1) service was fast and friendly. We ordered take out and were served tea while we waited. And the restaurant was CLEAN, open-feeling, and nicely decorated while still being casual. 2) authentic: my husband spent four years in Vietnam during the war, and he conversed with one of the owners, who spoke only Vietnamese. Her granddaughter who waited on us was so friendly. Hubby has had Vietnamese all over the world, from Vietnam to DC, and said this food was at the top of his list. 3) the food: excellent: the fresh spring rolls were soft, clearly just-made. The hoisin sauce that came with them made me forget all about the way I've had them at other restaurants, with peanut sauce. 4) the Shrimp pho was exactly the way it should be: lots of flavor, huge portion (so I got two meals out of one order), fresh shrimp, not the dehydrated kinds I've had in other places. Flagstaff is lucky to have this place and I hope more patronize it. read more

How good is this place! Perfect comfort food after a day of skiing. Pho were superb ($9) and the curry chicken was delicious (thanks for the recommendation on Yelp). On par with my favorite restaurants in Irvine and Fountain Valley (little Saigon district) in SoCal. read more

The restaurant itself is very inviting, and music put my family and I in a good mood. There was somewhat of a language barrier, as this place is mainly populated with Caucasians. We had to have the owner, who was Vietnamese, take our order. The wait was around 30-40 minutes, but I can see why, since there were only 2 waiters. The pho itself was very good, the flank was very soft and melts in your mouth. The broth however, got cold very quickly, so I tried to down the whole thing. My brother got the fried rice, and the beef was also very good, but again, it would taste a million times better if it wasn't room temp. Waiters were very nice and understanding, a bit jumpy though. 3 stars! read more

Very disappointed this is one of my favorite places in Flag. There were about 15-20 open tables and when we wanted to move to a bigger table we were told we could only sit at a two seat table although the place was completely empty. read more

This place is AMAZING!! My fiancé went there twice in 24 hours. We were a little worried, because it looked sleepy at lunchtime, but the staff was so nice, the food was quick getting to the table and it was as good as I've ever had it. We got the pho #5 and #6 and they were both super tasty and huge. Definitely ask for the house-made chili sauce. The second day we went, the waitress even remembered our name from the day before. I am so surprised to find authentic pho in Flagstaff. This place satisfies!! I ordered the pho special with no tripe. I asked for the spicy chili oil and they brought some out from the back for me. Oddly enough they don't give you your own bottles of hoisin and sriracha at the table, just a small dish. The iced coffee with condensed milk was good. I will definitely be back. This restaurant has ok food, but the service is rude. We arrived at 7:15 on a Friday evening for dinner, and they are listed to close at 8. They told us we could sit wherever we wanted, but then when we sat down they told us we couldn't sit there and moved us to the other side of the restaurant. They proceeded to start stacking chairs on tables by 7:30. A family came in at 7:40 and asked if they could still eat, but the staff told them they couldn't eat in because they were closing and would have to order to go. If you guys close at 7:00 on Friday night then just list that! Don't say you're open until 8 and then make all your guests uncomfortable. The pho was pretty good but I've had better. read more

Ordered the seafood pho, flavor was okay. Found a small bug floating in the broth, I can see its wings even without my eyeglasses. Owner/manager denied it was a bug and claimed it was part of a onion. Dude, the floating thing was dark brown /black with wings! I wasn't charged for the soup; but I'm never coming back. My family and I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions, the food is phenomenal, the set up is okay but the service is subpar. On our last visit, we waited 30 minutes for our waiter to even acknowledge us. We were just about to leave when a huge party came in and got water and attention immediately. We ordered shortly after they entered and another couple came in, sat right next to us and the manager came over right away with water, asking what they wanted and completely ignored my request for more water. The couple that sat down at least 35 minutes after us had their food and were getting ready to leave and we were just being served. We only had one more bowl than them. I was so frustrated and couldn't even enjoy our meal. I should have gone with my first instinct and just abandoned dinner there, but it was late and I was tired. It's very unfortunate because the food is amazing but the service and lack of importance they have for their customers is not acceptable. read more
