We had already been through 4 prior proposals from other contractors before we met Ari and had a look around the show room of his family-run business on Ventura Blvd. in Encino. They carry a range of major brands in floor coverings and specialize in a stand-out brand of Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring--COREtec. We had already settled on that brand after months of shopping and research, so it was all the more reassuring when we saw that's what Ari carries. It was unbelievable to us, how sketchy and flaky some of the area's flooring contractors are--more than one not even bothering to forward a timely, coherent bid after coming to measure. Could not have been a better experience!!! Obsessed with my new engineered hardwood floors and everyone else loves them too! Just bought a house and wanted to redo floors before I officialy moved in. Searched many reviews from various places to find pictures for floors I liked from probably every place in the valley and surrounding areas. I liked Floor Concepts pictures the best to be honest, so I'm thrilled things worked out. They were also great with my timing. Spoke to Ari and he is amazing! He was very easy to deal with, super nice and knowledgable. He came over soon after initial contact and provided an estimate. I was able to go to the storefront and he Ari me choose a number of samples to take home, which was EXTREMELY helpful. I say that because the color I originally wanted ended up being the opposite of what I went with because in my house, it was showing up way too dark. I originally wanted to rip out the original hardwood floors, but Ari convinced me it would be better (and cheaper) to lay on top of the existing floors. Looking back, I am super thankful we went that route. Saves a lottt of time, MESS, and who knows what else is underneath floors...... When the estimate came in, the brand and color I loved was a bit expensive for my current budget... That said, no worries because Ari suggested comparable options for a bit less money and I ended up loving my new floor select even more! Truly. When the floors were ready to be installed, everything went perfectly!!!! The team was super friendly and efficient and would check in with me regarding specific things to make sure I was aligned (like the baseboard option, floor direction, etc). The finished result of the floors not only looked great, but also felt great when walking on them. Everything was done in 3 days and it could have not been a more satisfying experience! We used them to install wood and tile in our home's first floor about 10 years ago. The work they did has stood up to some heavy use. One of our kids was suffering from allergies. It was recommended to change the second story flooring from carpet to wood. So, we used them again last month to install wood floors on the second floor. Ari is fantastic! After calling & visiting multiple places on the Westside and in the Valley, my husband & I decided to go with Ari & Floor Concepts to install our sisal staircase runner. Ari was very friendly & helpful, and his price was very competitive. His quote over the phone was almost exactly what the final cost was. He also let us take the binder of samples home to see how they would fit with our wood floors. Our staircase has several landings which makes it quite tricky to install the runners in a continuous line, but his installer really took his time to cut each piece to ensure that the lines remained continuous & straight throughout the entire staircase. We even had Ari make us a matching 13' runner for our hallway to match the staircase runner. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the work, and would recommend Floor Concepts! read more
