Don't waste your time. With all the amazing places in the area, don't waste your time. Service was slow. It took 35 minutes to get our appatizers because out waitress forgot to send the order in. Food took just as long. Food is good i will say that but we were there an hour and a half. As far as drinks they i ordered a decent Rye on the rocks and was charged an extra $3 cause i didn't order it with a mixer?! I have worked as both a bartender and a server and I have never seen this. The service is what warranted the 4 stars. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Alexus. After telling me about the happy hour deals i ordered an Old Fashioned which she made to perfection. When my steak sandwich came out, which I ordered medium, it was clearly over cooked and well done. She was right there as soon as I cut into it and made sure to have a new steak re-fired immediately. The manager also paid me a visit which was a great sign of their customer service standard. The new steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and Alexus consistently checked in to make sure I was still enjoying the meal. It's this type of service that keeps a customer coming back. I love moxie's it's so good I recommend the I think it's spicy Korean style fried cauliflower as an appetizer! It's so great and the ambience in the whole restaurant is so lively, the decor is very modern and all the furniture goes together really nicely! A great place to go on Saturday night! Also ask for Lexi as your server she's so nice and gave us such great service! And the manager I think his name was Jay even stopped by to check on us! Don't bother making a reservation here. We called ahead for a reservation of 10 and they confirmed us, then we drove 45 minutes only for them to tell us they are completely booked and we should have made a reservation sooner. The manager acted like we were a huge inconvenience. It's not like we showed up as a walk-in, we had a confirmed reservation! Talk about NO HOSPITALITY. I will never go here again. read more

Is ZERO stars a possibility? Had a group reservation for a birthday party and called the day of to ensure everything was set with our reservation. We show up tonight and they had set aside separate booths for us- what?! Kidding right? There were several open tables that could have been moved, but they refused. Not only was this disappointing and embarrassing, but the manager was very rude to multiple folks in our party. We left. What a wonderful place to have lunch! The place gets a little busy, so hurry there with your colleagues or friends to enjoy a savory meal. No matter how busy it gets, the service is exceptional. If you ever need anything a server, or manager is there to meet your needs. While your there, the first thing you should order is the potstickers or calamari! Both appetizers will break the ice for the table. There is a dish for anyone that is craving something different from their friend. Canadian twists to the menu-after all it is a Canadian restaurant! I've always heard this place was on the "pricey" side but I think the company is failing. They need the money. My friends and I enjoying going out to eat multiple times a week. Most of the time we end up at a steak house with a nice wine menu. Del frisco double eagle, capital grille, Fleming's, ETC. we decided to go here and as we got the check they charge 20% per drink for ICE...... literally ice. I pass by this place on a regular basis and decided to come in and have a try. The decor was modern yet somewhat 70's esk with the green booths and the moss to highlight. Well lit and smelled amazing, Already exceeding my expectations. I believe our server was Madelinne? I'm terrible with names. She was bright, very knowledgeable about the menu and was always there willing to help. I took her suggestion for the appetizer (spicy tuna roll) thinking it was going to be your average. And was I blown away! The flavors were complex, yet simple in a balanced way. Next up was the entree. CHICKEN MADEIRA RIGATONI! Honestly wasn't in the mood for pasta but the way she had described it to me meant I had to have it. The chicken was moist and delicious, the sauce was rich and flavorful. Modern, lively restaurant and bar. Drinks and food we're a hit and miss. The Bloody Mary was to come with a spear of vegetables. It came with a green olive and a lemon. The guacamole made at table side was great, as was their deluxe burger. The fries arrived soggy. With so many food choices within a mile, no reason to come back. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Loved the decorations and ambiance of the place. You could tell the fresh smashed guac was actually fresh and they give you a generous amount w/ chips. We also got the tuna poke which tasted amazing along with two main meals which both were very fresh and flavorful. Grapefruit mojito was AMAZING. I had a 7 pm reservation. We showed up at 6:40 and they immediately sat us. The restaurant was not busy at that time. Order was taken at 6:45 and at 7:25 we still didn't have our appetizer. I flagged down our waitress who said she would check on it. She came back to tell us they were a little short staffed in the kitchen but that the appetizer was almost done and the main course would quickly follow. We got the appetizer 5 min later at 7:30. At 7:50 our dinner still had not showed so I told the waitress to cancel our order. When she said she would go get the bill for the $11 appetizer, I just chuckled to myself. I left a $20 on the table and left. Throughout all of this there was no leadership presence. No manager came to apologize for the delay and/or to give updates. Sorely disappointed in this experience. I've eaten here three times since this Canadian chain came to Dallas. Food had always been good, but the service has worsened. I think their corporate offices need to pay closer attention to what's going on. read more

So much better than the Moxie's in uptown. If you want a chill vibe definitely come to this one! I will say however that the service is sort of slow. This place is super cute! Had a great all-around experience here last Friday night and it was pretty busy. They had a DJ (DJ Kenzi Sway) playing and she was fantastic. Great vibes, tasty food and I love how classy everyone looked. The portion size on the Lobster Shrimp Linguini was big enough for my lunch the next day as well. Today I visited this location in Plano and had a horrible experience. I arrived after work during Happy Hour. I was greeted by Maia after a few minutes of looking over the menu. My friend and I ordered two lemonades. We received our drinks in a timely manner. At least 10 minutes passed before she came to take our order. I ordered honey garlic wings and my friend ordered tacos. My wings came out but my friends tacos did not come. 40 mins later we asked another waitress to check on our waitress and food. A few seconds after that the tacos were delivered to the table, cold. We asked to speak to management (Brayden) and he told us that the fried fish taco and chicken taco was SUPPOSED to be cold. We sent the food back and got our check. I usually sit in the other part of the restaurant and a waiter by the name of Jordan waits on me. He told me that he couldn't wait on me today because I was sitting in the bar area. I feel like the best waiters should be in the busiest part of the restaurant. I enjoy dining here but today was a bad experience. Management lies to customers and waiters just don't care. read more

moxie's has easily become one of my favorite restaurants! i come here after work all the time and the food and service never disappoint. i came in this past saturday and this was by far the best visit i've had so far. our server lexi was so conversational and made sure we really enjoyed our time there, 10/10 service. i personally recommend the korean cauliflower appetizer i order it every time and it's AMAZING. on top of the great service and food the manager on duty personally came by to check up on us, i believe his name was jay and it was a nice touch to the already great service. read more

Nice interior, food good. BUT...Employees attentiveness to cleanse is absurd! Went to the bar area and watch the waitress/bartender take out a container of ice stick her hand in after continuously running her fingers through her hair up top to two. Took the ice out of the container with her bare hands and placed it into the glass and brought it to our table. I question her actions and she said that the company allows employees to stick their bare hands into the ice it's serve the customers! disgusted, I refused the drink.! I'm sure the company does not allow the employees to do such and I did inform Management and they instructed her to wash her hands but not sure if she was told not to stick Her hands into the ice and serve customers with that ice. Also I'm unclear why in this day and time female waitresses must dress in such a provocative way. It's truly Senseless! The company should have better standards for their female employees and respect for them. read more
