Sloppy, unprofessional work by an inexperienced crew with no supervision. Our contract was to construct a 2-ft wide paver walkway with 1-ft borders on both sides for planting. What we got was a wonky path of variable widths its entire length. Other mistakes were made; too many to list here. Overall very unhappy with end result. Their quote guy came out, spent 45 min with him. Before he left I said, "hey, aren't you going to measure the sq feet of pavers the job requires to get a quote together?" Rather than saying that he (the company) did not want to quote the job (maybe it was not something they wanted to undertake as it was a fairly large job) he said I can use a satellite image to get the measurements ...what a bunch of BS, there is no way he can measure that accurately with any non-military grade image from space. Hired Brian's Services to do spring cleanup of our 0.75 acre Dexter property. I had concrete blocks that I wanted laid into a steep hillside for getting up and down more safely and easily. He and his crew did a great job. 11/14/2014 Update; Brian stopped by our house to follow-up regarding the issues we had with the lawn. He apologized for the quality problems and explained that others had issues as well. When he learned about issues with other customers, he was able to improve the situation. If you are going to use Brian's Service, just be sure you communicate and give him a chance to fix any problems that you might have. Giving another star because he stopped by and made a sincere effort and explained his business. 11/3/2014 Update; increased our rate the second year by nearly 15% and subcontracted the work out to others. Lawn was often scalped and tire burnouts everywhere. Final cut of the year was by far the worst, no trimming and burnouts galore. We will not be using his services again next year.
