Prices for parts are what is to be expected for an LBS in light of online retailers edging out bike shops. When talking to service representative about a frame on the wall, I found some communications inconsistent with pricing realities, such as like talking about how much the paint job cost and throwing out rather high numbers. Not too big a worry though, as the frame was itself more or less correctly priced. Fair quality work is done here.

Had the salesperson (whom I won't name) told me I needed a better drivetrain and go higher, I would have done more research and found my way to an Endurance Bike. I went to another bike shop locally, and they flat out said their is nothing that could be done to upgrade the bike, get a better bike (ie Endurance). They sold me the closest bike to what they had for what I described, but they didn't talk thru all the options, and the salesperson telling me this was a performance bike with a Shimano Cues was not accurate: this was also the guy that said I would average 20mph, which I am lucky to do 16-17 mph. Unless you know what you want, they are not going to talk thru the options, they will just sell you a bike, even it is not right or the components are absolute junk. While I can't say don't shop from them, don't expect them to provide knowledge and direct you towards the right bike: thus the 3 star rating (kind of average).

He said that inner tube was fine and didn't need to be replaced. He had everything done in about 20 minutes. I love this place and am glad to give it 5 stars.
