Grey Fox did my bridal bouquets and alter arrangement for my recent wedding. The staff were friendly and helpful in drafting up a quote and listening to my ideas. I was pretty flexible in my requests, wanted primarily for the floral colors to tie into my wedding day as a thematic accent. The staff was responsive throughout the planning process and requested fabric swatches in order to best match the wedding colors. On my big day, I was pleased with the overall effect of the arrangements. The colors were perfect; exactly what I was looking for. They photographed beautifully! I teetered between giving 3 and 4 stars here... I feel like cost/value was reasonable for the product. Unfortunately, I had to remove one star for quality/craftsmanship, as our bouquets were falling apart pretty badly after minimal handling. Several flowers were falling out of the bride bouquet following the ceremony. The stems also came loose from the plastic bases in making simple posing for photographs quite difficult in the end. read more

This place made me so angry. I was going to anonymously send my brother flowers because he was having a terrible week. I went here because their flowers and delivery charges weren't actually that bad, which is why they get two stars and not one. When I got there, I liked the store a lot - it was cute. First of all, I must have said over and over that the flowers were a surprise. The woman told me that they HAD to have his number so I gave it finally but insisted that they shouldn't call him ever. The woman went back and forth with me that they might need directions and I offered both my phone number and my mom's number (and wrote directly on the form not to call him). Then, I told them that he probably wouldn't be home. She freaked out and said they couldn't leave the flowers without somebody there. I argued again and said that I would take full responsibility if they were stolen and to leave them anyway. Regardless, they called him and asked for directions without calling me first. My brother was already in a bad mood and he said they were "clueless." Nobody was home so they DIDN'T leave the flowers and left him a note. After a ton of back and forth, they finally came back and delivered them on THE NEIGHBOR'S DOORSTEP. My brother had to go over to the neighbors and argue that they were his and get them back. After this experience, my brother was pissed at me and told me I wasn't ever allowed to get him flowers again because it was such a mess. And I'm never going to Grey Fox Floral again. It was such a nightmare dealing with them!!! read more

Sorry to read about the review above, but really that type of order should have been done in person if the reviewer was going to have so many restrictions. I have used Grey Fox many times (in person & over the phone) and have found the staff extremely easy to work with and have never had even a slight problem with them or an order. I love going into the shop because in addition to a wonder floral shop they have a large area devoted to what they call MICHIGAN WARE all item, soaps, bags, aprons, jewlrey all made by local artist.
