we came in at 9 PM to grab a bunch of lumber to build a shed. Yes I understand it was a little late but we didn't leave until almost 11 o'clock because no one decided they wanted to help us with loading just stood there and didn't say anything to us the entire time we were loading. The only thing helpful he did was show us what to grab he didn't count he didn't help with anything and then made smart comments because they were already closed at the time and then another guy came and took another 15 minutes to count all the wood when we could've already left and then right when we left when they said everything was fine The cops pulled us over and accused us of stealing the wood so unprofessional. come on where is her dignity? read more

Customer service at returns are above and beyond. I called yesterday bc I reached my 90day return with a vanity, last day was yesterday but there was no way I could have made it in bc of work. So I called ahead and this morning I was able to bring it in to the store, but the system was having a hard time figuring out the transaction since we had ordered it online. It was crazy and confusing but the manager and two cashiers worked together and we got it done. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Do not recommend for getting a shed, installations are 8 weeks out and communication for cancellation is zip. Will talk you over 2 weeks of repeatedly calling ti get it cancelled and they charge heavy on cancellation restocking fees. Even though no product ever is handed to the customer. Don't even try to call and get a manager cause they are all unsupervised there, cause there's no managers there at all. read more

Went in for plumbing parts to fix a busted pipe from a 130-year-old home with a horribly pieced together plumbing system. I am in no way a "handy man". While there, Josh assisted me. He was knowledgeable and was able to explain things in a way that even my novice ass could understand and get my project finished in the most cost effective yet correct way possible. So we spent 2 1/2 hours ordering roller shades for our new house. First, an ASM started helping us with the measurement issue visit. then she proceeded to pass us off on to the most friendliest associate I've ever met in a Lowe's store. Carol Welch in home decor checked and rechecked and rechecked our order that was quite large. she was determined to have this order correct and spent the time with us to make sure. She was amazing. she had not done many shades before so she was learning as she went along and she did fabulous!!!! Management in store was not much help so she called her boss at home and got the information she needed to finish the write up. I think management needs to know procedures to many scenarios but several did not. That's not saying much for their training As ASM's. She was the best and friendliest person in the store!!! Lowes payment terminals are "dumb terminals." They do not understand the concept of Google pay and Samsung pay... contactless payments that are supposed to be "tap and go" not tap, select credit or debit, pick up this filthy pen and sign this pad. In this era of Covid-19 we need contactless payments more than ever. Lowes needs to update their software/hardware to PROPERLY accept contectless payments, not bastardize the protocol by requiring you to touch that filthy terminal no matter what. Lowes does not stand behind what they sell and the have the worst customer service ever! We purchased a dishwasher that did not work on arrival. Called to have it returned and was then informed they won't take it if it's been more than 48 hours. I was never notified of that policy when I purchased it. My husband installed it after two days so this was only day 4? I explained I would be happy with an exchange for another brand as it ended up being the 2nd LG appliance I have purchased that was defective in the last 6 months. After that I dint want an LG. Lowes wasted 5 hours by giving me the run around telling me I had to get an RMA number for the return from LG. I was told this by 4 rude, unhelpful agents from Lowe's. After 45 minutes on hold with LG to obtain this RMA, I find out Lowes was lying to me and they are the ones who have to get the number. Contacted Lowes again and was transferred around back to LG, until Lowes closed for the evening. I would never recommend LG appliances and I will never do any business with Lowes the liars again. read more

I have been living in the area for the last two years and always come here for both my project needs and assistance. To say I am a novice In the realm of home improvement would perhaps overstate my abilities. Nonetheless there are two employees I want to single out (sorry I can't remember the names of the many, many other wonderful individuals who have helped me along the way also) their Bonny and Matt. In particular Bonny has helped me numerous times over the last few years in ensuring that I get the proper tools to get the job done properly in a very friendly, kind, and professional manner. I always walk away having learned something helpful whenever she assists me. Matt is cut from a very similar cloth as Bonny as he is also extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and above all very polite. The two of them have always taken a genuine interest in whatever my project may be and go above and beyond to ensure I am properly equipped with tools and knowledge to tackle anything from a leaky faucet to a hole in my foundation where those cute critters love to hangout in. I also had the pleasure of meeting Sabrina the other day for the first time and she, just like the other two, was extremely helpful and polite. Ignore the negative reviews, people who have positive experiences seldom leave reviews, yet people are quick with their fingers to trash a store for any inconvenience or slight they may have perceived. This is a wonderful small town store full of people who care, have the know-how and want to help. 10/10 will always come here for my home improvement needs. This Lowe's is getting ridiculous. I placed 2 orders online & they didn't have the 2nd order ready. More than likely the idiots thought i duplicated it instead of READING! That was a month ago. Right now there's an order for businesses to have every other register open. They had 2 registers next to each other open. I went in for ONLY for what I needed for the house unlike lots of others. Lowes wasn't keeping track of how many people were going in. Always a crowd at the registers. This is on April 30th. There was no lumber carts in the store. I had a deck done by the company. DO NOT USE LOWE'S AT ALL FOR HOUSE INSTALLATION PROJECTS!!! Some of decking workers they used, corporate person, Latasha, were horrible!!! I gave 2 stars because the cashiers are normally friendly. Placed an online order, Figured they could gather 59 sheets of OSB, 10 rolls of Insulation, 50 2x4s, and other dimensional lumber. They called 10 minutes later, they can't pull the lumber, due to it possibly warping before I arrived. When I arrived, the person at the back Pro desk told me where material was, never had any help loading and hauling my material out. I complained about service at "guard shack" and he made a note, said it had been an issue and would tell the store manager. . and some of the lumber was only good enough to use for bonfires... So at least I was able to sort through it. Next time, I'm going to Big C or Menards, never had a problem there with lumber orders. read more

This place is just like any other Lowe's - it's a huge store with tons of crap in it. Ha. The parking is ample and the service is fairly friendly. They don't have much in the way of lamp shades though (which is why we were there)... so if that's what your looking for (especially for larger lamps) best to head elsewhere. Otherwise it's your typical quality hardware store. Oh, I will mention that the area rugs are pretty good and very reasonably priced. We ended up with a couple of those... they got us! read more

Had a very bad experience at Lowe's of Adrian with employee named Jessica 2019 customer service in the garden center. We were inquiring about a patio furniture set and the first employee was very helpful and scanned the tag for us but it appeared that they had none left in stock, we then asked if we could purchase the display. This is when he went and brought Jessica, without saying anything to us, she handles the display sale plaque, peels off the sale price sticker (appearing to want to use it to scan or perhaps take it to another upper level staff) and puts it in her pocket. Jessica finally speaks to us saying, "It is not in stock and what sale/what sticker? There isnt one and that was last weeks." We called her out and said, "You just peeled it off in front of us". She responded flustered, as if she thought we wouldnt notice and said, "Well that was an old sale". We were then upset because it was on display and it should be validated due to their mistake, not ours. She then goes to customer service desk inside to inquire about getting the display at 10% discount instead. By now we were on our 3rd employee involved. Turns out it is on sale! Along with having more ordered! So essentially she was going to rip us off by over $100. On top of that they would not sell us a display for a discount price plus sale price due to that they had more ordered on it's way, after all of this.This whole situation could have been avoided if Jessica was never super shady to us, lying to us about a sale that was in fact going on. Along with hiding the sticker from future customers. We expected more from a "customer service" titled employee from Lowes and instead had one try to rip us off of $100. I am writing this review so that all future customers watch out for this employee and to check prices online in order to avoid being taken advantage of like this. read more

We moved to Michigan last June bought a house in August and remodeled the entire house with Lowe's products. Granted all did not go well but it was due the the installers contracted by Lowe's. Everything we had done except for one had issues. Lowe's management (Rodger) made sure that we were taken care of. Any issues were resolved in a timely manner and at no time did they make us feel like it was our fault. I am not easy to satisfy especially when we spent so much money but Lowe's made good on everything. There only issue is the installers they contract with. read more

They always have what I'm looking for and any time I've asked an employee where something is, they know exactly what isle it's in. I've never had to wait long in a checkout, and returns are easy.
