Friendly, attentive service and the Pho Tai Bo Vien ( Vietnamese noodles with beef slices and beef meatballs) was very good. Key is having quality meat and fresh ingredients. The egg rolls were small (4 to an order) but very tasty. I rather have less food with better quality then the large breaded egg rolls that you find in Asian buffet places. The Goi Cuon (rice paper wrapped with shrimp,vermicelli noodles and iceberg lettuce) was ok, not my favorite. The rice paper was hard and I would suggest any other leafy vegetables than the the ice berg lettuce. The Crispy stir fry chicken dish is worth the wait...Nice portion size with white rice, crispy chicken sautéed in a brown sauce with onions, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower. I was not at all impressed with either the service or to food. I arrived a little after seven and seated myself as no staff were in the dining area. I was asked to move to the other side of the room which I realized later was to facilitate preparations for closing. I ordered and my food (stir fry beef vermicelli)which came out pretty quick but was lacking the cilantro and the noodles were mushy. I picked up a phone order today. Ordered two items, their chicken pho and some spring rolls. I got home and to my excitement the spring rolls were missing. Turns out they also gave me beef! Batting 0 for 1000, I called to see how to get a refund for this food that was clearly meant for someone else. After speaking to the lovely host, she transferred us to the manager. He wanted us to bring the food back. Did he want the food back to give it back to the original customer? Did my order already come back from another customer, and was he going to give us his? It probably would have been more hygienic to just drive to the other customers place and just swap them. We can trust the other customer right? Maybe more than MPM Pho.... The Manager did not process a refund. He wanted me to pick up new food. This error was their fault, they should have delivered the right food AND if management was professional, they would also have refunded the order! I will most certainly not be returning and hope that readers will listen to this post. Buyers Beware. read more

Never have I ever seen any pho place that would combined meat and soup for a take-out order. This is the worse possible combination and ruined the freshness of the meat altogether. By adding the meat and soup together, they overcooked the raw beef steak that was supposed to be cooked once we poured the soup over our noodles before eating it. And it also reduced the amount of the given soup, thus making the pho bowl look disappointing and not even mentioning the broth itself. Just one look, and I knew its depth of flavor is super lacking. How could a pho broth be green? For such a low-quality pho, charging $14 a bowl is even more appalling. As a full Vietnamese, raised and born, and someone who had a bowl of pho at least once a week for over 20 years, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

PARKING Shouldn't be too difficult to find. This place is in a plaza next to other restaurants and stores, so though you might not find princess parking there is plenty of places to park if you're willing to walk less than 2min. INSIDE From the outside it doesn't look like much because the exterior is the same for the whole plaza. On the inside is a whole other story! Super clean/modern tile on the floor. Very spacious, bathrooms shared the same decor and extremely clean! Clean af modern bathroom nice FOOD I ordered the combination pho. Pretty good! Only 2 complaints, I wish the broth was hotter temperature wise, and the onions were cut thinner, if you've been to other pho places you know what I mean. Meat to noodle ratio was almost 2-1 and I'm not even mad. Beefballs were really delicious and so was the tripe! It was tender and not overly chewy Also got the fried egg rolls. Pleasantly surprised by MPM Pho. I'm accustomed to getting my Vietnamese fix someplace else, because Flagstaff options have not been great. First impression--I agree with the other reviewers that said the place was very clean. Major plus, considering the other pho place on this side of town! My experience (twice) with the service staff was very positive--friendly and helpful. Most important, though, the food. Pho broth had good flavor and clarity. Garnishes are a little skimpy at lunch, but take out portions were generous. Spring rolls were well formed and a good balance. Stir fried beef with vegetables I could have skipped, but that was my back up dish in case my son didn't like the pho. Luckily, I have created a new pho fan in my son, so we won't have to order the rice dish again. Definitely the best option for Vietnamese in Flagstaff. read more

Made an impromptu decision to go to Flagstaff after the Grand Canyon so we can grab some pho after being trapped in a random snowstorm. I was really disappointed with this place considering the high ratings. First, the service was really slow and I couldn't believe we waited at least 20-30 mins for pho - the broth should already have been made. The broth wasn't great and the meats provided were not as fresh. Considering that we were all super hungry and we didn't think it was great, says a lot. The bowl of pho about $12 for a really small portion. We also had shrimp spring rolls and the peanut butter sauce it comes with was really watery (not okay). Then, we waited awhile for the bill. There seemed to be only worked and he didn't look too happy. Not really an authentic restaurant in my opinion. But considering the area, this may be the best option. read more

The staff is always so sweet and speedy while being very caring, they remember my order and greet me with a smile every time! I always get the spicy tofu stir fry, the vegetables are fresh and flavorful with the most amazing sweet and savory sauce and fried tofu. It's very consistent and I can't get enough of it! As far as atmosphere, this is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. Very clean and comfortable environment with nice calming music. Very good pho! It is about time. The place was very clean and our waiter was nice and friendly. I think because of the time of day 3pm he was also our cook, but he did a good job juggling the kitchen and the customers. I was a little disappointed when he told us they were no longer serving the pho with tripe and tendon because the locals didn't like it. Shame on whoever these "locals" are. Live a little for goodness sake, people have been eating these parts for centuries. He substituted an absolutely delicious beef rib. In fact I will probably order my pho with just those ribs, scrumptous! My only complaint would be with the garnishes. We were given a few slices of jalapenos and 3 quarters of limes on a small plate hardly enough for both of us, and a very small portion of sriracha and hoisin in a separate saucer. The bean sprouts (a lot of them), half of a green onion, and a little cilantro were ALREADY in our bowl. WHAT!!! PRE-GARNISHED PHO, SAY IT AIN'T SO! I do know that is how they do it in some places so I am really not that upset. I get that there may be some waste, especially if the "locals" are already complaining about tendon and tripe, but c'mon. It is not pho unless I get to choose how much and when I add the condiments. Sprouts, THAI BASIL (which was suspiciously missing altogether), limes, various chiles, onion, cilantro and sawgrass should be ON THE SIDE. Sriracha, hoisin, and fish sauce ( fish sauce also AWOL) should be in bottles on the table. Now that I got that rant out of my system, I need to say the broth really didn't need anything, it was a perfectly spiced rich broth with a lot of depth. My only other problem was we asked for chopsticks but they never arrived, it was fine I can twirl a fork. Overall I will definitely return. My complaints are very minor and maybe they were just low on herbs that day or maybe the cook/waiter wasn't used to plate setup. First visit to this establishment since I don't live in Flag. I chose this place based on Yelp reviews and gotta tell you that there were a few dissapointments. First, I ordered the Seafood Pho, that normally comes with only calamari and shrimp. Today, they were out of calamari and added a few extra shrimp in exchange. The soup was pretty good but, lacked a full body experience with more seafood, veggies etc. I felt like that compared to Pho in Seattle, this was a little bit of a dissapointment and the price was about $4 too much for what you receive. The 2nd dish ordered was the Stir fried egg noodles with pork and veggies. The food was good but, lacking a decent portion of egg noodles and I was forced to pay extra for more. My overall suggestion is that I would recommend the food but, if you are really hungry, make sure to order complimentary items to go with your food or, you will leave hungry. I've avoided pho for a really long time. I've had a few bad experiences and the last one had me kneeled over the toilet in NY. It's been 6 years and I was ready to try pho again. I ordered the pho tai nam as did my partner. Let me just say, the flavors were amazing. It was so delicious. The broth. The delicious broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly (not bloated at all). The beef was thinly sliced and flavorful. The added bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime and cilantro brought the pho together so nicely. The only complaints I have is that the broth is a bit too salty and I would have loved it to be spicy. The staff is super friendly and actually smiled upon greeting you. It was my partner's first time trying pho, and they couldn't be happier with their experience eating it. I would definitely go again. Driving through Flagstaff and saw a sign for Pho! Say what?! Been in AZ for 4 days now and had to get my Vietnamese fixed on. Silly that I go into pho restaurants but rarely ever order pho. So...ordered myself ginger chicken with white rice. Authentic Vietnamese dish and boy was it delicious! The sauce had a perfect amount of ginger taste that wasn't overwhelming. Complimented the rice very well. I literally devoured the whole meal to myself as you can see from my photo ;) The 4 stars is because bf ordered the chicken pho and the broth was sweet.
