The first batch of trees planted didn't take well and they all turned brown fairly quickly. Without me even saying anything, Brad completely dug them up and replaced them with trees that are doing much better. They are also warrantied for a full year. They also did some work laying mulch and sectioning off a couple areas in our backyard which has held up very well. They have showed up every week to mow the lawn and I have not had any complaints. They also have great prices! I had a different local landscape company come out to quote just regular lawn maintenance and Saline Lawn Care was $8 less per visit than the local competitor. I would definitely recommend, and I plan on continuing to use them for years to come.

I don't even want to think about all the work that must have gone into that one. Anyway, they did a great job at what I thought was a good price. They were also very patient with me in getting the job scheduled, as there were multiple delays on my end in preparing the site for them to work. A guy at work had recommended The Lumberjacks to me and I would fully recommend them to anyone else looking to get some tree work done.

I've had a bunch of tree work done over the years, and what I have come to learn is there are a lot…read moreof different ways to tackle the problem of removing trees and branches. My experience has ranged from a single guy with ropes and a chainsaw, to a dozen men with heavy equipment deployed by a general-like figure barking orders and managing the job. The one redeeming part of my experience with The Lumberjacks was that they were able to get my large dead tree removed relatively quickly in the midst of a global pandemic. Originally it was going to take several weeks for them to arrive. But when I asked if there was any way to expedite the process, I was told "yes" if I was willing to pay a rush charge of $50. On a job that was going to cost over a grand, that was the bargain of the decade. The Lumberjacks brought a three person crew along with a lift that looked a little bit like a tank. We walked around the property to talk about other work I wanted done beyond the tree removal, and was quoted a price on the spot. I agreed, and the crew spent the rest of the day cutting wood. After they were done, I asked to be walked around to inspect the work. What I didn't see at the time was the damage that was caused to my property. I spoke to someone at my insurance company. They told me to call the tree trimmers. After calling The Lumberjacks to discuss the matter, I was unceremoniously directed to some fine print on the bottom of the estimate that said the company was not responsible for damages, or some such. Well, that just sucks. Now, by solving the problem of the dead tree, I have another problem to solve. And we're still in the midst of a global pandemic, which just makes everything harder. This was not the kind of experience that would encourage me to call The Lumberjacks again if I need additional tree work, nor would it give me the confidence to recommend them to others. I'm sure they work on lots of houses without doing damage. I'm sure mine was a rare fluke. And ultimately, it's less about the damage itself than it was about how this unfortunate situation was handled.

They were very reasonably priced and delivered the best compost blend I have found in the area--litter free and beautifully loamy! We got 5 yards and had it delivered to the house. Clearly our plants are LOVING the soil/compost. FYI--any litter you see on top of the soil in the photos is from our trees, not the soil.

They came out and removed two trees that were too close to my house, a 60 foot pine, and a 30 foot magnolia. Both required expertise to remove safely. They did an excellent, and efficient job and cleaned up around the areas beautifully. Because it was winter with a lot of snow on the ground, the big pine had more straggler roots than were visible with the initial stump grinding. When I realized in spring-time there were more roots to grind out I called Greenstreet back to ask if they'd come out and finish removing the pesky pine roots - they were out the next day! No questions asked and of course, no additional charge. Excellent service. Thank you again!

Everyone I dealt with - Raell, Kane, and Gordon - made it clear that they took it very seriously and readjusted their schedule to ensure that it was taken care of as soon as possible - two days after I accepted their estimate. Because access to the back (fenced) yard was very tricky (another company wanted to drive over my neighbor's yard and take part of the fence down) they were able to bring a large machine that parked in my front yard and skillfully reach over the house to cut it down and remove the wood over the roof (!). They had both trees down in one day, with no damage, and all through the process they were very concerned for my safety and convenience. It was not the cheapest estimate I received, but I definitely felt more confident in their capability to do such a complicated job and I felt all through the process that I was in good hands. I definitely recommend them.
