My back yard was something I wanted to help express my children and I. From the gorgeous patio ,complete with a fire pit and basketball hoop to the enchanted garden pathways and raised cedar planting beds my children and I will be able to create wonderful family memories in our back yard. kane came out to look at some trees in my yard that are dying. he talked a big game. never heard from him again.

Lotus provided great designs. Their project management was extremely poor. They destroyed our existing sprinkler system, requiring thousands of dollars of repairs. they also failed to provide weed barriers and advice to protect plantings from deer. I would not recommend their services. read more

I had been quite ill and had not been able to maintain my garden (7500 sq ft) for three seasons. I asked for help with weeding and mulching to bring it back. Someone came to look and said she would send me a quote. Six weeks and four emails later I said forget it. I got the feeling that since I had no need of a new design, she had no interest in sending me help. I don't appreciate being shined on like that. She could have been honest and said she wasn't interested in the job. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was gifted two front porch planters as a present. I moved here from California so succulents are really the only thing we are used to having. I asked the shorter lady with curly blackish hair for some advice on flowers. She said she had no annuals and no recommendations. I asked her to point me in the direction of some things that would work for a planter and she said "it's too rude to point" and she wasn't allowed to do that either. I thought she was joking but she wasn't. So I just told her I got the impression she didn't want to help me so I walked around by myself. I'm not the most savvy person when it comes to flowers so I really wasn't sure what I was looking for. When I went back to talk to her, I told her that she shouldn't talk to her customers in a degrading way and that she just lost my business. Her response: "perfect!" I am so confused how this woman is even in an industry where she works with customers. I will never again step foot in this place and I will be alerting all of my friends and family to do the same. It surprises me that there are actually businesses out there that are willing to lose customers because they have a terrible attitude and have zero interest in helping someone who has a few questions. read more

Two years ago we had them design a woodland garden. The process of planning with them was easy and enjoyable and they provided a top-notch design that addressed my desires and concerns. Although I consider myself to be pretty knowledgable and my son is a master gardener, it was a big scale project with lots of shade and under pines. I was very pleased with the design suggestions and we were able to execute planting ourselves. Ninety percent of what we purchased and planted from their design came back and looks very healthy. They cheerfully stood behind their guarantee of their plants. Stacy is quite knowledgable and everyone is very helpful. It is a very pleasant space and fun to browse for ideas. They are my go to place and carry a wide variety of stock. Lowe's and Home Depot are, at this writing, still adding bee killing pesticides to any plant they sell in their stores. Although they have reasonably priced nursery stock and are close to my home, I cannot contribute to bee colony collapse or endanger native bees further. read more

Hubby and I hadn't been to the garden store in quite some time as our yard and exterior spaces are pretty well stocked but we visited the store last week as we were in search of a garden flag holder. The store didn't carry garden flags ('pharmacies usually do' which is true) but we were carried away with the amazing stock of, well, everything! Now the store carries everything you need for a water garden too. They have unique flowers, garden vine stakes/statuary, and everything a person needs for a fairy garden as well. The woman who helped us was friendly and fun. We will definitely be back to purchase some glass art for our deck and vine stakes to replace older rusted ones in our yard. read more

Had the unfortunate experience in doing business with Lotus Gardenscapes. My wife and I had Wade design and blueprint our dream deck which turned out to be a bad decision. Upon completion, Wade presented us with our "deck packet"-a beautiful rendering of our deck on the front page with corresponding blueprints to follow. After paying, little did we know, Wade left out a critical area that was depicted in his rendering, but not in the blueprints provided. When notified of this, we were told that if we wanted this crucial design/structural element to our deck (which was a part of the design we agreed upon), we would have to pay for his services again and wait months as it was their busy season. As this was not acceptable, I reached out to the owner Traven in hopes of a resolve but with no luck. So we went to an engineer to have the missing blueprints drawn up. We were told that it was a good thing we did not use the plans we were given as it would have been a "house of cards scenario" if built. If you do decide to do business with them be prepared for poor customer relations from their employees and owner. Throughout the design process while dealing with Wade, we were amazed that a grown man could have such childlike tendencies. From heavy sighs and whining when asked to change/add something, telling us he didn't think we were good for the money we owed, to literally screaming at you over the phone and hanging up. I recall Wade asking me for an early payment outside of our agreed upon terms in which I reluctantly accepted and gave him my credit card. He told me the secretary was busy doing payroll and didn't want to bother her so he was going to take down my card info on a scrap sheet of paper and process it later. When I refused, it was quite comical as he stormed out of the conference room in a tantrum to have my card ran... I could keep going, but I'm sure you get the idea. The moral of the story is don't do business with Lotus Gardenscapes unless you are good at dealing with children and don't care about your money or quality of work provided. read more

This place is amazing! I love what they have done with the old barn, turning it into an art gallery; displaying different artists every couple months. They have the cutest little shop and an awesome display of flowers and plants. I would go check this place out if you have not already! read more

Wonderful people who really care about their customers and stock. Knowledgeable staff who are not afraid to say "I don't know but will find out. " Much better to hear that then get the wrong information. Love the sales and local flavor. read more

I went in there with high hopes, because everything in the display area look beautiful, clean, and really professional. Do you so should I spoke with couldn't answer any of my questions, and seemed irritated to have to talk to me. I didn't asked to speak with someone else, and this company is master horticulture a list answered my questions. I told her what I was looking for, she said she didn't have it but could make a few calls to see if her wholesalers might be able to deliver, and I think her and promised her I would pay whatever price she thought was fair since she'd have to make A few phone calls to get the item. I also told her I was in a real bind, and was under the clock. She shook my hand, thank me for coming in, and promise to call. That was two months ago and never heard from her. I don't think they're looking for new customers. Found the product and a lot more attention and customer respect from one of their competitors. read more
