He is VERY nervous around water, perhaps from a negative experience in his previous home. I explained his situation to them when I arrived, being that he will try to jump out of the bath, and having a bad leg, they needed to be cautious. The front desk guy was VERY kind, and listened to all I had to say. When I pick my Great Dane up, he was so happy! He smelled great and was all about the gal who brought him out! She said he was great and even got a treat afterward. My Dane took a liking to one of the other guys there, which tells me that they treated him very well. I wish I knew the girls name who brought him out and cashed me out because she did an excellent job in explaining how this visit went! I will definitely be returning to Pampered Paws!

To make matters even worse, the staff in the back started mocking her loudly and indiscreetly. This wasn't just bad service--it was downright cruel and humiliating. My girlfriend was heartbroken, and we didn't even let them touch our dogs after this appalling experience. If this is how the owner behaves, I can only imagine how poorly trained and unprofessional the rest of the staff must be. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your pets and want them treated with kindness and respect.

They asked that I hang around since it was here first time there. All in all, it took around two hours, so I got a chance to interact with the staff. They did a very thorough job on all of the animals. It's a bustling place and there seems to be a lot of regulars there. I called for a private training and we were so blessed to find John. John was so patient with Max (a mini dachshund who thinks he's a big dog.) His fear free methods of training put us at ease right away. Max went from being scared of John in our first training to wanting to please him very quickly. John spent time going over our concerns and provided us with the tools necessary to keep Max just a little calmer (which, if you know Max....is no easy feat.) John's post training emails included reviews of our training, handouts on what we talked about, and homework to work on. I recommend Let's Train to everyone. The last time he was there he was overwhelmed and was trying to get out according to the staff. My dog normally goes to Rover Come Over on week days and I am aware that my husky gets overwhelmed with other dogs sometime, so the staff at rover just separate him from the other dogs for about an hour and he's fine for the rest of the day. At pups paradise they told me he has too many behavioral issues and needs to be put on medication or they can't take him. I'm not putting my dog on meds because they don't want to deal with him. Sounds like they throw the dogs in and don't care about them at all.
