    Clearly AC did not order part a week ago like they were supposed to!!  A very long process to get help with an expensive appliance

    I bought a LG refrigerator 2 years ago, the compressor went out already! Appliance center never tells customers they don't service LG, so had to wait for their repair guy to diagnose it because LG wanted $300 flat rate and who knows when they could get there, so AC nice guy, came diagnosed, said he would contact LG to send their service guy with the part and it would take 7 to 10 days, I finally called LG following wed, they had no "ticket" , call AC, they had to call again and get the appointment which is another 5 days!!!!! 2 weeks of no refrigerator, I'm not Amish for God's sake! Moral of story always ask if they service what they sell and never buy LG, bad product, and horrible service not to mention customer service at LG was awful!

    We recently purchased a new washer and dryer from Appliance Center in Maumee. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store and helped with good information, suggestions and examples by our salesman. After deciding the brand and models we wanted, we went to the billing department and were assisted with ease. Delivery date and installation was scheduled quicker than we thought would be possible. We live in a rural area and appreciated that delivery was not a problem. Previous to the day of the delivery we were called by the installers and given a window of time which they would come out. The installers were very punctual and removed our old appliances and brought in the new ones. They seemed to do that job effortlessly and even made sure to put pads down in the kitchen since the weather was nasty and they needed to go in our basement. The installers had no problems with the hookups although the dryer vent kit we purchased was smaller than needed so our old one was cleaned and used. We told them that would be acceptable. We were reimbursed for the dryer vent kit. I will be recommending Appliance Center and doing more shopping there. By the way, I saw some beautiful furniture on the floor so I will definitely be going back soon.

    Terrible service for paid warranty on Fridge & stove... all employees giving us no answers!! No more business from us! Awful service!!!!!

During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. ​ We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

    I paid $816 to have my refrigerator repaired by Mr. Appliance because food was freezing on the…read morebottom shelf. The technician came and replaced two parts. During the visit, he initially told me I would need to order those parts and that it would take two weeks to receive them, but then he said he had both parts in his car and replaced them. After he left, I noticed a lot of moisture on the top shelf of the refrigerator. I contacted the company several times, but they told me this was a different issue and that I would need to pay again for another diagnosis and repair. They had already charged $150 for the initial diagnosis, and later they asked for another $150 for a second diagnosis, saying the refrigerator was working fine when the technician left. I am disappointed that after paying $816 for the repair, the refrigerator still has problems and I am now being asked to pay additional diagnostic fees.

In July 2025, their technicians misdiagnosed my nearly 20-year-old dryer, assuring me the issue was a faulty coil valve. Based on that confidence, I paid $311. After the repair, the gas smell problem remained, and the techs admitted the diagnosis was wrong. They then suggested another $250 repair, which I declined. The part was removed, and I was told I'd get a refund. Instead, the office only refunded $55 for the part. I explained multiple times that I was willing to pay their $119 diagnostic/service fee, but not for a failed and reversed repair. That means I was asking for a fair refund of $192. With only $55 refunded, I am still out $137 more than is reasonable. Despite repeated calls and even sending a certified letter, I never received a return call from the owner or manager. The BBB confirmed they consider the matter closed with only the $55 refund. At this point, I am still out $137 with nothing to show for it--still a broken dryer and no resolution. This company misdiagnosed the problem, charged for work that didn't fix anything, and then ignored multiple attempts to resolve the matter professionally. I cannot recommend Mr. Appliance of North Central Ohio (Perrysburg).
