This is the place you want to be for fresh baked bagel's! They offer some outside seating and additional parking in the back. They have a weekly special flavor of cream cheese and bagel, but sell out fast. Check them out!

Sebagel could not be in a better physical location! About three miles from the turn onto State Park Rd heading into Sebago Lake, you're going to want to stop here before heading to the beach for the day: the bagels are fresh! the coffee is great! the service is outstanding! While the space is obviously new and sparkling clean, they've done a good job making it still feel somehow like an old Maine cabin. Always appreciate a map highlighting all the local vendors a business uses, and currently Sebagel is supporting a whole bunch from literally one end of the state to the other! I've had the Everything and the Rosemary-Sea Salt: 1) THANK YOU, Sebagel, for adding seasoning/flavor to both the top AND bottom of the bagel. Why don't more places do that?! 2) The Everything bagel is more onion-y than others I've had. Not a bad thing! It's fun that everyone's Everything is unique, but a heads-up in case you're onion sensitive. 3) My partner loved the bagel texture, he thought it gave "pizza dough" vibes. Do with that info what you will. 4) They currently are offering an unflavored Kite Hill as their vegan cream cheese option for non-dairy folks. It would be nice to see them invoke the old Maine Bagel (RIP) approach and offer plant-based cream cheeses that they themselves add flavor to: a chive, a veggie, a chili crisp, etc. 5) Skip the cream cheese per bagel, and order it by the tub if you like your spread embarrassingly thick (... I do, so no judgement). It's a better deal anyway. Pretty good bagels, friends.

Fresh and delicious! This homemade bagel shop is a hidden gem. The bagels are perfectly chewy with a crisp crust--everything tastes fresh and made with love. Definitely worth the stop!

Rosemary sea salt bagel with plain cream cheese.

Quick and friendly service and some of the best bagels I've ever had! I had the rosemary sea salt and my fiancé had the everything. We will definitely be back to try some of the other flavors. Happy to see this option in the Lakes Region.

Such a unique flavor for a bagel, and the chewy yet crispiness of the bagel is something I'll be coming back for!

Let's start at the beginning- Just because the roll-down…read moredoor is closed doesn't mean the bagel shop is closed. That was my first error as I went by this place a handful of times. It's wasn't until I saw someone emerge from the double doors to the left of the roll-down that I realized that the business was open. Not that they need any help getting people inside (it was HOPPING) but a sandwich board outside perhaps would show that the business is open inside? I went in and immediately everyone was friendly and chipper. Ordering was simple enough but be prepared, they sell through some things, understandably as this place is very popular. I got an espresso and a toasted herb bagel with plain cream cheese. Ive been all over Bath, Brunswick, Rockland, and Camden and was convinced that the New Englander's palates were shot. Not a single business has served me a decent espresso. Not a single one until I stopped at Dutchman's. FINALLY a bright, clean shot that doesn't taste like someone put a cigar out in it. Everyone needs to take notes. THEN we get to the bagel....didn't think I was about to have the best bagel of my life, yet here I am. Light, toasted, slightly chewy but not heavy... jeez. Can we talk about the space? It's gorgeous. Airy, cool, industrial...but the people running it make it feel homey. We can talk about the restaurant they're putting in next door too but let's be realistic, if they use any of the blueprint they're currently operating off of, they're not going to have any issues (Omg the pizza oven!) The view alone will stop you in your tracks. I'm all in on Dutchman's. I bought the merch. I have a tee shirt and a beanie and the only reason I don't have a hoodie is because they were sold out in my size. What else is there to say... 10/10 No notes.

The space is very unique, a very comfortable, open place to enjoy some coffee and a bagel. The bagels were decent for the area, but not my favorite type of bagel (a little bready). I thought it was a little pricey for what I got, but with a line as long as it was, Dutchman's can justify the prices. I'm picky when it comes to bagels, so my rating is reflective of that. I am of the opinion that New York/New Jersey bagels are the pinnacle of the bagel world, and the further away from New York you get, the harder it is to find somewhere that gets close to meeting that standard. I'd still stop by if I'm in town again, as long as I get there before the big morning rush. Not sure it would be worth the 20+ person line.

I would be giving this a 1-star if it was purely based on the staff interaction alone. Tell me why the tween at the register closest to the entrance when we ordered a little after 10AM today is smiles for miles with me, but when my wife asks if they have lattes or flavored coffee, this girl gets short with her? Also we really need to drop calling women "ma'am." I have not met a woman that likes that. So when this tween says "no ma'am we don't" in an annoyed tone with her how do you think she took that? My wife is 26 for context- so why some girl that is probably only a few years younger thinks that is appropriate is beyond me- it even made her cry after the interaction. In all my years of customer service I have only called women "miss." So anyways- this girl was rude and she should learn that you have to treat all parties equally- man or woman, and let them ask questions without being rude. You are a cashier- that is part of the job. If the business cares to track this, I have attached a photo of the receipt for you so that you may tell this girl that sort of behavior, no matter how large or small the interaction, really put a damper on someone's day. Think before you speak.

This bakery-café…read morehas quickly become one of my favorite destinations I'd happily drive hours just to visit again. The breads and pastries here are absolutely outstanding. Their Anadama bread was rich and flavorful, with a perfect crust and texture that kept me coming back for more, and the sourdough bagels were simply too good to pass up ; crisp outside, chewy inside, and full of character. Every bite feels like a celebration: flaky pastries, artisanal naturally leavened bread, and thoughtful flavor combinations that make it a true bakery destination. The coffee pairs beautifully with the baked goods -- and they even sell locally roasted coffee from a woman-owned roaster in nearby Greenwood, which adds a wonderful Maine-made touch to the experience. Service is warm and friendly, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes you want to sit down with a latte and savor every last bite. If you ever find yourself in Bethel, this gem of a bakery is absolutely worth the trip -- it's one of those places that leaves you already planning your next visit.

The ham and cheese croissant lacked the laminated layers we expect from quality croissants - and was almost overcooked. This one was a miss. The savory tarte was OK but lacked depth of flavor. Some herbs and acid would have helped offset the salty cheese. Overall a quality spot we'd definitely return to if again in the area.

I had wanted to add pickled onion but saw it was $1.95, so I skipped that. We both got sea salt bagels, cream cheese-requested on the side, and add ons of bacon, at $2 each bagel. We received 1 bagel with bacon. Cream cheese was on the bagels and it was very little, parts of my bagel had no cream cheese at all. I guess that's why it wasn't on the side because then it would have been a decent amount. I kind of feel bad writing bad reviews and complaining, but I tipped them 15% and everything is so expensive now (ie. the pickled red onions). The bagels were $7.90 each for a bagel, very minimal cream cheese and bacon add on. I was going to leave 2 stars but the bagels were edible & 1 of the bagels was almost the correct order, & when my husband called & told them, they said they would refund our $2, so I landed on a 3. Hopefully we do get the refund because we don't have it as of writing this. I just wish I could re-do the tip amount. It's like giving a reward for not doing your job-anyhow, check your orders before you leave! Even though we live in Biddeford, we will be getting our bagels at Forage in Portland in the future.
