I needed a new sink our new countertops were being installed. I am in Ohio and wanted to shop local I called to order .I was told to order on line for speed and accuracy I placed order for 33 Inch sink and was advised I should get it in 3 days since local. I was told that night by the installer it would be to big so I called to cancel within 24 hrs. I was advised it was in process sink arrived 6 days later I had contacted customer service again whom said do not refuse it wait for call tag I did and returned it on that same day. My bad I was charged a 73.20 return charge on a 135.00 purchase This is ridiculous We did not even open it .When I called and spoke with Fred and Haley they refused to refund any more SO DISSAPOINTED I should have just kept the sink. The sinsink itself is of decent quality. However, i would not suggest buying directly from MR direct. There return policies are not consumer friendly and/or in line with how consumers shop today. $73 for aink invluding shipping. Net return $22 after paying shipping too and fro. Color matching is not accurate via photos and should not be penalized with an additional 20% stocking fee. ***DO NOT buy directly from MR direct, unless you have physically seen the item elsewhere.*** Even then, you should reward the Brick n Mortar location with the purchase. ordered and received a two bowl stainless steel sink. With the sink comes two grates to place in the sink so that the sink doesn't get scratched. When my plumber put the sink in he laughed and advised me they welded the grates backwards. The long pieces of stainless which should be welded to the top of grate to give you a flat surface to keep items upright were welded to the bottom of grate and the short pieces were welded to the top. Because these do not give you a flat surface whenever you place a glass or small bowl they fall over. When I called customer service they state I have to go to Lowes where I purchased the sink, faucet and granite countertop as Mr Direct will not deal with me as I am a third party. This place truly sucks on multiple levels. I received my sink rather quickly. But the package was badly damaged. I took pics and sent an email rejecting the order, which was a sink and a couple of things that went with the sink. It was a Friday, so no assistance all weekend. (This is 2018, that is a fail in and of itself). I called Monday Morning and got Sarah. She told me she would make a claim with UPS and I could print a label out for it. Then she corrected herself and said no label was needed. She instructed me to put it back out on my porch. I asked "now?" And she said to wait until the following day. Next morning I called just to check that I was supposed to set the large box out. She answered and remembered our conversation. Her response was "Oh, I must have been sleepy when I told you that". Huh? Who says something that inane on a business call? Who says something that stupid after about the age of 4? Add to that she had not yet even made the claim. (Perhaps she napped the remainder of the day. With her binky). Now all the information changed. I was expected to take out the other stuff from the box and use a printed out label and take it myself to UPS package it and ship it. I work 6-6 daily. I don't have time to do their work fixing problems between them and UPS. Nor do I intend to spend any of my money packaging their crap. For sone reason, UPS would not do these very things, they would just throw it away. Really. They choose a shipper who can't get stuff shipped without breaking and then when the customer wants their money back they have to work for it. Another inane comment: if I leave the items in the box "our company will lose money." That is my problem how? At one point, my email was rejected as blocked by her company. Now they threaten that if I don't get the crap they made me dig out of their poorly packed box back within ten days, no refund. What a crock! Clearly a poorly run company, who provides zero customer service, employs buffoons, and takes no responsibility for their idiocy. I subsequently saw toms of reviews of broken sinks arriving. Seems they are penny wise and pound foolish focusing on my getting them a wire grid worth about .50 cents back and not getting a several hundred dollar sink to its destination intact. Zero stars - buyer beware do not do business with this company. Ordered sink well in advance of counter top installation. The counters arrived and the sink did not fit. Literally put it right back in the box. Spoke with multiple people at MR Direct and they refuse to take my sink back since I am outside of the 45 day window. I would happily pay a restocking fee and shipping to return this item but they refuse to take it back. A couple things learned.... 1. They still have this sink IN STOCK and will not accept the return. 2. I found the identical sink made by MR Direct on other websites for substantially less than MR Directs list price on their site. She refunded the difference for customer satisfaction which I am pleased with. I do believe after posting a review the company was concerned and they wanted to and did the right thing. Unhappy with misleading sales tactics. When viewing items, it gives you arrival date if ordered within the next hours. That is not true. Once you place order and pay, it gives you actual arrival date of shipment. Also, it doesn't give you option for express shipping. They use UPS ground. read more

I ordered this "Black Granite" sink. It arrived, I gave it to my installer and he put it in. I went to location and saw that the sink was Grey not black as described and shown in photos. I called MrDitect to have it exchanged for the Black sink I ordered. You would think they would take back the Grey sink and replace it with a Black sink as that is what was ordered, that did not happen. To sum up our conversation they said too f'ing bad, eat it, but we will give you a discount on your next one. Ha ha ha. The sink itself is great; however, I would hesitate to order from this company again because of its poor customer service. The sink did not come with the template, which it clearly states it would, nor did it come with any instructions. Not having a template delayed our granite counter installation. When my husband called customer service to request these items, they were able to email the template, but for instructions we were told "we don't provide instructions. We are not installers." Well, no kidding. But if you buy something requiring installation from a store, it comes with instructions. When we argued this, we were told told verbatim via email, "we usually suggest you tube videos in cases like this." Ridiculous. read more

My experience with Broadway has been a month long night mare that I would not wish on anyone. My warranty company selected Broadway to repair my fridge. The fridge was working but the freezer, middle drawer and ice maker were not. I talked to Broadway on Wednesday and they said they would be out the following Wednesday to diagnose. They called me the day they were supposed to come out and said they were not coming they knew what the issue was and would order the part and be out the following Wednesday to repair (the day before Thanksgiving.) They had advised me to clean out the fridge and unplug it the day before they were arriving to repair. I called on Tuesday to confirm my appointment the next day before I threw everything away and I was confirmed a 10a to 2p window. They called Wednesday morning to confirm the fridge was cleaned out and I unplugged which I confirmed to them. I received a call at 1p on Wednesday (again the day before Thanksgiving) and was told it would be too much driving they would be out on Monday (yes, 5 days later). I was furious and told them that was not acceptable. His response was you have a working fridge. NO I DID NOT I HAD THROWN EVERYTHING AWAY. Did he think I was going to restock it only to throw it all away again on Sunday?? The home warranty called me before I could call them and told me that Broadway had an emergency heat request and had to move me to Monday. Funny they told me it was too much driving, I asked the home warranty to find a different vendor but they talked me out of it telling me it would add substantial time to my repair. Monday Broadway shows up and replaces a part. I asked the guy before he left is everything working and he told me he didn't know to stick a bottle of water in the freezer and See if it freezes. Really?? Well you guessed it it did not fix the problem which is not hard to believe since they never diagnosed it. Long story short I got the home warranty to let me pick my own vendors. New vendor diagnosed the issue as a systems issue and told me it should still be under manufacturer warranty. I have someone scheduled from the manufacturer warranty to repair on Tuesday. Because of Broadway I will be without a proper working fridge for exactly one month when it is repaired next Tuesday . I hope they enjoyed my $85 copay as well as what ever the warranty company paid them. I highly recommend you find another service provider. read more

First impression of the sink (618) was positive, I loved the quality and thickness of the glass, and compared to the others I looked at in local stores it seemed to be of similar quality (from what I could see in the online pictures). I figured I would give a local business a chance, and decided to take the plunge. The main selling point for me was the price, quite honestly. While I was somewhat hesitant, this seemed to be the best "bang for the buck" considering my limited budget. Especially so when compared with some other sinks I found that were about 2-3 times the price when checking out Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Once installed, I pretty much was sold on the sink. I can't say much for MR Direct customer service, as I had no issues, but I was able to install everything without incident by using the included instructions. While ordering and receiving my sinks was easy, when I had an issue they offered no assistance. I ordered a square under mount sink for my island. The sink cut out dimensions are 18"x17". The template which came w the sink has the image of the sink printed the wrong direction which means the whole for the sink was cut incorrectly. In order for the sink to fit the hole, the drain is on the side and not the back. I sent pictures to them of the template (w the sink printed the wrong direction) on top of the cut out sink and a picture of the installed sink. They told me they would take no responsibility and had done nothing wrong. This mistake will cost me a great deal of $ to fix. I purchased a sink from MR direct last year. The sink arrived when promised and in good shape. Then, a few days later, the calls began. The first call was the typical "are you happy with our service" follow-up. I responded politely that everything went well--thank you. In response to the second call, I explained that I'm generally pretty busy and that they didn't need to call me anymore. In response to the subsequent 3 or 4 calls, I asked that they please remove me from their marketing list and stop calling me. I then began hanging up when I noticed the Sylvania, Ohio caller ID address. Yet, they continue to call. Seriously. I received one today. I called back to again ask that I be removed from their marketing list. The customer service rep--her name was Amber--told me she'd have to talk to someone about it. I called back a few minutes later asking to speak to that person myself--his name was Ryan. I explained to Ryan--and I was angry-- that I was sorry I had done business with them, would never do business with them again, and wanted my name off their list. "We recommend not putting soapy water in the sink" was the reply from Erin the Customer Service Manager for MR Direct. You'll never guess why we purchased a beautiful copper sink for our brand new kitchen so imagine my surprise when I was delivered these completely idiotic words from this company. What did Erin think we were going to use the sink for? Decoration? Here is a definition just in case there is any gray area on what a kitchen sink is for and I quote from the dictionary: Kitchen sink (noun) 1. a sink in a kitchen for washing dishes, vegetables, etc Let's go back to the beginning shall we! My wife and I were so pleased with our purchase of our beautiful hand hammered copper sink, so when our general contractor finally put it in after a few weeks of washing dishes in the bath tub we jumped right in. She took out the green environmental friendly dish soap from Costco and proceeded to joyfully wash the dishes all the time admiring the craftsmanship of the sink. After the water was drained out of the sink, she noticed a white film where the water had been, completely covering the lower half. I told her that perhaps it was temporary and it would be gone by morning. Much to our disappointment the white film was still there (and is still there). Keep in mind that the sink did not come with any care instructions i.e., do's, don'ts, congratulations on your purchase and here is what you need to know. Zip, nada, nein, cipher. I called MR Direct right away and spoke with Dawn in customer service and explained what I was looking at and asked for her recommendations as I'm sure we are not the first to experience this. I receive a rather unexpected answer from her as well only not as ridiculous an answer from Erin the customer service manager. "Gee, you sure have hard water in California!" Huh? Yes we do have hard water but it's not so hard as to do this to a sink after just one sink full of dishes. (Anybody notice a pattern here?) It would be one thing if their website had a "How to take care of..." webpage. They do have one for cleaning which is absolutely useless of some arm and hand rinsing and wiping it down...no kidding unless you're an alien from another planet I'm sure cleaning a sink is pretty much done the same all over the world. Dawn proceeded to tell me to wait a week and see if anything changed. I agreed and proceeded not to fill up the sink, but use it just to rinse and clean the dishes off under running water. Bear in mind I live in California as Dawn stated and we are in a serious drought so leaving the water running is not exactly being a good steward of the environment. A week passes and nothing has changed except a few areas in the bottom which appeared to be recovering. I called backed as agreed upon and spoke with Dawn and sent her pictures of the still white sink. My wife and I at this point are feeling a bit of anxiety because the granite was being installed in a week and the sink will be permanently entombed between the plywood and granite of our 60k remodel. Absolutely no help, commitment, apology, recommendation, suggestion in any way shape or form. What a complete and utterly useless customer service department! Dawn told me she will pass my concern to Erin her customer service manager promptly. Concern is understatement - eff ewe!! Two days go by and no call back from Erin. After calling and leaving messages on Dawn and Erin's voice mail I receive a call from Erin three days before the point of no return on a solution. Talk about a completely worthless customer service manager. After explaining to her that we were hoping for a remedy of some kind as we very anxious for a solution as to getting rid of the white stain, and Brainiac sat on the other end of the phone completely silent offering no other advice, solution, remedy, how to, or acknowledged in any way shape or form a willingness to assist and proceeded to tell me in so many words, you're screwed. Better to remain silent lest you open your mouth and prove yourself a fool! Refer to the opening statement of my review if there is any doubt as to the intelligence of MR Direct's customer service department. They shipped the sink without any kind of protection. Almost felt like they just put the sink in the box and shipped it. My sink had multiple dents on the lip. I emailed customer service with some pictures of the damages last week to possible get some sort of refund and still haven't received any reply. I was going to recommend this to 3 other neighbors but not anymore. Update: I didn't get any reply or call or email until today 3 weeks later. original email was sent dec 22 and dec 27th. Your rep even verified and apologize that my email was overlooked. That is not accurate that I got a reply. I didn't get a reply until you contacted me on yelp today 1/11/17. I asked to cancel the bathroom sink but still want to keep my kitchen sink order. They said ok, we'll ship out your kitchen sink, but they didn't send me the tracking number and changed both items' status as cancelled in my online account. I thought that means they just cancelled both my orders and got my sink from a local vendor. Imagine my surprise when the order arrived in the mail much later. I called them to return the item, they said I didn't get a tracking number because they don't send out tracking orders automatically. I have to manually request them myself. Both items were shown as cancelled online because they manually created a new order for the kitchen sink. First of all, they didn't inform me of this "manual order" BS. Second, why isn't this new order automatically linked to my account? Third, it's unreasonable for them to expect me to request a copy of the new order myself when I didn't even know this new order existed (because they didn't tell me in the first place. DUH). Fourth, I never had an online site that expects the customer to manually request a tracking number for an order. Every reputable site I know sends a tracking number automatically once the the package is shipped. On top of all the mess, they also charged me restocking fee for returning the item and refuse to acknowledge their part in failure to fully inform the customer. This is a no brainier, but read their policies before you buy. After spending around $130 for my entire package I was reimbursed a total sum of $26 dollars after they deducted return shipping fee per item, a $7 "special packing" fee per item, and a 20% restocking fee. I'm giving it a one star because compared to other online retailers, their policies are excessive. We purchased a kitchen sink from MR Direct through their website. When it did not ship by their given ETA, I contacted customer service. I did not hear back, so I called again a few days later. I received a shipping confirmation the next day. When the sink arrived via UPS (nearly a month after purchase), we gave it to our contractor, who was then going to mount it to the quartz countertops they were installing for us. When they opened the box, they found that the sink had a huge crack in it, all the way down the length of the sink. They sent us pictures of the damage, which I forwarded to MR Direct customer service. They responded by saying that since the box wasn't opened in time for them to get their refund from UPS (14 days after delivery), they would not be issuing us a refund nor would they be replacing the sink. Make sure you do your homework before buying products from Mr. Direct. I purchased a granite deposit sink and when I received it I inspected an saw no damage. My plumber installed my sink and once installed noticed 3 stress fractures in the corners of the sink. I contacted customer service to report that my sink was defective and they informed me that I was past the 14 day return policy and there was nothing they could do, the damage was done by the installer. My option was to purchase another sink, sorry but nothing we can do. Was not satisfied with the response so disputed my credit card. When Tiffany returned my call she preceded to tell me again that it was the way the plumber installed my sink an he damaged it by tightening the clamps too tight. When my plumber installed our sink he had to pre-drill the wholes for the faucet and was not easy to do, product seemed durable so not sure how tightening the clamps would crack the sink the way they were tightened. If this is a problem as Tiffany indicated this is something they should inform the customer when during installation not to over tighten . I had the sink installed by a professional plumber and was advised that it was defective. This is my word against the Co. an beating a dead horse an accomplishing nothing. The staff all sounds like they are 25-30 year old college students working from home. Buyer beware, do your homework an as said in previous reviews can buy on Amazon an Wayfair. Guarantee if you purchased from either of those Companies they would stand behind the damaged sink. Live an learn. Sad that they won't stand behind their products! We purchased a granite vessel sink in 2015 for our bathroom remodel. Although purchased through Overstock, it is sold and shipped by MR Direct. They state it has a limited lifetime warranty. Within 3 years the sink developed a crack. I reached out to Overstock who directed me to MR Direct for a warranty claim. They asked for pictures and I sent three showing the crack. They quickly denied my warranty claim. I called them and they said "how do we know you didn't drop something on it". There is not chip or anything, just a 6" crack. We've washed our hands and spit toothpaste in this sink. That's it. I asked what is covered under the lifetime warranty. They said a manufacturers defect. Wouldn't you notice that before installing it? So the lifetime is up to when you take it out of the box and notice a defect. They are defaulting to the lowest form of warranty denial...that I may have broke it. In other words, they can deny every claim once you've installed it. Perfect business model. I own a small manufacturing company and when an end purchaser contacts us, we honor our warranty 100% of the time. The last thing I would ever do is accuse the customer of lying...which is what MR did to me. They said they would kick my complaint up to the "operations manager". Big surprise, never heard back. I wouldn't buy a sink sold by MR Direct. Look carefully as they sell through a lot of third party sellers. Overstock, Wayfair, etc. read more
