I thought this was a reputable place since I have taken clothes there and have been pleased. Last year it was a little over a hundred. I thought that was much but they told me up front and I paid for it. They call me less than 7 days before the prom with an outrageous price of nearly $500 for a hemming. I am very disappointed. I will definitely have to take my services elsewhere. We gave them plenty of time to do the dress. It has not been touched and with less than a week when I need it you call me....please!! I told them I was picking it up on the 15th anyway. Cleaning you can go here but not for anything else. Hence the one star.

Garbage everywhere, folding tables dirty and nasty. Bags of trash laying all over in the back. I talked to the new owner personally and voiced that he would lose this business over a child running it and the filth. He rudely dismissed it. Well maybe he learned something. When your customers tell you there is a huge problem and you choose to ignore it, you no longer have a business.

Maybe there outta be different evaluation system when it comes to places like coin laundry. I…read moremean, really, what exactly are your expectations of one? A host with a nice smile? A lightning-speed table service? Fireworks and confetti? I say all this because I feel weirdly bad giving them 3 stars, yet I can't justify 4 or 5 stars because theoretically the place *could* get better. It's a coin laundry that does um...exactly that. You pick up your laundry from home -- in my case was my humongous comforter I can't fit in my own washer -- along with a bunch of quarters, detergent, fabric softener and go to work. Yes, they have a change machine. yes, they have a couple vending machines if you want to snack. Yes, they have a couple televisions playing whatever daytime shows are playing on your local station. Yes, they have bathrooms. They have an ATM, and they even had a couple of funky ol' looking video game machines.. Most machines seem to work fine, and it's not like there's litter all over the place. Honestly, it's every bit what you'd expect from a laundromat. Now. Could the place be maintained better? Yes. Could you give the place a bit more oomph and give a bit of sexiness to it? Sure. But who does that at a laundromat? I don't know, maybe there are some out there that are super clean and highly maintained. Maybe even offer better entertainment? A bar that serves cold beer? (I'm starting to imagine a Las Vegas-style place with lots of sparkles and slot machines along the walls... maybe the place exists afterall...) Anyway, I'm certainly not "a fan" at 4 stars, nor is the place "as good as it gets." But it's the closest one to my home, and as long as my wife insists on buying Alaska-ready super fluffy comforters, I'd be more than happy to drive down here to get the deed done. I just wish I could systematically rate them better than 3 stars.. Yelp, where's the suggestion box?

My sons and I went in to dry three loads of our wet clothing. It was not busy and we were able to…read moreunload our clothing quickly into dryers. We began cleaning out the lint from the dryer vents when an older white male with glasses and facial stubble yelled at me and my boys (10 & 12) to stop doing his job (cleaning the vents). I was shocked because the last time we were there the lady working had my boys helping with that. So, I had my boys finish cleaning it out so we could close the vent. However, we did not move fast enough for him and he decided to kick us out for not listening to him immediately. I said we were only trying to dry our clothes quickly, he didn't care and said we had to leave. Well, I put my boys into my car to keep them safe and I went back, put my money into each dryer and stood in front of the dryers while he swept the floor. When he saw me drying my clothes and still there, he said you are going to lose your money when the police show up. I wasn't worried about the money nor the police, we had done nothing wrong. 20 minutes later, TPD showed up and asked what happened..they could see the racist behavior the worker was putting out. My clothes had 6-8 minutes left to dry, but we had to leave because it is private property. The officers did try to get him to let us finish the cycles, but he was adamant that we leave. Unfortunately, we won't patronize this facility again because the service worker was very racist, bullyish, unkind, and rude. I hope that man finds peace in his soul because his spirit is very angry.
