Without much hope of anyone being able to help me on such short notice, I called shortly before closing for a funeral arrangement for the very next day, after my initial order from another company was canceled last minute....without hesitation she said she could help me and then went above and beyond to help me get an arrangement as close to the one that had been cancelled. Right off US-12 in Saline is this very cute nursery and flower shop. I love the look of the wooden building, especially, and the selections is pretty good. Prices are comparable to other nurseries in the area, and they had a few sales running when I was there. I was looking over their plats of herbs, and I thought that $2.59 was a little high for the condition they were in- most were a little bedraggled. But their specialty is flowers, and the flowering annuals and perennials were looking good. read more

I ordered an arrangement through ftd that was supposed to be their top tier (exquisite) sized arrangement what I received was subpar in size. It was described as being approximately 20" tall by 20" in width the bouquet that was sent was less than 12" in width. I called to have a new arrangement sent out and was told that what I received was appropriate and refused to make a replacement. It has now been 5 days since the flowers were delivered and they are already wilted and three of the lillys never bloomed. I will no longer be dealing with ftd or Saline Flowerland. read more

Never been to the shop but the delivery is definitely SUB PAR. Was home during the 2x they attempted to deliver. The second 'attempt' the front door was even open. Can't rate the arrangement as I am still waiting for it. Called them directly to ask about when I'd get them today--asked about the attempted deliveries and why didn't the delivery person call my number on the order--reply: "I don't know what goes on out there on the deliveries". I came home on the 13th to a "missed you" flyer that asked me to call. I called the next morning-- the 14th, yes, the busiest day of the year-- and asked who ordered the flowers, because I could not think of anyone who might have sent them. I assumed it was an accident, and I wanted to confirm who the delivery was from, and the lady on the phone very rudely refused to give me the information. We arranged for delivery today, the 15th, and I had to rearrange my schedule to be home. It turns out the flowers are not even for me, which would have been resolved on the phone if the lady had taken the time to give me the information. read more

was sent a 4x5 tree as a sympathy gift from a group of people. Asked to return it for something more reasonable in size, since we had to move the tree to walk through living room. Business did not care to follow up, or make situation more palatable especially since i was also dealing with the death of my father. I drove plant back to the shop, they collected and pocketed the 90 spent by the group and I never got a replacement or phone call to resolve matter. The sad part is, is that in the spring I spend approximately 500 dollars on annuals. I asked if I could have a credit to use toward future purchases. I has about twenty plants sent to the house at this point. None mind you were so large as the one they sent. I will not support a local merchant based on this treatment and lack of care. I now take my business else where in the spring. I hope they are happy that they not only caused undo distress at a difficult time and lost a substantial amount of annual income from me. read more

I ordered flowers for mothers day from here. They did not tell me there were different sizes you could order and it looked NOTHING like the picture that was posted on the website!!! Extremely sparse and VERY overpriced for what I ordered!!!! Whomever does the flower arranging there needs to go take SEVERAL courses on how to arrange flowers and get a better eye for detail!! I ordered one from me and one arrangement from my sister because she is at basic training. I felt so ashamed of how they looked an like I let my sister down in ordering the flowers!! I had to buy a THIRD bouquet, buy a larger short square vase from a different florist, and use a different large round vase I had at home (thankfully) and recreate the arrangements for my mom!! I have never worked at a flower shop and have never taken a course on how to arrange an mine looked 1000x better than there's did!!! NEVER EVER get flowers from here!!!!! read more
