Moxie is a great place to grab a happy hour drinks and bites after work. It's located really close to Union station and makes it easy for commuters to go home. After work, it gets really busy so reservations are good especially if you are dining with a couple of people. Service is good and relatively fast. The food is surprisingly good and the cocktails we ordered were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Food was fabulous, but the music is so loud you cannot hear the person sitting across the table from you.

Awesome stop. Always come here. Vindaloo was terrific. The staff is great and the menu is large. Don't hesitate stopping in.

Large bar area. Plenty of tvs and background music. Decided to sip on a rosé sangria, tart and refreshing. Service was pleasant but a bit frazzled.

The nachos kicked up with guacamole, sour cream, salsa and pieces of chicken - can you say "ole!"

Part of The Cactus Club, Joey, Earls restaurant chain, I would best describe Moxies at the lower tier of the group however the ambience and design of this Moxie was really nice and similar to an Earls. Wanting a light snack we opted for the nachos with chicken and it was huge! Tasted great and met our cravings before dinner pairing well with that Stella which I also ordered.

We arrived at Moxies without reservations and got seated fairly quick in their heated outdoor seating patio section. Some items were unavailable, but they definitely made up for it. I tried the BTS Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious paired with the Louisiana hot sauce. The chicken was indeed crispy and flavorful. The fries were crispy. We were all satisfied with the food & service.

We came here later in the night for their happy hour and the $6 classic margarita was a steal and a big big hit. We got truffle Parm fries and shrimp tacos - both really good. Our waitress Breanna was fantastic and attentive. Overall, a laid back atmosphere because we got here late. Can't wait to come back when it's a busy day and try more of their cocktails.

Our bill. $72.33 +25% tips for good service from the waitress Nat.

Nice big restaurant, clean washroom but music too loud! Ordered Beef dip, tender roast beef but au juice too salty. I asked for crispy French fries because I don't like soggy fries. The fries served were too crispy and salty. Waitress took it back and gave me a new order. Better but still too salty, although I asked no salt! Ordered Sirloin steak medium rare, came out Medium. Waitress took it back and gave us a new steak medium rare this time. The Manager came to our table and asked if we wanted a new steak. We got a new steak the way we ordered it, medium rare, but the feeling we got was the Manager really didn't want to give us a new steak if we didn't insist. For $36 a steak, I think we deserve to get what we ordered! If this happened in Keg, the Manager will apologize and gladly make it right. So why not do it with a smile and make the paying customer feel good? Turn a bad experience into a good experience. Would i go back? Maybe, but I'll insist less salt on my fries and au juice and make sure steak is medium rare!

Came here for a quick snack, had the nachos It was a tasty plate of nachos, however, quite pricy for what it was - $25 for a plate with only cheese, fresh Pico, Salsa and sour cream. To add any protein was an additional $7. I understand that with inflation prices are going up, but I left feeling a bit ripped off as it ended up being $35 with tax and tip. Music was also very loud in there, so difficult to have a conversation with friends.

Lunch!

Very relaxed vibes. Has that fancy yet casual element to it. The service is mediocre, not very attentive. Complimentary guac was very good but didn't come with enough chips. The shrimp tacos were good as well, but they do have quite a kick to them. If you're like me and can't handle the heat, I would suggest ordering something else. The shrimp on its own was very good though. The burger was okay, have had better. The fries were 10/10! Overall, a very cute spot for lunch before the Blue Jays game!

I always love going to this moxie's! I have tried different drinks/food everytime I am here. they have never disappointed me in terms of flavour/quality and what not. Also the the customer service is great! seems like the people that work here are always on the look out if the customers needs anything other than ordered. I am going to start with their desserts - the sticky toffee pudding is out of the world.. also i dont think i have seen that size of the bread anywhere for a dessert.. easily 3 people can manage hogging onto it. and for mains I love their thai red curry and also miso ramen.. always my go-to. smashed guac is the best with fresh salsa on the side - and the presentation is probably the highlight for this menu item. bruschetta is not bad, but definitely not ordering while sitting outside in their patio - as the bread gets quite cold quickly. coming to drinks, love their mango margarita, frozen rose is no less.. oh and regular margarita as well - overall its a great experience, been here atleast 6-7 times! always like the atmosphere

Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there... but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Thank you Soho House Toronto, for giving me a taste of what the Soho House used to be in the states. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Truly designed for today's busy d-bag to allow them to half listen to their guest over cocktails while they scan the room to see if someone more important has walked in. The food is meh and it feels like this place simply exists for indie film and local television producers to feel like they are a part of some scene. There are 200 better places to eat a short walk from here.

As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. That dignified gentleman watching you sip your drink is George Locke, the very first chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library. I love that a librarian is the patron saint of this bar! The drinks here aren't just cocktails; they're chapters in a story. The current menu, titled "Ink & Alchemy," is actually inspired by Michael Ondaatje's famous novel In the Skin of a Lion. Created by their award-winning mixologist James Grant, the menu is a tribute to the people who built this city: the immigrants, bridge-builders, thieves, and dreamers. Their bar and lounge is located in the lobby of the hotel so it could get a little noisy, but the lounge is a separate area up a small set of stairs and is a little quieter and more intimate. They started us off with glasses of champagne (yum)!! We ordered the French onion soup with was delicious w generous amount of melted cheese , soft bread, soft onions, and crispy onion bits! Very good For mains I got the truffle gnocchi. Omg the truffle cream sauce was sooooo good. Much better than all the other Italian places in Toronto! It was rich, creamy and full of truffle flavor. The gnocchi could have been softer but the sauce and shaved truffle was perfect. I also got a side steak which was grilled to perfection and had a wonderful herb crust and deep flavor. It came with some nice light micro greens. We also got the one burger with their signature logo on the bun. It came out piping hot with fresh crunchy veggies and crispy well seasoned fries.

The drinks and the food were very average, not too strong at all when it came to the drinks, and the food wasn't out of this world but good. The presentation for both the food and the drinks was pretty nice. Location: The location was directly within the entrance of the hotel, which made it very convenient for us to grab something to eat, especially the first night since we got here a little late. You can lounge in this location, and some people are dressed up, but some people are casual who are also within this hotel. I'm not sure about parking on the regular since we did parking through the hotel as well. Service: The biggest reason as to why I gave it a three-star is because one of the bartenders was very unfriendly, and to be honest, it could have been because it was nighttime, but it really threw us off because you hear how nice Canadians are, and to be honest, the majority of the places that we went to afterward were exactly what people say and how nice they were except for this location. One of the bartenders was a guy, and he was just very straightforward, did not smile at us, and honestly, when I asked certain questions about the menu, he responded with comments as if I should know what the menu means. I just didn't like his attitude at all, and it really threw me off, but because we had a voucher through the hotel, it's the only reason why we gave it a go for the first night and didn't end up going back the remainder of the time that we were there.
