Spend hours on hold trying to contact customer service. I have already paid for the tank to be filled and still haven't received my fuel. Currently on hold trying to get my fuel delivered and I've been on hold for over 2 hours. We went to American Freight after doing research for a new King mattress for our son's guest room…read more We were greeted by a young man who was doing a great job talking to us about mattresses in our price range and which met our criteria. An older man, presumably his manager, took over and tried to up-sell us. I was accompanied by my husband and son but I had done the research and knew what they had in stock. I told the older man that he would not be able to up-sell us because we had $600 to spend and no more. He continued and said he wasn't trying to sell us by showing us more expensive mattresses, he was trying to "educate us". I told him we had already made a decision. He then started throwing zingers at myself and my husband about "who controlled the money" and who was "the boss" and who held the "purse strings". My husband walked away and requested our first salesman to check other nearby stores for the mattress we wanted. He located one and we made arrangements for delivery but the older man never stopped making sexist comments such as "$600 and not a penny more", even while we were paying for the mattress. If you do decide to go to that store, be prepared for an older, sexist, "gentleman of color" to let you know he doesn't appreciate being "shut down by a woman". The mattress is lovely but we will never go back to that store.

Employees performed delivery of a new refrigerator and removal / disposal of the old refrigerator a week later. While performing this work, the employees negligently caused significant damage to my new flooring which was installed two weeks earlier. Specifically, as they removed the old refrigerator, they did not protect the new flooring and did not use an appliance dolly for proper and safe handling of the appliance. The appliance was dropped and two tears were left in the new floor. The owner said he would have someone out that afternoon or the next morning to look at repair. Nothing. When I called back, he said they would be here the first part of the next week. Nope. I spent over $7000 with this local retailer and I am not receiving any assistance with the issue that their employees caused.
