Literally the worst dining experience I've had... but the food was par for the course. Rude staff, can't handle customer load. Firm believer that customer service is a dying art- this being the epitome of that particular expression. read more

This place is awesome! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is fresh and delicious. Good atmosphere for a solo night, date night, or meeting up with friends read more

Thought the bar might be a good decompression spot after work, I like to have a cocktail and watch the game while I respond to the day's final emails and client requests. Upon entering the bar, I immediately lost two bars on my cellphone coverage (T Mobile is my carrier). No problem, I thought, I'll just use wifi. I connected to Moxie's wifi, but was unable to download any files with data, or get updates on my usual news apps... tried to send several text messages, which all came back as unsent due to poor signal... while I would have liked to have watched Monday night football and order dinner, I had to cut my visit short due to lack of connectivity, and go out in the parking lot to even answer texts or clear phone calls. So this spot is a NO for me, because phone coverage (at least if you're a TMobile user) and wifi were so poor. Bummer. read more

Service, ambiance, and food were all fantastic! We'll most certainly be back again! We had the chicken rigatoni and mango chicken. Omg!! So good! Key lime pie for desert. The home made graham cracker crust is to die for! read more

My husband and I had a delicious meal and drinks at Moxie's. I ordered the curry with chicken, and a delicious drink called "hot mess". Our waitress, Gabriella, was really nice and professional. Her recommendations were spot on. We will definitely come back to Moxie's for the food, drinks, and great service. read more

Food was great, service was friendly and of high quality, restaurant was clean and spacious. I would recommend. Menu was condensed from regular menu but that's understandable, still great options. read more

Wonderful experience! We stayed at the hotel connected to Moxie's. Gabby was amazing! She immediately greeted us upon entry and quickly sat us. She gave us outstanding service! Thank you Gabby for making our night extra special! read more

I don't know why this place has 4 stars. I was completely rubbed the wrong way after this obnoxious manager approached me about having balloons and a table setting for my husband's birthday. He walked up to the table without introducing himself, or even asking what I'm celebrating and says " I'm supposed to have you take all of this down but I won't, I don't know what's going on here but if you can keep the balloons out of the view of tv that would be great" mind you they sat us in the bar area in front of the TVs. I was told I would have a secluded area away from others, which was the first mistake. Second mistake was being approached in that manner after bringing over 30 people to his establishment. THIS REALLY TAKES THE CAKE, after sitting for about 10-15 minutes without servers he sends over two ladies to cover over 30 people. They finally come over after waiting a total of about 40 minutes and starts passing out water, before I could even get an appetizer they asked us for or cards to keep on file so when we're ready to check out it'll be easier. So basically they knew things started off bad and wanted to charge us for service regardless of the experience. Plates came out cold, some were over cooked, come we're undercooked. 3-4 meals were forgotten and served after everyone else had eaten. The servers were great but management sucks and have no hospitality. The best thing of the night was the Dj who helped lighten the mood after such a rough experience. It's not for large parties and the food is mediocre. read more

What a great place!! Our server Bobbie was helpful and funny and made for a wonderful evening. Ambiance is very nice and the food is outstanding. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice night out. read more

Celebrated my birthday at Moxie's. Wonderful food and Gabbyy waS the best waitress! Thank you, Gabby!

I just found the Moxie's in Southlake and have eaten 2 times there and found out that there is a Moxie's in Plano closer to where I live so I thought I'll give it a try and see if it's just as awesome The food I found is the same but the atmosphere in Southlake is nicer The Plano Moxie's in part of it is a loud bar half a regular restaurant but it looks like a hotel restaurant I will eat here again but I really prefer to eat in Southlake ( plus shopping near) read more

Not sure how this place ever received 4 stars. Service alone is the worst. Slow, orders incorrect, drinks one at a time. Not recommended. You wouLd get better faster service and the gas station next door. read more

This restaurant is amazing!!!!! The entire staff is always super friendly and the management team is killer! The food is always spectacular (my favorite being the Steak Salad). I would recommend this place to any friend, family, or even stranger! read more

A group of us had been staying at the attached hotel for an event and decided to stay on location for dinner, so we went to Moxie's. Upon being seated at our table we were all but abandoned and had to flag someone down to get water. The waitress who showed up only had enough water in her jug to fill two out of 4 glasses. So two of us had warm water and eventually the other two got fresh ice water. Our wine glasses that were at the table were disgusting, covered in fingerprints and still had lipstick residue on them. We had clean ones brought out to us. We ordered pot stickers and their bruschetta without complaint, those were all enjoyable. All 4 of us ordered filets, 2 medium well, 1 medium, 1 medium rare. 3 out of 4 had to be sent back bcs they were all so over done that they were not enjoyable. Mine was supposed to be medium rare and it was well, not even a hint of pink. Once they were recooked they were much better. They did not offer any bit of compensation and barely an apology. I did enjoy the steak once it came back out but by that time I was no longer super hungry. We will decide to eat elsewhere the next time we stay at this hotel. read more

I really, really liked this place! The atmosphere is very hipster and fun. We had a party of 6 and they have those oversized 1/2 booths which make it really good for large parties to chat and not have someone stuck at the end of a table. I ordered the 6 oz filet and I swear it was the smallest piece of beef I have ever seen (had to be less than 6 oz). I ordered it medium (which i thought that mean pink throughout, but it arrived pretty much well done with no pink at all). I didn't send it back because I was so hungry and everyone else was eating. Someone ordered the lettuce wraps (which is on the menu as an appetizer) as her entree, and it was a good choice because it was definitely enough for a meal. Someone else ordered the salmon and it looked really, really good. 1 couple ordered the bread pudding - a HUGE portion. I had a taste and it was yummy. Service was very attentive & food came out quick and hot. I gave 4 stars just for the small size of my filet and because my steak was not cooked as ordered. BUT... I'm sure it will be 5 stars next time, and yes... definitely going back! read more

Horrible service, disgusting food, keep driving until you find another place. Red flag was Friday at 7p the dining area was empty. Waitress had a careless attitude, manager didn't make any impression that would win my return. With so many choices of restaurants in the Plano/Frisco area this restaurant is not worth a visit! read more

My servers were very knowledgeable and attentive to me and my needs. I received excellent service and felt very welcomed by the whole team. Will be back. Food was also exceptional. The managers helped me with all my food allergy needs perfectly, and they even compensated for mistakes made on my order. The drink menu has so many amazing option. read more

Generally, before I go to a place to try " Dinner " I like to try the lounge, bar first to check out the Service; friendliness of the staff. Stopped here a short time ago, ( Go Bison!-Thought I was in ND!) Extremely friendly Staff! Ordered a Rahr, Keg almost done, she gave me a half pint on house while I waited for the Keg change, fantastic! My family and I spend udels at places in Plano, and there is plenty to choose from in Plano and Frisco! ( we all know that!) Moxie's gets it, love the decor, (kind a reminds me of my house in 1970! ) We'll all be back! Can I leave my tab open? read more

We came on a Tuesday around 10 pm after our work out so we were dressed very athletic wear so we sat at bar, there was no hostess at door so we sat ourselves. Paige was our waitress at the bar area and she was the only one for the whole bar area . Her service was good for being the only one. We had the potstickers, the lettuce wraps with chicken, the portobello mushroom burger and the salmon salad and everything was good except the salmon salad came with two eggs that did not look thoroughly cooked but I would definitely come back and more dressed up but we still got great service, thank you Paige for your wonderful service! read more
