The egg was just a plain, hard-boiled egg instead of the seasoned ramen egg you'd normally expect. The gyoza were soggy, which makes you wonder why anyone thought putting crispy dumplings on top of a bowl of ramen was a good idea. (Idk what I was thinking when I ordered) My husband's ramen wasn't any better, but he was so hungry he couldn't even be bothered to send it back. He got the mic drop with soggy pork chips on top. No spice, no fat, no flavor red water wooo. We also ordered the fried mac and cheese ball, which was dry, NOT cheesy, completely lacking in flavor, and not even properly seasoned. Honestly, it was just gross. My kid didn't even like it but she was starving so I made her :( The bao buns were probably the best thing we ordered, and even those were nothing to write home about. The buns themselves were fluffy, so I'll give them that, but the meat portion was skimpy for the price. The sauce was so overwhelmingly spicy that it completely drowned out any other flavor. It tasted like someone poured spicy oil straight from a bottle onto the food and called it a day and I mean completely SOAKED eat fast or that will be soggy too! For a restaurant specializing in ramen, I expected rich, flavorful broth and food that was actually worth the wait. Instead, we left disappointed after spending money on a meal that neither of us enjoyed. I sent mine back and luckily didn't pay for that one but the whole way back to the hotel we wished we sent it all back and just got a pizza instead . Save your money and find somewhere else to eat. We got there early, which turned out to be perfect. We were one of only a few tables, so service was quick, friendly, and attentive. By the end of the meal, we were all debating which dish was our favorite, and honestly, it was a tough call! I loved the juicy chicken satay, and the fresh rolls portion was HUGE and delicious. My daughters absolutely loved the pad see ew, which had that awesome wok-kissed flavor that makes you want to keep eating even when you're full. The sweet and sour chicken had amazing sweet pineapple, and the yellow curry was restaurant-perfect. Basically, everyone left happy, which in a family of four is no small accomplishment. From the start, our server seemed rushed, agitated, and visibly annoyed by basic questions. We were dining with an elderly friend who is hard of hearing and has strict dietary restrictions. Admittedly, our friend can be difficult and missed that an item came with teriyaki sauce, which he cannot eat due to severe sugar restrictions. He sent the dish back with the food runner--a mistake on our friend's part for not asking for sauce on the side, but nothing unusual for restaurant staff to navigate. When our server returned to the table, he was clearly angry. As our friend began asking questions about a replacement item, the server openly snapped, said, "I'm too busy for this shit," and walked away. He never returned. He didn't check back after a few minutes, didn't hand our table off to another server, and didn't notify a manager. He simply abandoned us for 45 minutes while we ate, walking past our table multiple times without making eye contact. We sat with empty glasses for over 20 minutes; my wife and I planned to order another round of beer and cocktails, but were never given the chance. No one else stepped in until we finally flagged down a different server just to get our check. It was obvious the staff knew what had happened, because the server presenting the handheld payment machine apologized and explicitly told us, "You don't have to tip if you don't want to." If a server is overwhelmed or frustrated by a guest, the professional response is to step away and send over a manager or another teammate. Cursing at a table and leaving paying customers completely stranded--especially showing zero patience or basic empathy toward an elderly guest--is indefensible. It was embarrassing for us after raving about this place and recommending it. The receipt does not list the server's name, but management can easily identify him: he had a prominent neck tattoo and was working the floor around 5:00-6:00 PM on 9/18. I am happy to provide receipt details to management upon request.
