The drinks are called pornstar which is on the right and then a lychee martini

This was my boyfriend and I first time going to Moxie's. I really enjoyed it, and there was great atmosphere. The game was playing so he was able to watch the game as well. He didn't really care for the food too much, but I had the fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries Delicious! Our waiter name was Angie and she was so lovely the first time she came to the table. She had a great smile and interacted with us The whole time we were there and made us laugh which is a plus. Thanks for the great service!

This review is long overdue, but anytime I think of a brunch place that is sure to satisfy anyone I am hosting, it is Moxies. On this particular occasion I ordered the farmers hash, maple glaze brussels sprouts and Keylime pie for dessert and everything tasted so good! I was a bit confused about the cherry sized tomatoes that came with brussels sprouts but they were some of the most seasoned and hearty size veggies I've had in quite some time. The Farmer's Hash had a good balance of bacon and sausage so that at each forkful, I got a taste of a little bit of everything to enjoy. The only downer of my order was the Lychee Martini; it almost tasted like a mocktail... The service itself was attentive and quick, especially for it to be a Sunday morning. I loved the spacious patio seating. I'll be sure to add Moxies into my regular rotation of Houston mainstays.

Moxies is one of those places that makes you feel very adult lol. It's a wonderful upscale spot for drinks and an intimate dinner. Came here to celebrate with friends and the service was great. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The only complaint I had was the hostess greeted us with "yes?" as though we were interrupting her day. But other than that the staff was wonderful. When they brought out the special dessert for my friend, the entire kitchen was watching and it felt like the whole staff celebrated with us. Of course I'll be back

We walked to this place from our hotel, the Chifley Hotel. Great find - was looking for a place to watch World Series and MNF and score sat at a high top booth table and watched to my hearts content there is no sound on the TV's, just music turned up just a bit too loud. Nicely decorated and pleasant to the eye place. I think I was the only one wearing a jersey for the game. We weren't too hungry and I ordered a really tasty salmon and avocado cob salad. The food was very tasty and the salmon was cooked perfect with a nice sear on the outside. Our waiter was nice and friendly and recommend the salad to me. Thanks for the recommendation!

Went to Moxies on a random weekday. It wasn't busy at all during the day and parking was easy. I'm pretty sure on a weekend , parking would be harder as there are so many other establishments near the restaurant. Valet was also an option. We were seated upstairs where there was a full bar, TVs , and indoor/outdoor seating. Our waitress was pretty kind and lovely. While exploring the menu , there wasn't really a big selection to choose from. I decided to go with the chipotle mango chicken paired with quinoa. While I am not a quinoa fan , I did feel like this meal paired well together from the flavorful chicken to the sauce. The veggies were great as well. I truly enjoyed the meal I had!

A group of friends and I stopped by Moxie's for happy hour, and overall it was a decent experience with room for improvement. The Happy Hour Menu: * The drink options were okay -- nothing too exciting, but they did the job. * The happy hour bites didn't really appeal to us, so we only tried the guacamole from that menu. * Instead, we ordered from the regular appetizer menu -- and that's where Moxie's shines! Every appetizer we tried was delicious, and honestly, we were perfectly full just from sharing apps. Service: * Our server was friendly, but seemed to forget about our table a few times. * That said, whenever he did come back around, he made sure we had everything we needed. While this visit wasn't quite a five-star experience, the food was solid enough that I'll definitely be back to give it another try. The patio was open and spacious to my liking. I can see the potential, just hoping for more consistent service next time!

Moxies is a great restaurant for a Sunday brunch. This restaurant provides an elevated chill experience with great food and drinks. Valet and plenty of free parking are available. I started off with a delicious pineapple basil margarita cocktail, which was quite refreshing. For the food item, I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos with fries. The tacos were absolutely divine and were a nice portion size. Our waitress was very energetic and provided great service. I will say my cocktail was loaded with ice but overall it was delicious. I can't wait to return for another brunch Sunday.

First time dining in, we held our friends birthday dinner on the outside patio and it exceeded our expectations!!! The restaurant is large with lots of bar seating, regular seating, and outdoor seating. Great location for larger groups as well. Lots of parking as it's in a shopping plaza, also has valet out front. Lots of TV's to watch any games going on and music was so good!! Our server was so attentive and our food came out really fast. Food was very good, highly recommend the steak frites.

Guava Cosmo on their drink menu, made with Chopin potato vodka, Cointreau, reàl guava, lime juice, and cranberry juice! Sour taste to it.

Went for a late night drink but ended up ordering some appetizers as well! First off, the vibe of the place is more on the elegant side and has two floor seating outdoor/indoor. Lighting is pretty dark on the inside and electronic music is playing (not the ideal place if you want a quiet date night) but I love the aesthetic of the place. Food, drinks and food came out really fast and service was great. The server was very attentive and made sure to check on us frequently and made sure our area was nice and tidy after finishing a plate.

Moxies has been one of my favorite brunch and happy hour spots in Houston for a long time! For starters, I met the love of my life here for our first date in 2019 . The vegan options are always good and they never miss. The service is wonderful and typically pretty fast. I love the vegan potstickers and the newest addition vegan mushroom rice!

The Big Breakfast

Had a very pleasant brunch at Moxies the other day and had an excellent time. We had no reservations and originally wanted to eat at the Honey Hole, but unfortunately wait times were over 2 hours. Then my friend suggested we try the moxies that was across the street. Wait times there was only 15 mins, which was perfect for us. Service was fast, friendly, and informative. I guess Moxies is a chain, but I personally never heard of it. Our server did a fantastic job of informing me on the menu and customer favorites. I ordered "The Big breakfast" it comes with eggs, your choice of sausage or bacon, a roasted tomato, I opted to have French toast instead of the multi-grain toast, and finally I got potatoes with ketchup. The breakfast definitely lives up to its name, portions were humongous. I was definitely full. They have great options for mimosas, but I had a mocktail instead and found it to be quite tasty. I also had them make me a faux mimosa, made with OJ and sparkling water. Overall, it was a great brunch! I have no complaints!

What a great place to hang out with friends. We had a wonderful dinner with our group this evening. The service was great and we all agreed being on the second floor was ideal. It's not a place in the evening to take little ones though. The tables are pretty close together and there is definitely no room for them to run around. The room was filled with lots of conversation and sometimes hard to hear at our table of 8 but that is to be expected on a Sat night almost anywhere in Houston. Make a reservation because they fill up fast and they also do offer valet parking. Gratuity was automatically added to our ticket for a party of 8. They said they had a dress code but I saw a lot of different styles come in. So if you are in The Galleria area and want to hangout with your friends, give Moxies a try. You won't be disappointed with the food & drinks. Emilee was taking care of us and she was fabulous.

Tuna Sushi Stack
Tijah M.

The food here was amazing, seriously! Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. I got the tuna stack and the salmon Caesar, and both were perfect. The tuna had just the right balance of flavor and texture, and that crispy bread that comes with the salad? So good. The vibe inside is really nice, modern, lively, and fun- but it does get a little crowded and noisy at times. Still, the energy adds to the experience. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Service was quick and our server was pretty attentive.

I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. There is a special drink menu for the pop-up... they are quite expensive at $16 per cocktail, but they are tasty & they do offer a happy hour until 6pm on weekdays. There are some snacks you can buy at the bar, but I wouldn't recommend having dinner there. We had a reservation and were still seated in an overflow area while multiple tables in the main dining room sat open. We ordered drinks, and after they were brought out, no one ever came back to take our food order. Meanwhile, tables around us were fully serviced, while staff didn't even look in our direction. We waited over an hour for our table to be "ready." No one checked on us or gave updates--we had to track someone down ourselves, only to be met with an annoyed, dismissive attitude. Additionally, a manager approached us with a snarky, hostile comment about taking a photo with flash. It was a birthday dinner--of course we wanted to take a picture! Instead of being accommodating, the interaction just added to how unwelcome we already felt. After finally being seated, the horrible service continued. Our waitress attended to the table next to us multiple times and never once came back to check on us. After waiting that long just to be ignored again, we left and went to another restaurant nearby and had a significantly better experience. What's most concerning is that many reviews describe this exact same experience, while others claim good service. That level of inconsistency makes it hard not to feel like the restaurant is profiling guests and deciding who gets attention and who gets overlooked. We were also the only Latinas there, which makes the inconsistency even more uncomfortable and hard to ignore. Unwelcoming, rude, and not worth your time. It's clear this establishment wants to give off the impression of a high-end restaurant, but part of that experience is also providing the customer with decent service. Drinks were mid at best.
