Veg & Non Veg Mixed Thali For 2
    Move I'm G.

This place was amazing. It's the best Indian cuisine we've had anywhere so far! The veg and non veg combo for 2 was enough for at least 3 people realistically, and currently less than $40, which we feel was completely fair considering how much you get and the awesome variety of dishes it includes. Service was swift, attentive and kind. Several people came up to the table to check in as we ate, everything on the platter was explained when it came out and it all ranged taste wise from tasty to absolutely delicious. It's a very homey spot, it's clearly been there for a long time and is important the to city of Flagstaff, awards are all over the walls and they make sense one you dig in. We will absolutely be back every time we visit Flag!

After checking in to the Embassy Suites we needed dinner. We saw this place across the street so I asked the front desk staff if they'd tried it. They said it was very good, so we decided to give it a try. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani, Aloo Gobi, Lamb Samosa, and various different Naans. The food was good. The prices were a bit on the pricey side considering the strip mall location and portion sizes. I'm not sure if this is because I ordered take away... so, I'll keep the rating on the higher side. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, and the place is nice and clean and well decorated. You never know, we could be back if we ever make our way back to Flagstaff again.

Yummy, delish and full of flavor. That's what you get when you dine at the Himalayan Grill. The samosas were amazing- not oily(!!!), filled with tasty veggies and huge! Definitely shareable. We also ordered the momo which reminded me of gyoza (not fried) coming together in holy matrimony with traditional steamed dumplings. Very tasty and at the perfect temperature (hot!) for a cold day. Other dishes we tried included chicken masala, ginger chicken and tandoori (came out sizzling and juicy- not dry at all). Highly recommend.

We were absolutely blown away by how delicious everything was! We had the vegan thali platter which serves 2. It was phenomenal! The service was stellar and the atmosphere was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

I had the most incredible experience at this restaurant. It was a snowy day and I visited this place with my family for lunch. Firstly, they have the sweetest staff and the owner, Ramesh P. is the nicest. On to our orders, we started with veg samosa. And usually I don't expect much when it comes to samosa as it's always hit or miss i.e, either the shell is good and the filling not so much or vice versa. But the samosa we had over here were delicious with perfect balance of crispy golden shell and flavorful filling. These were so good that we ordered more. Plus it came with 3 different chutneys (sauce)!!! Too good to be true! Next we moved on to the entrees: 2 chicken steam momo: served in an authentic bamboo serving basket. Again, out of the park! It was served hot and just delicious. We devoured this in a min! chicken and veg thukpa: the broth was rich concoction of herbs and spices and notable thing was the broth for chicken and veg didn't taste the same! Somehow both had distinct taste and they were cooked to perfection! It's really easy to overlook the thukpa! chicken curry with rice and naan: freshly made and customized to taste! chicken chowmein: extra spicy, and again this was was hands down the best I've had in a while, boasting authentic nepali taste. Additional points for serving the chicken meant for the chowmein. To end on a sweet note, we had the masala chai which was a fitting conclusion to a delightful culinary journey. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and flavorful Nepali dining experience. Not only the food tastes good but it looks good as well!

One of the best Indian foods I've had. so much different from what I had in our side of town. you can really taste the difference. The butter chicken (they call it in a different name, but basically just butter chicken that we're used to) Just wow, I requested a level 5 spice, which was granted and omg it's a perfect dip for your Naan bread too. The Mango Lassi, OMG, why can't we have this in Phoenix? I mean, the taste is so different and sooo good. Service is great! they come and check all the time to see if we need anything. the owner (I believe) is really good at communicating and engaging with customers. we got our food fast, too. Ambiance, Now this is what an Indian restaurant should look like. I'm not gonna say the best of the best, but you will feel the vibe that you're actually eating at an Indian restaurant just by how the restaurant looks itself.

The food is amazing. We had chicken tika masala, chili naan and chicken momo. The service is the best I've had in any restaurant I've been to and the restaurant is always spotless. Lovely Indian decor makes you feel like you're dining in India. Love this restaurant and will continue to visit.

Chicken tikka, chicken makhani, garlic naan. House wine and mango lassi also very good.

Really enjoyed our meal here especially after a busy active day. Quick service and good beverages. The chicken tikka is a classic but very good.

Momos with the awesome dipping sauce

We ordered 3 dishes from the Nepalese menu since they're something we don't see often. The chicken momos were juicy and the dipping sauce was excellent, thick and spicy. The Himalayan Spiced chicken was flavorful. We also got the vegetable Thukpa, which is a noodle in soup. It's a little blended but very good after a day of skiing. Service was friendly. We enjoyed the food.

We also had the samosas, which tasted homemade and were equally delicious. FABULOUS! We were visiting Williams on vacation and, as we usually do, searched for a local spot on Yelp. When we arrived, we were a bit unsure at first, as the exterior and signage were unexpected, but we decided to go in and are so glad we did for the food alone. Inside, there was a large dining area with plenty of seating. It seemed like there may have been a different service style than what we are used to, as we were not greeted right away and ended up seating ourselves, getting our own cups and silverware, and flagging someone down to place our order. We weren't quite sure how the process worked, which made the experience feel a little awkward and unclear. That said, the food truly stood out and made a lasting impression. We shared our appreciation when we paid and left very grateful. With a bit more clarity around the service experience, this place would be an absolute standout. Our compliments to the chef, truly outstanding food preparation.

Here's my thoughts for today's visit. There is salt and pepper on the table! First time I found salt lacking and was happy to see it accessible on the table. The Indian coffee is bomb...and while Sugar in the Raw isn't available, there was honey today which was a nice touch and way better than refined sugar! Last time I was here I ordered the standard tikka masala, which I LOVE, but I noticed there was much less chicken than the first time I visited, and the prices had gone up. So, this time I opted for the Veg Korma, which I get every time, and the Dahl (lentils). The korma is lovely with chunks of potato, cauliflower, peas and carrots (feel like they are frozen, but good nonetheless). The sauce was spiced at spicy and was perfect. The Dahl was nicely spiced and just a really good vegetarian meal, not too heavy and plenty of leftovers. The butter naan was adequate. It was much denser than last visit and honestly lacked some flavor, but the garlic naan I've had before wasn't much different so I opted for the lower price point. All in all, it's hard to complain. The family does a really good job ensuring patrons are satisfied, which is key. The prices have increased about 25-30% since they opened and I feel like the portions shrank a tad, but considering I'm one person and I always order two entrees, I always have left overs. I'll state it again....great option if you're coming through Camp Verde/260. Something besides Mexican, lol. The family is lovely and I am a huge proponent for supporting small, local businesses!

This is not my 1st time ordering tikka masala. Traveling on vacation, we were pretty excited to see an Indian joint 5 minutes away from the property we were staying at. To their credit, checkout was convenient and the food was ready quickly. The takeout had no napkins, nothing to eat it with, and it came in two containers. It's not convenient in that regard. This tikka masala was perhaps the saltiest dish I've had in years. My wife took one bite and was finished. The chicken was cooked alright and the portion size was reasonable. We just couldn't eat it. If there was someone who really loved this restaurant and wanted me to try a specific dish or two sitting down in the restaurant, I'd go with them. But I certainly wouldn't order takeout again.
