This place is not bad, but also nothing special. The build your own bowl idea is cool, but the only vegetarian broth is pho broth, and I'd rather just have pho. The worst part was that all the vegetables were soft, which is very odd for Asian food. Honestly the best dish was the cream cheese wontons, which were very tasty and fresh. (Pink for some reason, but great.) Service was also extremely slow and all the spicy pepper jars were empty. To be fair, it was a really busy day and the lady was there by herself serving, casiering, running food, cleaning tables, etc. Not bad, but definitely below average.

this is the best ramen place ! they had a bunch of options to choose from. Their service was great and super fast. I will be coming back soon please go and support this business.!

I love that you can customize your noodles. Food is delicious. Highly recommend the Tom yum with coconut milk broth. The mango sticky rice is also delicious!

First the good news , " when " the food arrived, it was actually very good! The noodles and soups were delicious BUT now the bad news , 4 bowls of noodles took 1 hour to prepare. A table before us left after also waiting for 1 hour and my fish ball had a strange black hair (?) on it. Would I go back if I'm in town ? not sure due to the service and possibly hygiene issues..

If you're here in the area just to get food and nothing else, I highly do not recommend this place! Despite the good reviews I saw on here, the service was mediocre. The employees seem nice enough but after so long, nobody ever comes up to take the order (only got a cup of water when I sat down, and that was it). An older lady came by to the table next to me, and I expected she would take my order as well. However. once she left, she never came back. The place wasn't even that busy anyways, so I really don't understand. And I finally saw the order paper in front of me (I never had to do this in other restaurants so I didn't notice). I filled it out and still nobody came around. I gave up and just gave it to whoever was at the counter where they prepare boba drinks. They took my order, but then it also took very long for the two bowls of noodles to come out. Noodles was ok, but it wouldn't justify paying an extra hour of parking fees just to sit in here to eat. And I would have liked to get dessert but I wasn't sure how long it would take, so I didn't. There's no parking fees at the street parking after 6 pm, but not sure if it was the same for parking garages. Overall, not a good experience here and not recommended.

Pork broth, rice noodles and shredded pork with bok choy, carrots, broccoli and basil

Traveling through Flagstaff and we were wanting something comforting to eat. After reading reviews we stopped here and it was no mistake. Every drop of soup was delicious. The spring rolls were fresh, the condiments were great, but you really don't need them if you like a clean tasting broth. I like spice so just about all the spice condiments went in. The pork broth with shredded pork was a good choice. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and a soft mellow Asian music in the background added to the calm ambiance. If you want a healthy place to eat come here. I would say the only downfall is they put the basil and cilantro on the vegetable choices, it should a condiment choice.

Finding a place for lunch in Flagstaff today wasn't easy. A few restaurants were on holiday and others opened later in the afternoon. A hefty number of coffee shops were open but none would do for lunch. Fortunately, Big Bowl came to the rescue. True to its name, I was served a big bowl of rice noodles with steamed tofu, mushrooms, spinach, and bean sprouts. This was the perfect meal on a cold day. Big Bowl is a simple and informal place. I'm glad the other places in town were closed. I lucked out.

Beef broth, beef and meatballs, chicken potsticker, cilantro, basil, and bok choy with rice noodles. Very good

Fantastic service, great portions, and such good food! Got the build your noodle bowl with beef broth, beef and meatballs, and some veg - basically made it a pho bowl. Pretty good and nice people running the place.

The build your own noodle restaurant is very cozy and homey! There's ample seating for big groups, and the menu is easy to read with visuals. There's a slip of paper where you mark down what you want. 2 big bowls of delicious noodles for $30 is a steal! The service is friendly, I'd come again if you want a warm bowl of good soup!

Food... 10/10 Service... 10/10 Price... 10/10 Make sure to call and place reservations if you think it will be busy seating is limited. When I did, even through it was not busy, the waitress had reserved us the best table in the place. We wanted for nothing. The sweet old ladies were fast and efficient when it came to anything we needed. The food was outstanding, and it comes in plentiful portions. The wontons had the most delicious cream cheese in the middle. This is the perfect hot meal to warm you up.

We were seated right away at the bar and promptly greeted by a friendly and helpful bartender. We started out with the wings and WoWzers were they so good. A little crispy with a garlic sriracha sauce - try them! My son ordered MicDrop ramen since it seemed so many others were enjoying bowls saying it was delicious- plentiful bowl with a savory broth and loaded with toppings. I went for the TanTanMen: I'm not typically a fan of pork - just because - but a diner next to me said it's a must try. It was very good and I would order again. It was two servings for me. Loved the broth and noodles. Not too much pork which was great for me and I love bok choy. Hot and spicy It was crowded and noisy on a beautiful frosty evening. All the diners seemed to be enjoying themselves; talking and laughing. I'll be back

The place was a bit busy on a Saturday night, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for three, which wasn't bad. I will say right off the bat--the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to expectations. We ordered the karaage to share and it was just okay, adding a side wedge of lemon would help. For our mains, we got the Mic Drop!, tantanmen, and katsu ramen, and all three were disappointing. The broth tasted more like lightly seasoned hot water instead of the rich, flavorful broth you'd expect from ramen. The egg was fully hard-boiled rather than the usual soft, jammy ramen egg, and the noodles were very al dente in a way that didn't feel quite right for ramen. Overall, I'd give it two stars, mainly because of how kind and attentive our server was. I wanted to like this place, but the food just didn't deliver.

Food is ok overall 4/5 (Tofu seafood soup: 5/5, omurice 4/5, spicy chicken soup 4/5, Bibimbowl 4/5 but I wouldn't say it was special. We had a toddler with us and had a stroller which could fold into a much smaller piece less than the size of a chair. The place was almost empty when we walked in. As soon as the owner (I assumed) saw us walking in, she gave us a super unfriendly almost impolite look, told us to fold the stroller. Then we were about to fold it, she told us "no no no, you have to put it in your car". There was no sign about stroller anywhere and the restaurant was almost empty. I was ok w it, folding it and walked back to leave it in my car. I told her we had 4 and a baby. She gave us a table for 4 then told us why didn't I told her sooner that we had 5 people. We helped our toddler to drink water but she liked to drink water from the cup directly and not through a straw and shook her head a bit. The owner scolded us why not having her drink water lol Then my toddler was drinking water from the cup directly as she always does. The owner scolded us. Yes, scolded. She told us close the lid and have her drink the water from the straw. At this point, I wanted to leave but because we already ordered. We didn't want to be impolite... My friend ordered an omurice and kimchi soup. When the food is out, the owner looked at her with a weird look shaking her head thinking she eated too much. Lol. She was smiling to other Caucasian customers while always judgemental and somehow unhappy to our group (Asian people) although we were polite and followed her directions the whole time. Last but not least, 18% of tip was automatically included in our bill.

We visited later in the evening and were able to get a table without difficulty, but it was easy to see how lively the place can be. The ingredients tasted fresh overall. I ordered the jalapeño ramen; the jalapeños themselves were over-charred, but otherwise the dish was well prepared. This was my first time trying this location. We went as a family. I made reservations on Resy which was great because they were busy, but sat us right away. This is a very classy Italian restaurant in Flagstaff. This location does have happy hour every day which I would recommend because it is a little bit. We missed the happy hour and took a venture down the main menu. We started off with several drinks ( my Hugo was light and refreshing) and then got the whipped ricotta appetizer and the calamari appetizer. The whipped ricotta was light fluffy, and divine. For main courses our family had the chicken Parmesan, which came with a nice and large chicken portion as well as the chicken pesto pasta with pinenuts, which was my favorite. We were stuffed. Everything was wonderful. Parking downtown can be tricky so give yourself a little extra time. Would definitely come back here again.
