Passing through Flagstaff, I looked for a Thai restaurant near my hotel that was highly rated. This one came up and seemed like it fit the bill. I was seated immediately in the very small dining space when I came in and offered a menu. I was quite disappointed to find meager offerings with only one meat choice (chicken breast) to add to my order, the other choices being tofu or vegetables. I ordered dumplings for the appetizer and one of three noodle dishes for the main course. The food was just OK. The chicken was dry and seemed processed à la SYSCO and the rest was just uninspired. The best part of the meal was the hot Thai tea and the homemade coconut ice cream I had for dessert as well as the excellent service I received throughout the meal. Incidentally, there is no rest room, so if you have to evacuate yourself, try and accomplish that before coming to the restaurant. read more

Party of 3 came in around 11:50am. Kindly greeted by Jose. We were the only people there until around 12:15pm. Such a nice and quite place to dine in. My husband getting his hair cut next door at the barbershop. We ordered chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, & mini chicken dumplings. All were pleasingly delicious! I would like to come back and try the curry. Just an FYI they dont have a restroom available. Luckily my husband was next door, I was able to use their restroom. Not the cleanest, but closest. We stopped in after wandering around the old town and were a bit Leary when we arrived - don't let it deter you! What a great little place! Yes, it's in a strip center, and yes, it's really small, but the food & the service were amazing! The owners are so nice & attentive and the food packs great flavor and fresh ingredients. I had the Pineapple Chicken Curry & hubby had the Little Thai Fried Rice w/Chicken, both spice level 3 - and we ate every bite... sniffling along the way. Just enough heat! We both loved our meals and got spice level of 3/5 which was a nice flavor addition. This place is TINY. Only a few seats and tables inside. It's very cozy and cute, but be prepared that the service (while kind) takes a while. It seems like calling and placing an order in advance is a thing locals do which seems worth it for take out. Little Thai Kitchen is one of the more flavorful Thai places in town in my opinion. My only critique is that the portion sizes are small. With the other places I usually have some left over, here a can eat my whole meal very easily. That being said I do enjoy eating here. They still haven't opened up the restaurant for dine in since covid started so I've been ordering to go. Some of my favorite dishes are the garlic delight and yellow curry. We came for dinner and needless to say we were left baffled by the high rating and positive reviews of this restaurant. It was some of the worst Thai food we've ever had. We ordered the Pad Woon Son and Pad See Ew, along with an appetizer of the veggie rolls. Both noodle dishes were extremely bland compared to normally fragrant and flavorful Thai cuisine. There was almost no flavor in the noodles, veggies, or the meat. The noodles were not the fresh broad egg noodles used in traditional Pad See Ew, and seemed to be just dried grocery store fettuccine. Additionally, there was minimal meat in the noodles with only a couple slivers of overcooked and unseasoned chicken. The veggie rolls left a lot to be desired and were of exceptionally poor quality. Usually they contain a medley of shredded vegetables, but these were nothing but bland and unseasoned green cabbage. The dipping sauce was highly watered down and barely tasted like anything. The rolls were tiny and grossly overpriced at $4 for 2. In fact, all of the food was overpriced for the poor quality at $13 for a noodle entree. I suspect a lot frozen and preprepared ingredients are going into these dishes. I really wanted to give this place more credit as the service was good, but the food and value was just that terrible. To top it all off, the business is inexplicably open for takeout only and you are not allowed to dine in. If you're looking for quality Thai takeout, take your business elsewhere. read more

Ordered chicken sate and thai dumpling appetizers, with a main dish of bangkok noodles. I was honestly shocked at the size of my meal! The chicken sate amounted to thin slivers of flavorless chicken and the dumplings were tiny--like the size of popcorn. I had to laugh, it was so ridiculous. Noodles were supposed to come with broccoli and carrots. Peanut sauce obviously on the side, being take-out. Well, there wasn't enough sauce for much anything and only a few tiny, limp, heads of broccoli. No carrots. No flavor. I was mischarged also. Should have been less than $20, but I paid $34. I didn't catch that until I had already left, so my fault too--but wow! Absolute waste. Do not recommend! read more

It says it on the name that this place is tiny but it is comfortable. We ordered for to-go initially before we arrived but we changed to dine in when we arrived. They left the food in the takeaway boxes instead of putting them on a plate, making the portions to be really small.. We had to order for more rice twice (and the charged us for extra rice too). We had pad thai, massaman curry, fried rice, and cashew chicken. The curry was a bit too watery and it was not flavorful enough. Pad thai too it was kind of flavorless. Overall the portion was so so little that we left kind of still hungry actually... We also needed to go to the bathroom but they don't have one. We needed to go to the restaurants next door but it was occupied. So we had to go to the gas station across the street, which was a total hassle. I came here the other day for sweet sticky rice and it was different than what I had usually and the portion was little. Kind of disappointed. read more
