Went there last week and got 2 stale bagels for over $10. Very disappointing for price and quality.

The bacon and chive cream cheese is some of the best I've had!! Quality bagel place for the area, I'll be back!

I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!

The service was very good though, and even as busy as it was our waitress was in a good, friendly mood and didn't hover around our table like at some other places. The food, or at least what I ordered was alright, I've had better. I had twelve of the carribean jerk, dry rub chicken wings and they came out a bit overdone, almost burnt. All the other food we had was good though, the pizza and the pastrami sandwich my mother ordered were fantastic (to use her words). I'll go back at some point and give it another go, but for now I give it a three out of five.

My girlfriend had marinated steak tips and garlic mashed potatoes. Her mashed potatoes weren't all that mashed and the steak tips were nothing special, but OK. My salad was cold, crisp, and a nice portion and the ranch dressing was creamy. The Rachel was delicious, especially the marbled rye, but I have to take issue with the hand-cut fries. The first batch came out hammered, so I asked to have them replaced. When the second batch came out no better, they said all the fries were coming out like that because of the potatoes they were using. No, they came out like that because the oil in the fryerlator was old. Our waitress was very apologetic, but offered no compensation of any kind. Not a different side, not comping or giving me a discount. Color me wrong if you want, but when I order food at a restaurant I expect better. Needless to say I won't be going back anytime soon.
