Just came out to the house today to spray for bugs. I have two kids and the wasps this spring started strong. They came out and told us a bit about what they would be doing. Bought a tree from this tree farm. We were driving on our way to Adrian and we saw this tree farm that stood out to us, so we popped in and took a look around and checked out all the type of trees they carry. Service was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The selection was nice and it's a pretty good size tree farm. ALSO they don't return the calls. We called se real times to check on the status of our tree and we didn't get a returned call. The reason I'm giving it a three star and not a five star, is bc when I walked into their sales office I walked right back out. I could not stand the smell in there. It caused me a headache and a mild migraine. Now I know it's a tree farm but please freshen up or open a window. The landscaping guys that installed the tree were friendly and professional. They diged the hole by hand and were so nice to use the plug to fill in a piece of grass area that was burned due to a previous project. They even complimented me on my garden space. I was a little surprised that they only did a small radius whole when the tree we bought back in November from another land scaping company was prepaired with a wide radius and they topped it up with thick mulch and the mulch they added from Underwood's was a lot thinner. That was another thing that made me wonder on the extra stars. Other than that they do carry a lot of trees and bushes. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. They planted a tree two years ago, and it died within a month. A year later, they finally replaced it, and the new one died within two weeks. We followed exact watering instructions. When I contacted them, they just gave me the run around. The dead tree has now been sitting in front of our house for a year. When I call Underwood and leave a message, they don't return my call. This lack of response and customer service is unacceptable. read more

Not sure if short handed or poor customer service-four phone calls, over a 10 day timeframe, with messages left for "Jana" in Landscaping and no return calls. On last phone call, even told the person answering the phone who was re-directing my call that "Jana" was not returning calls and sent my call to her voice mail again. Ugh... read more

Never really had an issue with Underwoods Nursery. They put it in our irrigation system and we purchased several trees and had other services. We recently purchased two trees. One a paper white birch and a London Plane. Recently we had a storm that broke a huge branch . We had been told by a foreman who was giving us an estimate on a future job when he brought to our attention that there was a fault line in the tree. Anyway we have tried several times to get a response about the tree . We were told that someone was going to come take a look that was over a week ago. We have left messages to the salesman Scott and have heard nothing. We left the branch until today since it ruined my peonies and the grass was dying with the branch laying there. My dissatisfaction is the lack of communication and customer service from this company. I am seriously thinking that this is not the company I want to work with in the future. read more

We had Underwood's sod the entire yard of our new home. We could not be more satisfied! Scott kept us informed of what and when certain steps of the procedure would be done. He was always spot on and a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with our showpiece lawn! read more
