We had an amazing experience with Ari from Floor Concepts from start to finish. We had had a difficult project matching new engineered wood with old one. We visited his showroom and found what we were looking for. Ari has a large inventory of the best quality products. Two days later he visited our house, took measurements, and we placed an order. As soon as the order arrived his excellent team came to replaced an old carpet with a new engineered wood. His team of installers was excellent, professional and top notch. They really wanted us to be happy with their work. Alex and his partner have done an outstanding job, and we are delighted with the outcome. We cannot recommend Ari highly enough! read more

Just the nicest owner EVER! Expert service and excellent installations. Wouldn't use anyone else and I'm super picky. read more

We found Ari and Floor Concepts through Yelp and could not be happier with the service from start to finish and end result! Ari was especially helpful when it came to the design of our stair runner as we had a more unique staircase layout that was not as straight forward. The material we chose is just perfect and we get so many compliments on how it all looks. Highly recommend!! read more

We discovered there's a very good reason why Floor Concepts gets a 4.9 rating on Yelp! We're going with a solid 5! We had already been through 4 prior proposals from other contractors before we met Ari and had a look around the show room of his family-run business on Ventura Blvd. in Encino. They carry a range of major brands in floor coverings and specialize in a stand-out brand of Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring--COREtec. We had already settled on that brand after months of shopping and research, so it was all the more reassuring when we saw that's what Ari carries. It was unbelievable to us, how sketchy and flaky some of the area's flooring contractors are--more than one not even bothering to forward a timely, coherent bid after coming to measure. Ari and his people were a breath of fresh air--honest, competent, a pleasure to deal with. And with pricing and terms that were VERY competitive--not the absolute cheapest but toward the lower end. The communication, workmanship and service however were right at the top. So save yourself some headaches and get a great new floor at a very good price--just call Ari! read more

Could not have been a better experience!!! Obsessed with my new engineered hardwood floors and everyone else loves them too! Just bought a house and wanted to redo floors before I officialy moved in. Searched many reviews from various places to find pictures for floors I liked from probably every place in the valley and surrounding areas. I liked Floor Concepts pictures the best to be honest, so I'm thrilled things worked out. They were also great with my timing. Spoke to Ari and he is amazing! He was very easy to deal with, super nice and knowledgable. He came over soon after initial contact and provided an estimate. I was able to go to the storefront and he Ari me choose a number of samples to take home, which was EXTREMELY helpful. I say that because the color I originally wanted ended up being the opposite of what I went with because in my house, it was showing up way too dark. I originally wanted to rip out the original hardwood floors, but Ari convinced me it would be better (and cheaper) to lay on top of the existing floors. Looking back, I am super thankful we went that route. Saves a lottt of time, MESS, and who knows what else is underneath floors...... When the estimate came in, the brand and color I loved was a bit expensive for my current budget... That said, no worries because Ari suggested comparable options for a bit less money and I ended up loving my new floor select even more! Truly. When the floors were ready to be installed, everything went perfectly!!!! The team was super friendly and efficient and would check in with me regarding specific things to make sure I was aligned (like the baseboard option, floor direction, etc). The finished result of the floors not only looked great, but also felt great when walking on them. Everything was done in 3 days and it could have not been a more satisfying experience! Bright, airy, makes my space look bigger, matches well with furniture... perfect. Thanks again, Ari & Floor Concepts!!! I am so happy for deciding to go through with these floors and you guys are the ones to thank for making it happen! read more

We replaced the floors in our entire house and our experience with Floor Concepts was fantastic! Ari was really helpful throughout the entire process, and very patient as I took forever to decide on what kind of floors we wanted. He made great suggestions and talked through all the pros and cons of the choices. Installation went very smoothly and the installers did a wonderful job, including some work necessary to level and smooth out the floors before laying the wood. Small details and finishing touches were paid careful attention and the floors look amazing - it transformed the look of my whole house. Súper helpful and informative. A jam packed showroom with everything you could ask for. They actually talked us out of doing new floors, suggesting instead that we refinish our engineered floors, resulting in a loss for themselves as they don't do this service. We will definitely get our carpet with them tho! read more

We shopped around at a lot of places, bu Ari and Floor Concepts were amazing! We wanted LVT, and he had the best selection and samples, let us take them home and compare, was a breeze to work with and his team did an incredible and thorough job. He estimated 3 days and it took them two, even when they did extra work to get the sub-flooring in shape. Our floors look beautiful, and the price was extremely competitive. Thank you, Ari! read more

Ari and his team did an excellent job on the removal of carpet and installation of wood flooring in our home. The installation and detail performed was excellent. The workmanship and design produced was very creative. The workers were very accommodating throughout the removal of the carpet and installation of 1490 square feet of Kerrew Hardwood wood floors. After shopping around we found his prices very fair and competitive before committing to have the work performed. He came highly recommended to me by a friend who also had his team work on their home. read more

Highly recommend Floor Concepts! Flooring companies are a dime a dozen, and you usually end up working with a salesperson who doesn't know much and who just wants to make the sale at any cost. I found Floor Concepts just by chance, when I started calling around to "fact check" something another flooring company had told me, which I suspected was just to try and get more $$. Ari, the owner, was so knowledgeable and helpful, that I decided to ditch the other company and go with Floor Concepts. He was so patient with all of my questions, and he handled the entire order with me from start to finish. The installers finished the job yesterday, and the new floors are BEAUTIFUL. The installation went so smoothly and the workmanship is excellent. I'm so happy and relieved that I found Floor Concepts! read more

We used them to install wood and tile in our home's first floor about 10 years ago. The work they did has stood up to some heavy use. One of our kids was suffering from allergies. It was recommended to change the second story flooring from carpet to wood. So, we used them again last month to install wood floors on the second floor. The owner is very knowledgeable and guided us to the right wood floor and type of installation. The work was done promptly as promised and without any flaws. Even more importantly to me, the installers were good guys and not people I was concerned about having in my home. Also, their prices were very reasonable compared to others. When you consider the service and product, the decision for us was very easy. read more

Ari was a pleasure to work with. Our news floors look beautiful. Happy to have gotten this done with Floor Concepts. They went out of their way and got exactly what we wanted. Port issue was not in our control and we made it work. Thank you, Ari! read more

Ari is fantastic! After calling & visiting multiple places on the Westside and in the Valley, my husband & I decided to go with Ari & Floor Concepts to install our sisal staircase runner. Ari was very friendly & helpful, and his price was very competitive. His quote over the phone was almost exactly what the final cost was. He also let us take the binder of samples home to see how they would fit with our wood floors. Our staircase has several landings which makes it quite tricky to install the runners in a continuous line, but his installer really took his time to cut each piece to ensure that the lines remained continuous & straight throughout the entire staircase. We even had Ari make us a matching 13' runner for our hallway to match the staircase runner. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the work, and would recommend Floor Concepts! read more

I was replacing carpet in my house to get it ready for sale. Someone mentioned Floor Concepts, so I went by. The store isn't huge, but it has a good selection. Even more important, the owner, Ari, really knows what's popular now, and how to get the best look for your budget. When he came out to measure, he made it easy to decide on the right carpet and color. His installers did an amazing job. And he came by to check the job, and then called me when it was done to make sure I was happy. Really terrific service and follow through. read more
