I stopped by Go Sushi after craving some miso soup. I ended up getting a few items, miso, edamame, a salmon hand roll and the TNT. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The TNT roll was definitely on the spicier side (and I can handle spice) but the flavors were all great. My service was also very attentive and always checking in on me. I wanted so so badly for this place to be good. But when we walked into the restaurant, I immediately got the vibe that it wasn't going to blow my mind. We didn't leave though because we were hungry and committed. The waitress was very nice, seated us, took our order, etc and our food came out pretty quickly but... It just wasn't very good at all. My husband said his Green Curry was... OK. And his rolls were a 4/10. My kid got chicken nuggets and fries and didn't hate them. But wasn't overly excited for them either. I got the salmon sashimi and the yellowtail collar... The salmon sashimi tasted like the restaurant bought salmon that was about to go back in 3-4 days from Sprouts or Safeway, skinned it, sliced it into hunks and served it. It was fishy for sure. The yellowtail collar was - bland and boring. Sure I asked for no sauce but I order these collars all the time and sauce isn't needed. About 2 hours after eating, I got bad stomach pains too. They went away and I was fine (not food poisoning) but it just left a "bad taste in the mouth". The worst part is, this lunch was $120... And it did not taste like $120 quality. Womp womp. read more

Craving Pho and after a Yelp search I decided to try Go Sushi. So glad I did. This place is busy. A few large parties and several smaller parties along with several DoorDashers picking up while I waited for my ToGo order. It's comfortable inside. I saw numerous orders of Sushi being sent to tables - looked delicious and beautiful presentation. The Pho is very good. All the sides were packed neatly in a perfect bento bowl. I love thai basil which is included! Chicken is tender. My only complaint as witnessed in the pic is too little broth which I love to sip on while I eat. Go Sushi is one of the better options in Flagstaff for sushi, ramen, etc. I've only been here twice and the menu has expanded since originally going. FOOD: recently I ordered a spicy salmon roll and the Samurai ramen. Spicy salmon roll was good but simple (which I expected). The roll was decently priced and had good salmon flavor. The ramen was a large portion which was nice. The broth had great flavor which was nice. SERVICE: Service was great! Friendly wait staff and cooks. Absolutely no issues with this. OVERALL: Go Sushi is a good spot for a variety of dishes (sushi, ramen, thai, etc.). The food is a little pricey but the ramen is definitely worth the cost. Their menu has all types of Japanese food, curries, Vietnamese pho and banh mi, Thai curries and pad Thai noodles, etc you get the idea. This is a jack of all trades stop for Asian food. Service was a little slow only because they're popular on the weekends and the restaurant was full. Inside is a little loud with pop music and lots of people. The chirashi sushi came in a huge bowl with heaping portions of fish, rice and seaweed that was fresh. The ramen also came in a huge bowl with a nice spicy broth. The quality of the fillings and noodles were also really good. Overall, a solid bowl of ramen. They have lots of different options of ramen bowls to pick from and we had a hard time deciding. Skip the $10 dishes (the yellowtail roll and mussels didn't keep me full) and go straight for the $20 ones if you're hungry (ramen, chirashi), they're huge portions and very tasty! This is mine and my husbands favorite local restaurant!! We come here all the time, I'm shocked I haven't left a review or taken more photos of our food! You walk in and even on a busy day it seems so quiet and the perfect place for a nice, quality dinner for such a good price! My husband, without fail, always gets the Super Seiyan Ramen. We like to try new sushi rolls to share or we'll get the Firecracker appetizer, it's our favorite! I have tried so many things: almost the whole Thai menu, the Thai duck curry, veggie tempura, steak and egg fries, tteokbokki fries, cha chu fries, quite a few different ramen/noodle dishes and sushi rolls. Everything my husband and I have tried we've thoroughly enjoyed. We've never been disappointed after leaving Go Sushi! Little gem we found while searching for sushi. It didn't disappoint its a cute place with lots of ambience lightning makes it welcoming. The staff was great had great suggestions we went with amazing kiss sushi roll and it was amazing has soft crab on the outside. We were charged TWICE $97.22 dollars for their error of swiping our card from the phone and the waitress told us that it didn't charge and we need to use our physical card. The waitress insisted that it didn't get charge but when we investigated, they charged us twice! We put a dispute on the credit card company and they replied to the credit card company that it's the customer responsibility. This place is a SCAM !!! I will NEVER go back here EVER AGAIN! Our first time at Go Sushi & Thai was such a pleasant surprise! I ordered the shrimp/chicken fried rice, Dragon/California roll, and chicken katsu, and it was definitely different from other places I've had it before. Instead of the usual crunchy breaded style, theirs seemed to be marinated and had no crunch, which caught me off guard at first. But honestly, it didn't take away from the dish at all as it was still incredibly flavorful. The sushi was a bit pricey but worth it as they are huge rolls. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so good that we kept asking about dishes we saw being served to other tables. Needless to say, we already have a list of things we want to try next time. Me and my husband live in Flagstaff and work here, I'm currently pregnant and have a toddler, I'm exhausted and I'm nauseous. The only thing that sounded good was noodles. Maybe I didn't understand the spice levels or didn't hear the gal taking my order that it was out of 5 (don't think she did but that's beside the point) the point is, we spent over $60 there and GoSushi refused to remake our Pad Thai that was unbearable to eat. I'm not sure why. I think they make plenty of Pad Thai during the day. Nope, we walked right on out. The atmosphere was loud and uninviting. When approached by our server, he told us to pick where we'd like to sit. There were two available tables open, a small wooden picnic style table, and two regular tables that were put together for a larger party, if needed. So, the server tells us to pick where we'd like to sit but proceeds to tell us not to the larger table to accommodate a larger party... which makes just about ZERO sense when there is only one other table available. I inquired about their front room which was quiet and empty which would have been great for my husband and I given we are both hearing impaired but alas we were told no because they needed it, "just in case." Odd to me given there was an hour left before close, but hey, whatever. Okay, it is what it is, but when we were seated, I immediately asked for the sticky, filthy table to be cleaned because I could see the disgusting mess caked onto the wooden picnic table. The server gave me some snarky comment about the table being old, which I laughed and said that despite the age, some Goo-Gone would do the trick. My husband and I were so annoyed at the situation that we called Hiro Sushi and left.
