Honestly the BEST decisions we made! Our team was incredibly fast, detailed, and so friendly. We were moving our big heavy furniture from our third floor unit (with no elevator) to storage and then to be moved cross country. Not only was Everything so protected for the cross country move, they loaded our storage unit so that we have a lot of extra space for additional items! As for the team (Alamo, Anthony, and Cesar) they were so kind and respectful of our home and possessions. We actually enjoyed our moving time together and have a very positive recollection of the move thanks to them. I cannot day how thrilled I am with the experience we had with our team. I will be hiring them again for sure, even if it is to simply load the furniture to our moving truck. read more

These guys exceeded expectations! If you want to see real movers moving your items then definitely hire Movers Best. There is no lolly-gagging (that word ha ha ha) around with them as they are not trying to extend their time...they genuinely are moving at a fast pace so be ready when they arrive. They help with everything. For example my complicated King bed had a special wrench for the bolts so I went to garage to find it and of course I couldn't find the super secret safe place I put it when I built the bed. Update August 5th, 2019: The crew showed up 10 minutes early and started hustling 9am on the dot! We can't thank Marken, Abrahm, Kalib, and Leandro enough for their superior moving service. And I can't find a better deal either. They moved a second floor 2 bedroom in OC to a second floor 2 bedroom in SD in one day and stayed energetic the whole day despite the hot weather and 2.5 hr traffic. Furniture and TV were wrapped in blankets and plastic, and they even disassembled our IKEA bed frames for us! Not to mention a 55 gallon fish tank and stand. These guys are beasts! Special Notes: The crew was very nice and always accommodating, thank you. We know they are doing the hard work for us (as I'm pretty useless with heavy lifting and my partner has back problems) so the least we could do was provide cold Gatorades/Water/Snacks for them, which I suggest for anyone using their service. Trust me, it's always appreciated. August 1st Review: We've used them once before and am now scheduling a second move with them. Simply put they did an amazing job. So much so that even though I rarely leave reviews on Yelp these days I was compelled. My girlfriend and I were moving from two separate locations to our new spot in Costa Mesa. I'd requested a two man crew, in retrospect I really should have asked for three. Mostly as I was feeling bad for the guys once it hit hour 6. To their credit they shrink wrapped and protected everything that needed it. They disassembled a truly annoying Ikea bed frame. They somehow defied physics and were able to get the just a bit too large refrigerator up the narrow staircase! As the space available for the offloaded boxes began to shrink, they maintained a very polite attitude as we directed traffic. Seriously, everything was great. But in the future I'll go with a three man team. Sure there is more initial cost, but if the 3rd guy works as hard as the other two odds are it would have been a 3.5 or 4 hour job. My review is as honest and fair as possible. My three stars are ONLY for their customer service. If I were just reviewing their customer service I'd give them five stars. Unfortunately my review covers both customer service and job done. That being said In the course of ten years I have moved over ten times and most of the times I hired a moving company and by far this was the worst moving experience out of all of my moves. Arrival was on time which was the only good thing that happened. From there I went to my new location to prepare for their arrival while my fiancé waited at the old location with the movers. An hour later I get a call that one of the movers slipped and allowed a box spring to fall from the top of our rented townhome stairs all the way to the bottom of the stairs hitting the bottom wall and creating a hole so huge both my fists could fit in it. Needless to say my landlord was livid and immediately told us we were responsible for the damage. The worker responsible said he could fix it but we chose a known contractor who just so happened to be working next door to fix instead to which the worker responsible immediately complained about the pricing of the fix and how he feels we're getting cheated. No offense but I do not know this worker from a can of paint and I do know the contractor and have seen his work in many occasions so I much rather go with someone I know not to mention our landlord made it a point to say if she was not satisfied with the repair we are still on the hook for the damage so a correct repair was imperative. To make things worse. The movers took over one hour to get to my new location. I know the commute to my new location like the back of my hand and I know by taking the 22 fwy during the 10-12 o'clock hour there is almost to no traffic at all even driving at 55 it would take 30-40min tops. I can only guess they took the 405 and based on where I used to live in N Tustin you would literally have to go out of your way to take the 405 to get to my new location and traffic on the 405 pretty much no matter the time is horrid.. I'm off the 7th street exit(22) in Long Beach so taking the 22 by the time you merged to the 405 you were exiting the fwy two miles after. This is where the customer service shined. Marken worked with me every step of the way and my entire move was discounted . For that I greatly appreciate his efforts and making me the customer satisfied. As far as the unload. I will say I should have gone with more movers as I didn't realize how much stuff we had so the unload took much longer than expected but that's on me. I get it. Things happen during a move. The problem is NO ONE LIKES TO MOVE and that being said we all want a move to go as smoothly as possible ESPECIALLY when hiring movers. The last thing we want is a horrible experience and this was the worst in regards to my actual move. As much as I praise their customer service I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

I moved today from a 2bd condo to a house. I decided to go with Movers best because of the quick and detailed response I got from Rick. I'm sure glad it did. Rafael, Ricardo and Fabiano were great. They came on time and they were constantly working and helping me clear out of the condo. I thought I'd be done in 4 hours but boy was I wrong. Had so much things crammed in my place and I wasn't completely packed. They helped me with it and they ended up being here for about 6 hours. Thank you so much. We chose Movers Best for two moves this year: first we moved our 3bed/2bath house in November. The guys were professional and worked hard loading the truck quickly but carefully. The only thing that could have improved that move would have been is having less stuff (it didn't all fit!) Our second move was smaller-moving my personal items from one classroom to a new one in a new city. Most teachers probably don't need to hire movers to transport their classroom, but after 15 years and having built an extensive library, the movers were necessary. I didn't even consider a different company. Movers Best delivered quality service again. Vlad & Dima had the truck loaded within an hour, got to our location and unloaded again efficiently and professionally. They were flexible and accommodating with the fact that the boxes had to go into a small space in the new room. I would recommend Movers Best to anyone considering a local move. read more

This was a hard review to write. They were so helpful on the phone and when I had to book last minute. Unfortunately, this was not the case during our move. The movers that they sent we're definitely trying to milk the time since they are hourly. It took them over 6 hours to move across the street (0.2 miles) for a one bedroom apartment. They sent over 3 guys and honestly it felt like only 2 guys were working. They also took a ton of breaks, which added more time to the clock... we were also making trips to our car and we would see them smoking cigarettes and sitting on the curb. When they went down to the truck it took them about 20-30 minutes to come back up. Not to mention they didn't listen to our instructions at all. I don't recommend using this moving company, they might be more affordable hourly, but then cost you more in the long run. read more

UPDATE: As promised, I am updating my review, now that my move is complete. I am definitely not thrilled. The "team" for my move in was one guy. One guy. Alone. To move everything by himself. What should have taken an hour and half AT MOST took closer to almost 4 hours. Because he was working completely alone. This was not an entire house - this was a studio apartment's worth of stuff. My mom came to town specifically to help me with the move, with the understanding that after the movers were done bringing stuff inside we could get everything unpacked the rest of the afternoon/evening. That wasn't even remotely possible given how long it took. She had to leave town and the lion's share of unpacking was up to me. Given that I'm a single mom with two dogs, it was very frustrating. Nothing was organized once it was brought inside - boxes labeled kitchen were nowhere near the kitchen, boxes for the bathroom were in the kitchen, etc. That it was a total free-for-all was most likely a product of the mover working completely ALONE, and this isn't a total deal breaker for me - it was an inconvenience at worst, so whatever. The lone mover also left ALL of the moving blankets and plastic on all the heavy furniture. I have moved a LOT and that has literally never happened to me before - where I was suddenly left to unveil all of my heaviest items, by myself, and figure out what on earth to do with 10 moving blankets plus all the extraneous plastic and tape. I asked him more than once if he was going to take them and he said no, they were mine. I complained to my contact with the company and the mover headed back to pick them up about 40 minutes later. Additionally, my tv stand is broken. The movers must have snapped the legs of the stand right out of the tv instead of removing them properly by twisting them off. Had they asked, I would have assisted or done it myself. The company is sending me replacement legs, which I sincerely appreciate. Additionally, my contact Marken was helpful and communicative. But all in all, the move in was huge disappointment. ****************** I will update once our stuff is delivered in our new city, but I just have to rave right off the bat. Communication with this company, particularly with my specific contact person Marken, has been extraordinary! Professional, kind, warm, helpful. Truly - one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. We were super impressed with their work ethic, carefulness, professionalism and they were super polite as well. They showed up on time and ready to go. They helped pack some items, took apart items, re-set up items in the new house. We are still unpacking, but have not found any broken items, scratches or dings. They were very careful with everything. From the quote to the final paperwork they were flawless. We would use them again with out any hesitation. We had a wonderful, stress-less experience with Movers Best! I called about 2 weeks before our move-in date, and their coordinator was very professional, helpful, and accommodating. We were moving out of 2 separate apartment units, into 1 townhome. We decided to go with 3 movers and paid with cash (it is $10 less per hour, 3 hour minimum). We were SO glad we went with 3 movers, because 1 of our former apartments contained more furniture and bigger items, and 2 movers allowed the team to move efficiently and faster. On the the morning of our move, I received a courtesy call that the team was on their way. The 3 movers arrived within the time frame, and they worked so well. They were very careful with our items, had all the materials to wrap the furniture, and efficiently took all the boxes down. They were also very nice and accommodating! I highly recommend going with Gustav's team (also goes by the name Gusto). Gusto is the foreman, and was very professional and helpful! Thanks to the awesome team! Great, great, great moving experience with this guys! I've been looking around for a moving company who do care about what kind of service they offer. It all started with a person on the phone Marken. He explained to me all the details of the service that they offer and I was thrilled how clearly and honest he was. We manage an appointment for a home estimate (since I've been moving my 5 bedroom house) in order to have a better picture on how many trucks and movers we might need. Estimate Day. As Marken promised, their representative Alex, provide us with a call, 20 minutes before he arrived to our address. He asked all the main question, took pictures, told us approximately how our moving process would look like. I was very impressed and from that point I realized this guys know what they doing! Moving Day, A crew of 5 men and 2 trucks arrived even earlier than we expected and that was really good, because we knew that it's gonna be a long day.
