I've eaten dumplings here so many times over the years - they've never really been bad but they have never been very good either. However, this is really the only place locally that you can get dumplings at all beyond a basic potsticker. Today I went and ordered: shrimp dumplings, King buns, soup dumplings, and kimchi dumplings and the best thing I ate was the pickled jalapeno in the soy sauce marinade used to dip your dumplings. What should have been the prize of the meal, the soup dumplings, were gelatinous and tasted as if I had licked a wild animal - rather than pork soup. It was absolutely horrible. All of the food seemed relatively cold. I was very disappointed. Even the king of dumplings barely had any filling. Maybe they're having an off-day but I won't be back. Sometimes I try to read yelp review to see where it's located, but that doesn't come by easily. It was very cold day. I just wanted dumplings. Their soup dumplings was not as flavorful, but it was still good. I also got the fried dumplings. The lady was very sweet and convincing. She got me to ordered 3 different types of dumpling by myself. She gave me hot tea complimentary. I managed to finish it myself. My all time favorite place to eat dumplings!! I live about 30-40 minutes away but I still make the drive to eat their dumplings! Located inside the H-mart super market cafeteria. There are plenty of tables but it's usually busy at night on the weekends. I always get the soup dumplings and the vegetables dumplings. It is so good! Some of the best dumplings I have ever tasted came from the aptly named "Dumpling." This is a stall in the little food court area of Carrollton's H-mart, vaguely reminiscent of the many food stalls of Southeast Asian countries. They serve up all sorts of authentic dumplings and buns. I saw another reviewer complain about lack of variety...I think this has changed, or at least we must have hit it on a good day, because there was a large variety of menu items available. We had chicken dumplings and peach buns. The chicken dumplings were fried...this usually means either overly greasy or desert-dry, but they were just lightly crisped to the perfect level where there was crunch but not dryness. The filling remained juicy and flavorful as well. Simply delicious! They come with two small dipping sauces (one is spicy) and a little bowl of pickled veggies (daikon?). My friend detests the pickled veggies but I liked them a lot. The peach buns were sooooooo good. Shaped like little peaches, these steamed buns were filled with red bean paste, which may sound gross but was absolutely delicious. Red beans are common in Asian desserts, and the stuff I had in Carrollton was actually my first time trying them. Out of the red bean things I tried, the peach buns were the best. I could have eaten the whole basket of these things. Wowie. I'd definitely come back if I lived in the DFW area. The spicy soy sauce is a simple mix (spy sauce, fresh jalapenos, sesame oil, and sriracha) but it really hits the spot with their king dumplings, the soup dumplings, and their fried dumplings. I will drive to hMart just to get dumplings from this place! The owner is so sweet and nice, she always makes sure everything is great. I would have given 4-5 stars for the food here, but I was really disappointed with the service. The dumplings taste great; they're fresh and hot and come with good portion sizes. I had their soup dumplings each of the 3 time I've been here and it never fails. However, it took a very long time to get our order, even when there wasn't many people there. Also, the server was very rude to us the most recent time I went. We went with a group of 8 people and ordered one plate of soup dumplings to share. The server got angry at us for only ordering one plate and complained about how many pairs of chopsticks she's going to have to give us. When our order was ready, there was only one pair of chopsticks on our plate and she made us get up and pick up our order while she personally served every other customer. I haven't gone to many dumpling places, so I'm basing my review off of taste, staff and speed. This "stall" is located in a food court type area inside Hmart. It has display dumplings and menus items with prices. The lady who helped me today was very nice. I asked about a soup dumplings I saw online and she kindly pointed out the display and told me a little about it. After I ordered to go, she told me how to eat them and offered different sauces. I have eaten soup dumplings before but I wanted to see what she would say. Offer any new insight I may not be aware of. It took only 10 minutes to get my food. Long enough for me to go grab some goodies from the store for later. They packaged everything for me, advised me how to carry it since the steam was still coming out and I was on my way. I finally sat down and got to enjoy them. They were wonderful little pockets of meat with juicy soup. I bit off to much of the 2nd one and got a hand full of soup. No matter. The meat was tender and soft. The soup was very flavorful. I did use the dipping sauce for an extra kick and loved it that way too. The dough is a little thicker than ive had it before, but Im no expert, nor have I eaten this every day since childhood. Very happy with my choice. read more

I absolutely love this place! They have a variety of dumplings but I normally get the steamed king dumplings. The buns are so soft and you can definitely tell they're homemade. If you want a healthier version, they also have veggie steamed King dumplings which are also delicious! I've had their steamed chicken dumplings and their veggie dumplings. Both are a great meal! You also get a choice of spicy or mild sauce to go with your dumplings. The owner of this place is so kind. She knows her regulars and always offers hot tea to customers who are waiting in the food court area. The tea definitely goes well with any meal. After you're done, I always return my tray back to the counter instead of the cart that all the other businesses use. I definitely recommend this place if you're craving dumplings!! read more
