I recently had the pleasure of dining at Moxies, a restaurant that came highly recommended by a friend. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this establishment was something special. Not only were the calamari and blackened shrimp tacos absolutely amazing, but the service provided by our server, Myan, was truly outstanding. Myan went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable time during our anniversary dinner. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our experience were evident throughout the evening. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Throughout the meal, Myan continuously checked in on us, ensuring that our drinks were always topped up and that we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Her friendly and warm demeanor created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making our anniversary celebration even more memorable. The calamari and blackened shrimp tacos were nothing short of exceptional. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the shrimp had a delightful smoky flavor. Each bite was bursting with freshness and a harmonious blend of flavors. The presentation of the dishes was also visually appealing, adding to the overall dining experience. The ambiance of Moxies was stylish and modern, with a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor and lighting created a sophisticated and comfortable setting. Combined with the exceptional service, it made for an unforgettable evening. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Myan for her exceptional service. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly nature truly made our anniversary dinner at Moxies a memorable one. Her dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident throughout the entire evening. In conclusion, Moxies exceeded all expectations. The delicious food, stylish ambiance, and, most importantly, the outstanding service provided by Myan made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend Moxies to anyone seeking a remarkable culinary experience accompanied by top-notch service. Thank you, Myan, for making our anniversary celebration truly special. I was really excited to visit Moxies because it's always a favorite stop when we're in town from Michigan with our son. The food itself did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken, which was absolutely delicious, and the portion was very generous--something I really appreciated. My husband had the Asian chicken dish and loved it, and our son ordered the chicken sandwich, which is his favorite and always makes him happy. Unfortunately, the service fell short of our expectations. Our server missed our appetizer order entirely because she waited too long to take it, and we ended up going straight to our entrée order. It was also our friend's birthday, and the sangria he ordered was very watery and disappointing. This was our first visit to the Plano location. I did appreciate that the servers were dressed in a more professional, less provocative way than at the downtown location. However, the service team here could benefit from additional training. On a positive note, the restaurant's lighting and booth seating were fantastic and created a comfortable, semi-private atmosphere for each party. Overall, the food and ambiance were strong, but the service needs improvement to match the quality Moxies is known for. read more

Not my First experience with Moxie's, as I have frequented them a few times in Canada. By far, they have surpassed my expectations. First of all they have a beautiful modern looking restaurant, followed up by some lovely young men and women that were able to answer any questions that I asked. The staff always had a smile on their face and it showed their happiness thru the service I received. Now lets talk about the food! Fresh, quality ingredients that made my taste buds jump for joy. The fresh smashed guacamole I ordered came out quickly in a mortar and the server smashed it right at the table for me and my family. It was so nice to see my sons eyes light up with glee as he intently watched her do it. She even let him help her smash the guac. I also ordered the baby back ribs they were so tender I was able to slide the bones right out. My wife ordered the 9oz filet and it came out a perfect medium-rare and was tender and juicy. After she was done she wanted to take another one to go. To the Moxie's Plano team thank you for making our night one of the best we have had in the new year. You are sure to see us again. Take care and keep doing what you are doing, it will only go up for you. read more

This was one of our first stops upon arriving to Plano. We were staying at the Staybridge hotel across the parking lot and asked for recommendations around the area. Moxie's being where it was made the decision fairly easy for us (the other spot down the street is still being built apparently). We came in and the room seemed inviting enough; not too bright, staff seemed nice, with bonus points for the host at the front opening the door. Our server was a bubbly brunette (can't remember her name for the life of me), very friendly, but not annoyingly so. I ordered the prawn linguine and my wife had the Portobello mushroom burger. The linguine was fantastic, with a little lobster tail atop it. The mushroom burger was interesting in that it was a big mushroom cap that looked like it was cooked similarly to the way a burger would be. My wife liked it, so that's a thumbs up from her end. We were gonna grab dessert, but at the end of the day felt we were too full to give it a go. Overall we were pretty happy with our first stop in Plano! read more

We came here a little ways back on a Saturday afternoon. We'd been craving brunch, but being 2pm we were very aware that options are tight around here for that. We looked online and read that Moxie's had recently opened up so we figured we'd give it a go. Now, I'm not huge on describing décor and what not, so I'll leave that part of the review at "it was a very nice looking spot". I'm more concerned with the food myself. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my wife got a French Toast. The Huevos was a very large portion, that while I'm used to eating large was still a task to get through. It was also very tasty, with the layers of chicken, rice and the eggs on top. The French toast my wife had was ...maybe almost too big lol. It was 3 (maybe 4?) pieces stacked atop each other and covered in a strawberry syrup. It must have been good because she ate the whole thing before I got halfway through my meal. Overall, we were very content with our visit! read more

We walked into Moxies tired, hungry, and grumpy. We left happy and 100% satisfied. Our server Tori immediately put us to ease and brought out the most delicious cocktails. Tori answered our questions about the menu, allowing us to make the best choices. The food was beautifully plated, and the flavors exploded with freshness and originality. We ordered the steak bites with two dipping sauces (amazing), blackened shrimp tacos (also amazing), and asian lettuce wraps (crazy amazing). The sweet manager stopped by to make sure everything was "just right" and if there was anything she could do to make our dining experience better. We can't say enough about the superior service we received and the wonderful food. The meal was topped off with key lime pie with a pecan crust and lime zested whipped cream. It was a perfect evening. Thank you, Tori! And thanks to your manager! read more

I've visited Moxie's several times and have always enjoyed their calamari and generous portion sizes of very delicious food. However, my recent experience was disappointing. While the calamari and bruschetta were excellent, I particularly appreciated the extra bread; the avocado bacon salad did not meet my expectations at all. It was just a simple cross-section of lettuce, with two slices of bacon laid on top, avocado, a couple of eggs, and a meager portion of salmon. Honestly, I found myself wondering how even to eat that dish. It was cumbersome and I couldn't enjoy my meal, which I usually do at Moxie's read more

I usually go to the Dallas location since it is closer to my job, however, I heard this one was awesome as well and I couldn't agree more! What stood out for me was the AMAZING server by the name of Reagan B. (can't remember the last name) as well as the awesome food and drinks! Her promptness and patience were very much appreciated. She always had a smile on her face and didn't skip a beat! I will be coming to this location from now on and will make sure to ask for her to be my waitress. Thank you for being so kind and patient while being super busy Reagan. It was noticed by everyone at my table! read more

We just moved to Dallas a couple of months ago and found this place. It is wonderful, and has a very nice vibe. The wine selection and food is really good. Corey, the bartender, provided exemplary service each time I've been there. And, he's also one of the main reasons that I keep returning. My wife also loves this place. We will continue to patronize this nice and fun establishment! And, you should too. read more

Great new restaurant in Plano/Frisco. We went last night with a group of 8 for a Birthday. Service was great and the room is so cute and fresh. I loved the chipotle mango chicken and they have my favorite wine on the menu. My husband had the steak and he also loved it. Parking is super easy, they have a large lot to self park but they also offer valet. We are already planning on coming back for happy hour. read more

The food and drinks were amazing and the service was excellent. It was one of the best French Dip sandwiches I've ever had and my fiancé's fish tacos were delicious as well. Reagan and Jordan were excellent servers and the food came out fast. The happy hour drinks are not cheap well liquor I had an old fashioned made with quality bourbon. This place is well worth the five stars. read more
