We plan to limit visits or eliminate visits in the future. (+) Wide selection of appliances including a luxury lit hen section. Also furniture, flooring and consumer electronics. You could refurnish a whole house with contents of the store. (+ -) Prices for some products are competitive but others higher. I have had positive experiences with Sales people here who appear to work on commission, where they engage to help if needed but then back away to give space to the customer to comfortable shop. (-) But recently I have really wanted to purchase and appliance from them but the sales experience was so aggressive and negative we removed them as an option for the purchase.

    I moved to NW Ohio in 2018. Shortly after, I called the Appliance Center and their technician came…read moreand changed the compressor on my fridge. I was happy with that service. In 2021, I remodeled my kitchen and bought my kitchen from their Maumee location. This time, they kept changing delivery dates and caused long delays in my project. I was mad but tried to be understanding given the pandemic. In 2025, the touch panel of the microwave oven they had sold me stopped working. I called them and explained the problem. They sent out a technician whose diagnosis after two minutes was (and I quote directly) "Touch panel failure". Duh! He then spent about 10 minutes on his computer and told us the part was not showing available and that we had to get a new unit. He did not take the microwave oven out of the cabinet, did not check whether the power was plugged in, did not open the back plate and look inside. He did nothing but try to use the touch panel. They he charged us $128.22 and left. Since I was busy at the time and had the old microwave that I could use temporarily, I postponed fixing the issue. Last week, I removed the microwave from the cabinet, opened the backplate and (after reviewing the user manual and watching a bunch of DYI videos on YouTube) figured that the internal fuse was blown. So I called GE parts hotline and ordered a new fused directly from the brand. After replacing the blown fuse, the touch panel lit up and the microwave oven started working. What bothered me was the fact that the technician had no interest in finding the cause of the touch panel failure and moved too quickly to advising us to order a new oven through them. Having fixed the problem myself, I called them up and asked to speak to the service department manager. I tried to explain everything chronologically but the manager was impatient, cut me off multiple times, and defended the technician's actions. He basically shut me down. I called a second time yesterday, hoping to talk to someone who cares about the Appliance Center's image, like the owners of the business. I was again routed to the service department manager, who repeated his earlier response. Not only the technician didn't do their job right for the price we were charged, but the manager was indifferent and uninterested in the experience that I, as a loyal customer, was trying to share with them. They lost me as a customer forever. I hope those reading my review will exercise caution when calling the Appliance Center for repair services.

    This is a sad tale of woe, so beware from buying from this store. I purchased first a freezer, then…read moreon a separate occasion, a floor-model range and refrigerator nearly one year ago. The freezer is fine, delivery was fine. The range and refrigerator delivery was ridiculous. Instead of showing up by 5 pm as promised, the two deliverymen came to my house at 10:30 pm on a Friday night! Whoever heard of such a thing! By the time they left it was 11:30 and they still had to drive back to Detroit. So whoever does the delivery scheduling has no idea what they are doing! The bigger issue is that whoever from the store that packed up the burner caps, grill plate and grills, had thrown everything into a plastic bag and every piece of metal got scratched. I had to request replacements for everything. In addition, the refrigerator handle to the bottom freezer had a big dent in the center, and so did the range handle. I requested replacements for everything. It took forever to get them! The burner caps, grill plate, grills and refrigerator handles took about two months to come in. Unfortunately, the refrigerator handle was stainless steel instead of brushed steel like the original was. The range handle took 10 months to get a replacement and that was only after I visited the store and bugged the manager literally every 3-4 weeks during that time. I did receive some compensation back, however, the entire hassle was not worth it. I will not return to ABC Warehouse, ever!

    We bought a set of appliances from Durochers about 3 years ago. Last September, our refrigerator…read morestopped working. During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. ​ We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

    They've spent millions of dollars pushing the "Pro Event" telling the Contractors that it was "Big…read moreSavings" & we could enjoy exclusive offers" We came in prepared to purchase an order in excess $25,000 and received NO offers, or Savings, as advertised! So we bought a few things to drink and munch on, (not even a free cup of coffee to the contractors that I mean this was a really cheap event for something that they spent so much money on. ) Home Depot should understand that the contractors NEEDED PRICE SAVINGS, NOT OFFERS! For all the buddy that they spent on the advertise he tell everybody how wonderful they were. They should've just discounted the product and let the contractors enjoy the profit that they so desperately deserve and works so hard for!

    I have been a HD fan for decades until yesterday. I purchased a generator online and had it…read moredelivered. I attempted to return it to the store as instructed for returns. Still strapped to the small pallet and never opened. I had my receipt, everything. They claimed a 7 day return policy change, yet everywhere I read online and on this order states I have 90 days. I returned it in 10 days. They could not get my return refunded back on my HD card and wanted me to take a store credit for $1100. I didn't need that. I have ordered many things online before from HD. After 2 hours they made me drive home to get my HDCC that I had forgotten. They couldn't look it up even. I finally got my refund to my HD CC, after driving 30 min back home. I will never buy anything again online or at this store. WARNING - their new return policy is 7 days, even though you will read otherwise. I should have purchased it through Amazon. And they wonder why they are losing business.

    I have had previous bad experiences with ABC Warehouse, but I decided to give them another shot…read more Last February, I ordered a washer and dryer from them (this being the "another shot"). I was scheduled for delivery, left work, and they never showed up. I called and they said I wasn't on the schedule at all. We rescheduled. I left work and waited. The driver called me from nearby to double-check that I actually wanted both an electric dryer and a gas dryer (which were the two items they had on the truck). Of course, that is not what I ordered, so they took both items back to the warehouse and rescheduled again. I left work and waited. I eventually called to ask where they were and they told me my appliances had already been delivered (on the day/time the driver called to ask if I wanted two dryers). Once I explained what happened (and they confirmed the situation as if I was just making it up to get another set), we rescheduled. Finally! I get my washer and dryer. It's been weeks, at this point. The washer didn't work from the moment it was plugged in. I called to let them know and they told me I had to go through the warranty company. I (very frustrated, already) called the warranty company. The agent I spoke to told me that is complete nonsense. They delivered a defective unit to me and I needed to call them back and demand a replacement. I did and they delivered a new one, with every person I spoke to along the way telling me how they were doing me a big favor...for replacing a defective unit they delivered to my house...RIDICULOUS! Well...here we are, just over a year later. The washer no longer locks or spins...and guess what? My warranty is up as well. I KNEW not to go back. I knew. Yet, I tried again. I am the queen of second (and third and fourth) chances. (That's why they didn't get a bad review a year ago.) Never again, though. I don't know how in the world they are still in business. I have not had a single good interaction with them. It CAN'T be just me.

He did not attempt to listen to a simple issue I was having and instead chose to bate me and make me seem like I was an idiot and upset me. Then he had the audacity to say to others at the store that he had dealt with me on a TV and that is why he treated me HORRIBLY. I have never had an issue with them in the past, and I have bought thousands of dollars' worth of items from them. Not just this, but I did not receive what I purchased. And they did not complete the installation as they stated they would. So, needless to say, my car started doesn't work correctly and they are unwilling to help!!
