Worst customer service. I wouldn't bother wasting your time and money here. When asked for another napkin, the old lady (assuming she is the owner) said no. We ordered multiple items and she was so rude just for extra napkins. read more

Affordable dumplings alert! This place is located inside H mart, making it super convenient to grab a bite to avoid hangry shopping. The layout is food court style. As you approach the counter, there are display trays of the dishes to expedite decision-making instead of looking at a plain menu. It's just simply easy to point, and ask what's that dish. After ordering & paying at the counter, search for seats. The nice lady at the counter directly brought the food to us. She later gave us complimentary hot tea while we were eating our meal - loved it! My favorite dumplings of all time are the xiao long bao, soup dumplings. The dumplings were moderately dry here. I did not yield any soup leaking out when I poked a hole into the dumplings with my chopstick. Engulfing the entire dumpling, it was not as juicy as I hoped it to be. They really need more soup to be an actual soup dumpling. The seafood shumai has a lot of dough. I had to make a conscious effort to find the meat. Not the best I have ever had. Overall, I will likely return to satisfy some dumpling cravings when in a time crunch or in extreme hunger while grocery shopping. read more

Great dumplings, especially the kimchi dumplings. Friendly service, very fast, and reasonably priced. Located inside H-Mart, but plenty of space to sit down and eat. Family friendly. read more

The food is all right, but the service is terrible. There's an older woman there that is extremely rude and treats you like you're a nuisance. She incorrectly rang me up and treated me like I'm the one that made the mistake and accused me of not paying. Getting the extra charge refunded was a debacle and she never apologized. The dumplings weren't good enough to go there again in my opinion. That woman is rude and based on other reviews she has a habit of this. read more

This is a hidden gem inside of H Mart (Asian grocery store). The grocery store has a whole food cart inside of it and Mr Dumpling is the only one that sales steamed and fried dumplings. The owner was very helpful, she explained to me each type of dumpling she had on hand and how many comes with each order. I am not a pork eater, so I went with the fried chicken and steamed shrimp. The shrimp came with 8 and the chicken came with 12 and the order was $13 total. I was amazed at how inexpensive it was. I placed my order to go so it took about 8-10mins to receive my order and they were busy on a Sunday afternoon. The dumplings are served with a regular soy sauce that is pretty salty or a spicy soy sauce (just has slices of jalapeños in it but not actually spicy nor salty). After going right home to eat the dumplings I was very pleased. I would personally recommend the fried dumpling options because they packed more flavor than the steamed ones. But both hot and still good and great amount for the price I was full afterwards and only had half of both orders. read more

Don't see the hype about this place first and last time going. Got chicken friend dumplings and chicken soup dumplings. Fried dumplings were half fried 3/10 soup dumplings weren't as soupy as I thought and tasted meh 5/10. Nothing special. $20 mediocre meal. Also in stinky H mart with dirty tables and flies everywhere. Won't be returning. read more

We love this place. The lady who runs the front is so nice and helpful. She loves it when our large family comes in and she makes sure we get all we need. The dumplings are perfection. It's a frequent request from our kids. Plenty of variety. You can't go wrong. Note: this is located inside HMart in the food court. read more

Lady at the front is incredibly rude, dumplings are good but she will not sell me pork dumplings. She gets pissed the minute you order that. I don't know if it's a race thing but I've never had such a terrible experience before like this one. She mumbles things under her breath and yanked the ringer out of my hand. I've tried to give them a chance multiple times. (Shame on me for even trying) HORRIBLE customer service. read more

Absolutely love their steamed pork dumplings! My whole family is obsessed. They are decently priced as well. You can also order then do some quick shopping around hmart. read more

Mr Dumpling - Steamed Dumplings (pork) - Dim Sum Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

Inside H Mart you have so many choices of eateries to choose ranging from Japanese, Chinese to of course, Korean. Although most of the dishes definitely have a Korean spin to it, it's nice to branch out every once in awhile. I ordered the Xiao Long Bao, or soup dumpling. The flavor was completely on point, but it honestly didn't have a lot of soup and was a little cold in the middle. I think if they left it in the steamer just for another minute or so, it would have been better. It gets four stars because the dumpling skin was perfectly thin, the little bit of soup I did get was great and again, the flavor was great. Also, while small, the price is about 6 bucks for these freshly made dumplings, making it affordable. read more

Vegetable Dumplings & Fried (Chicken) Dumplings I really enjoyed the fried dumplings, they were chicken, but you can get different flavors. I was not too fond of the steamed vegetable dumplings. I would definitely order the chicken dumplings again and try other fried options. We received free hot tea with our order as we waited. read more

A lovely couple operate this stand in the food court of the H Market. There is a good selection of dumplings both steamed and pan fried. All house made and cooked to order. Our particular favorite was the shrimp shu mai. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are big. Very enjoyable. read more

Amazing!!!! I've read about this place and drooled over the pictures long enough. I finally arrived and was not disappointed at all. The lady at the front was extremely friendly and helpful explaining everything. I got the king steamed dumplings and OMG!!! They were so good. The jalapeño infused soy sauce was over the top!!!! Not that the dumplings needed it. They were so soft and amazingly flavorful!!! If they weren't so far away I'd go every day!! read more

This place was just ok. Service was great but the dumplings didn't have enough flavor for me.

I've had buns and dumplings here many times over the years and they are usually pretty good. The twinted rolls are just plain good bread, as well as the peach buns. I'm not super big on gyoza so I cannot speak as to how it is here. I had the bao today (steamed pork bun) and I really was not super impressed with the filling. It tasted kind of odd, and came out in one clump instead of pulling apart beautifully. They do have quite the selection, so if your in the market for anything dumpling, come here. Just maybe don't get the bao. The soup dumplings look great, and as do the kimchi dumplings. I will defiantly be trying those in the future. In addition, the workers here are much nicer than other workers in the food court. The owner gives out free hot tea to everyone. That's not something you see at any other place. She also brings the food to you, instead of other places that just call your number. She also insisted on taking our plates for us. Great customer service overall! read more

I'd been shopping at 99 Ranch, but decided to go to Hmart for lunch, and I'm so glad I did. The lady working the register was so sweet! I wasn't sure what to order, so she explained to me what everything was, but highly recommended the the soup dumplings. They were delicious! I also like how she gave all of her customers hot tea after they ordered. Even if the food wasn't delicious I would give this place 5 stars because of the lady who works here! Luckily the food is delicious to go along with the sweet lady who is running the shop. read more

I don't think any other dumpling can compare to these. I don't care if I've already eaten I will always stop by to get some dumplings if I can. They really are the best and the owners are the sweetest people. I hope I can eat their dumplings for much more time to come. 100/100 read more

I went here years ago with my family and years later I took my boyfriend here and he loves their soup dumplings so much. They're good for the winter, but I honestly don't mind having them in the summer because they're that good. I've only tried their soup dumplings and shumai and both were amazing. The soup dumplings are super hot when it initially comes out so I have to wait a minute to begin eating them. The radishes they serve them with are refreshing to eat after eating so many. The sauce pairs well with the dumplings as well. Every time I eat the soup dumplings it warms my stomach and everything melts in my mouth. Definitely stop by this place if you need a break from shopping at H-mart. read more

The lady who runs the counter is horrible. Every time I have went there to buy the pork king dumpling they're "sold out" every single time i go. I don't know if I should just give up but I've been there more than a handful of times and they never seem to have it. But yet the other day I tried to order it because the people infront of me just ordered it. The male cashier gave me a weird look and went to talk to the female owner and then the female owner cut him off and said "no we are sold out." It wasn't even noon...come on. It shouldn't be hard to make more of a product if it is your most popular menu item. I have heard from other people who go there that speak Korean say that the owner has said she doesn't give out the good dumplings to customers who are not Korean or Asian appearing. No idea how true it is. maybe I just have terrible luck. Anyways, food is okay at Mr.Dumpling I won't be going there every again just because the service is terrible and the food as everyone says tastes like they got it from the frozen food section. The Katsu place a few stalls down is so much better and the service is amazing! read more

Friendliest staff in the food court! The lady manager was on point with bringing us our food and giving us our to go box and picking up the bowls! We ordered the soup dumplings and pork buns. Do they make the dumplings fresh? I would like to know! I like how the dumplings don't taste dough-y I wouldn't order the pork buns again they were a bland for my liking. Maybe I needed to dunk them into more soy sauce. Can't wait to go back to try more items on the menu! read more

Dumplings are absolutely fantastic. I've had the soup dumplings twice now and they still don't disappoint.

Went to check this place out, today. We ordered the soup dumplings, the pork pan fried dumplings, and the fried sweet buns. As others have said, the soup dumplings are not really soupy, but they tasted good. Especially with the spicy dipping sauce. Yum! The fried sweet buns we're good. Super satisfying crunch and it kind of tastes like a funnel cake. It comes with sweetened condensed milk to dip it in. The star of the show, however, were the pan fried pork dumplings. They were so tender inside but had a nice crunch on the outside, and they crisped it up all around instead of just on the flat side. The flavor was on point. Possibly the best potstickers I have had. The people working there were nice and it was fast. Yes it is a stand in a busy supermarket, but it is awesome. And the market is great. read more

Unexpected and delicious! This is a favorite place of my daughter's, so we had to try it. We ordered a bunch of different items and all of them were my favorite! Dumplings are great, but customer service lacks manners and the lady can be sweet when she feels like it. Poor girl working with her got yelled out cause she accidentally forgot my friends and I sauce. I'm guessing the boy is her son who really doesn't do anything and has the same attitude as his mother. Dumplings are great but makes me not want to eat there anymore. I suggest if only you can handle her rudeness go ahead and eat but if not there are other stalls with great food also with much nicer people. read more

I see a lot of comments about the lady who helps you. I think she was wonderful, obviously as a business owner she of course wanted to make a sell and recommend the best options. Not sure what I was expecting here, but what I got was a food court location inside of a grocery store. It is a small storefront with shared seating amongst the other eateries. It was crowded and tough to find a spot, but we finally found one after we ordered. It was strange, but as we were waiting for our food, they kept telling us to move into a tight table surrounded by others closer to their booth. It's like they didn't want to walk as far to deliver the food. The wait time was about 10 minutes between ordering and when our food arrived. We got the soup dumplings and fried potstickers and they were okay. Tasted kind of like they had been frozen before, but the soup dumplings had soup and the price was good. It was definitely on the greasy side of things and made you feel heavy afterwards. read more

I've eaten dumplings here so many times over the years - they've never really been bad but they have never been very good either. However, this is really the only place locally that you can get dumplings at all beyond a basic potsticker. Today I went and ordered: shrimp dumplings, King buns, soup dumplings, and kimchi dumplings and the best thing I ate was the pickled jalapeno in the soy sauce marinade used to dip your dumplings. What should have been the prize of the meal, the soup dumplings, were gelatinous and tasted as if I had licked a wild animal - rather than pork soup. It was absolutely horrible. All of the food seemed relatively cold. I was very disappointed. Even the king of dumplings barely had any filling. Maybe they're having an off-day but I won't be back. I wasted far too much money today. read more

Tiny, mediocre dumplings with awful service. I ordered the soup dumplings (10 pc) for my mom and I. Took about 18 minutes which felt pretty long, especially since it was only a couple orders ahead of us. Finally got our dumplings and they were extremely underwhelming. I can forgive subpar food products, sometimes it happens. But when it comes to rude service, that's when I leave these reviews. My mom asked for another pair of chopsticks (they only gave us one when it was clearly two of us sitting down) and the lady says "okay only one more!" Then after she hands her the chopsticks, she mutters under her breath "jeez, only ordered one dish and needs two chopsticks..." How embarrassing for (I'm assuming her position) an owner to say that to a customer, who can clearly hear her say that. As a restaurant owner myself, I could never imagine saying that to a customer! I feel ashamed for an owner who's only focusing on profits and expenses. Like, you can't even offer a second pair of chopsticks to a paying customer? It's not like we didn't tip... If you're trying to dine at H Mart, skip on over to the next stall who will probably treat customers better and offer much better food. Go ahead and read the other reviews on her and Google...seems to be a repeating pattern for the owner. read more
