hours for proper drying. The result is a beautifully finished garage floor that looks great and will stand the test of time. My only issue now is that I've got to paint the garage because the new epoxy is making it look bad. In the end, I highly recommend Epoxy Masters and Jose Escobar for anyone looking for high-quality, professional epoxy work. Rick D. read more

Ready for the summer thanks to Jose and the Epoxy Masters team. I had a few projects going on at my house that I needed to get done before summer got here, and I thought this one was going to be the most stressful. It was in fact the opposite. I met with a couple contractors and I noticed everyone was just trying to upsell me on everything. The most expensive quote i received - the guy didn't even talk about the process, he just told me how it would look afterward, and then tried upselling me on future maintenance etc. When I met Jose I had a good vibe right away and he was very easy to talk to. Not only was he competitive on pricing, but he jumped in right away to explain the process; we talked about the layering of the materials, epoxy, flakes, polyaspartic, etc., timing; general maintenance and care, and answered all my questions such as how the expansion joints are impacted etc. The process took under 2 weeks, and that's only because there were a couple of days we thought it might rain and we paused to be cautious of that. Other than that they had the concrete grinded in about 2 days and between the first and final layers it was about a weeks time of work for this incredible transformation. My biggest peeve in life is promptness and communication. I can't stand when people don't communicate, send texts and tell you when they're running late, and communicate in general. Jose was on top of everything, always letting me know what's happening, texting me photos of the work in progress on the days I was at work, texting me if they needed to re-arrange some time on a certain day, etc. To me that's the most important thing next to the actual work itself. I can highly recommend them for your project! read more

Not only did he exceed my expectations but finished the job as promised in time for my 4th of July party. I have run many crews in my 30 years in both the film and commercial design business and it is rare you find individuals who stand up to their reputation and word. Jose, Jesus, Ruben and Austin worked tirelessly to complete the task at hand and did so with amazing results. Can't say enough positive things about Jose and his team! They completely transformed our garage which we are now using as a home gym. His crew even helped remove the old vinyl flooring that was present from the previous homeowner (which would have taken us forever to do on our own). They worked incredibly hard and got it all done in TWO days! Then, when I pointed out a few places that needed minor touch up, Jose was incredibly quick to respond and get it done. Our floor looks absolutely beautiful now. We've had family and friends who can hardly believe it's the same garage. If you want to hire someone who is extremely responsive, transparent, fair on pricing, hardworking, and produces fantastic results -- definitely go with Jose and his crew. Also, if you're thinking about DIYing epoxy... save yourself and headache. It's worth it to get this professionally done so that it lasts for years to come. When looking for a professional to epoxy my two-car garage, I did what you're all probably doing, went to Yelp, and began my search. After reading countless reviews, I found Epoxy Masters and decided to give Jose a call, best decision. Not only was he responsive, and was able to quickly quote our project, but was very helpful in educating me on different colors/materials/options for our garage floor. In addition, he's friendly, personable, and really cares about your final product. Jose is a great communicator, and for those that have done home projects, you know how rare this is. He would text me saying when he would arrive with his crew and always showed up on time. Jose and his crew were very helpful in helping me move a few large items. We had to temporarily remove our washer and dryer from the garage and they helped move it out for us AND even came back the next day to put them back after the floor was dry! This was beyond helpful. I could not be more pleased with Jose's work in my three car garage. He was so accomodating to my schedule and needs. I have a great deal of heavy shop equipment on the single car side and so needed the job to be done in two phases and I wanted to help to move this shop equipment from one side to the other and back. Most contractors that I contacted would not do a job in two phases, much less help me move my equipment. Since there was no level, secure place to store my shop equipment while the epoxy set, this ruled them out completely. One was willing to do the job on two different days, but would not move the shop equipment, meaning that I would have to hire some day laborers into my garage, something I wanted to avoid. But Jose was supportive right from the beginning. He agreed to do the job in two parts, separated by three days so that the single car side could competely harden before my shop equipment was moved back over there. He agreed to move my equipment and did so with care and diligence. In the end, you cannot even tell where the coating done one day on the single car side joins with the coating done days later on the two car side. They merge perfectly. His guys very methodically sanded the floor and filled the inevitable cracks in the cement foundation. They very carefully laid the epoxy layer, the color chips, and a few hours later the polyspartic coating. All this happened during short dry periods between the torrential rains we had this last spring. Jose was very diligent and flexible, working his schedule to fit both my needs and those times when the work could be done given the weather. The net result is a totally professional beautiful wall-to-wall floor coating. I could not be more pleased. Two recommendations for you considering this in your garages. First of all, definitely get the polyspartic coating on top. It is much harder, shinier and more chemical resistant. It will last much longer. I asked Jose for an extra coating layer which he did for a very reasonable added cost. It was worth it. Second, the installer must sand your original concrete floor to prepare it for the epoxy and make sure they get a firm bond. This creates a great deal of dust and no matter how close they run a vacuum near the large floor sander, this dust will get absolutely everywhere, even six feet off the ground. I highly recommend that you remove even things that are not on the floor so that you do not later have an enormous dusting challenge. Jose very helpfully put up some plastic to cover some of my storage area, but the dust still got everywhere. read more

Hands down the best service I have received from someone in the "construction" industry. If you are renovating your house or have done it in the past, you know how rare it is to get even descent service. His team is courteous and they took care of the area outside the garage and ensured no spilling or damage was done during the process. He was quick and took exceptional care of the garage and surrounding area. Highly recommend! read more

Jose was very kind, patient, and communicative throughout the entire process. The work is excellent, at a very affordable price. I went with the flake epoxy, which took 1 day and dries in 48h. Jose and Frank are truly the Epoxy Masters! Jose really goes above and beyond for his customers when it comes to customer service. He usually has sundays off, but the moment I let him know that I needed my floors done ASAP, he made time to come look at my two garages to give me a quote as well as showed me my options. He is really professional, honest, well priced, and explains the epoxy process thoroughly. They also have many color samples to choose from. I am quite particular when it comes to small details and I can promise you that Jose and Frank understand attention to small details. They also use high quality epoxy to ensure that it will last for years to come. They also stand behind their work and do not cheap out of flakes. Jose and Frank are the best and really go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with their work. My vision was to create a Japanese Kintsugi style garage floor, where the cracks would be filled in with a gold epoxy and the concrete would be finished with a sealer. I only found 1 contractor in the area who had done this before, and they gave me a very high quote and were not very responsive. After talking to Jose, I could sense how dedicated he was and I wanted to give him our business, and he was incredibly willing to work with me in figuring out how to create these floors. Jose was so patient as we mixed up multiple rounds of colored epoxy to create the perfect shade of gold. He even let me get in there and pipe the epoxy into the cracks myself in some cases. On the day that we were supposed to do the sealer, some of the epoxy had sunken into the cracks, but jose brought some clear caulking and we were able to remedy the issue quickly. I'm very happy with how the floors turned out. My vision really came to life. Huge thanks to Jose and Frank. read more
