I hired Move on Auto to transport my BMW 328i from Bakersfield, CA to Austin, TX. They picked up in time, but I had to drive to a location where the truck could safely park, which is understandable. I was out of state and was unable to be present at drop off, so we planned my son to receive and sign for the car at his residence. The driver did not call to inform me that he would be unable to get his truck to the agreed upon delivery location until 2 hours before drop off. He said that they had an agreement with Carmax and that he would drop it off at their nearest location but left out the part that it was 45 minutes from the original agreed upon drop-off. I had no one to pick the car up so I called Carmax to make sure it was safe and was told by Carmax they had no such agreement, and it would be towed within 12 hours if not removed. After my initial call to Move on the driver called me and was extremely rude and didn't give a rip about my predicament, his comment was "good luck"! I eventually was able to get the car picked up which cost me additional $ and time. Move on Auto was not helpful in getting the car delivered to the original destination from Carmax. They agreed to at least refund me some of the $ but after multiple calls they never responded. Very unprofessional! Last point, the lower front of the car was obviously scraped and damaged as it was being unloaded but the pics they sent me never showed the damage before I had to sign via email. Thats on me because I had no one to check it out at drop off. If you use this business, you better make sure you get all of the details! Once they get your $ you're at their mercy! read more

Ok, I first of all, this is a REAL REVIEW!!! I was extremely skeptical about having my car shipped from Hercules California to Annapolis Maryland. I googled different companies to see about some quotes and I got bombarded with phone calls and emails. Everyone told me to check the auto transport website or something to see reviews but I heard that those can be FAKE and some people get paid to write them. I however, was NOT PAID and I am EXTREMELY pleased!!! So with the pick up of the car, we did have a few issues as far as the driver coming when he originally called me. He came the next day by 7:30 am and picked up my car and told me he would be the person to deliver it in Maryland which was true. My car was picked up on 7/19/13 and delivered by 7:30pm on 7/26/13 :-) My car has NO dents or scratches, it was dirty on the outside but that is to be expected. I am so happy I went with this company and paid a little more for the delivery. Thanks A LOT for getting my car safely to me! If I ever need my car shipped again, I will use this company!!! ***THIEVES!!!*** I had two cars shipped by All American Trucking and Transport, Inc. While the cars and keys to them were in their position, items were stolen from BOTH cars!!! We are not taking about an opportunistic crime, there were items stolen from each cars glove boxes and trunks. Disgusting. They even acknowledged the problem, freely admitting they've had items stolen from three cars in their position in the last month alone! Tried to blame DOT employees conducting checks!!! What a bunch of jokers. They allowed items to be left in the trunk, I even checked when I talked to them on the phone, but they refused to take liability/moral responsibility for the crimes committeed with my property in their custody. The initial conversation with time arrangement was nice and professional, we appreciate them being flexible with our time during COVID. What was unexpected was waiting to be picked up took a week, and we did not get any inspection form until the car was delivered with two new scratches , and was told they do not have insurance to cover the time period between drop off and pick up. I'm clearly not an expert as majority customers do not ship cars that often, and we rely on them being the expert, but I do not see them being professional to deliver inspection form nor taking photos to record drop off conditions at all, the inspection form did not have any date to show when was it done either. read more

These guys were awesome! I felt confident in them handling the delivery of my van, and I even I got it delivered from SF to Detroit within a week of dropping it off to them in Burlingame! I went through the grind going through mulitple other brokers who give you a low bid that they put on "Central Dispatch" while you wait, never knowing if your car will ever actually get picked up (many of them actually put an even lower bid on that site so they can make a bigger profit off what they quoted you). When it came closer to the deadline of when I actually needed my van delivered, I asked around for recommendations. Multiple people (including other reputable auto carriers and even my employer) recommended I go through All-American. I believe because they've been in the business a long time, they've got great relationships with the right carriers who can get the job done right. The people at the front desk were great. Daniela was super responsive, and so was Alexander who was able to call around to find out when the van could get delivered. Would definitely not waste time with the brokers fishing on Central Dispatch with low bids, and go with these guys who actually know how much it costs to get a car delivered when you need it! read more

Used them based on a recommendation from Berger Allied. I shipped two cars with them. They used Auto Club AAA to pick up the cars because the driver was running late. They gave me a 3 day window for pick up and they couldn't even honor that which is why AAA picked them up. Upon delivery, my passenger window was rolled down and my tire was flat. I had the WORST transport experience! The Company Move Auto trusted to transport my car severely damaged my car and then did an "investigation" for 7 weeks to figure out that they are the ones who damaged it!! I hold Move Auto just as responsible for the damage as the company that caused the damage. At first the transport company denied that the damage happened during transport! Really? Who would send a car with a busted sunroof to transport? It would not even have been accepted for transport! I had a friend recommend this company and I def do too! I moved from California to Florida and this was the ONLY company that was kind to me on the phone. While they are not the best price option, I decided to go with them because 1) my friend recommended them to me and 2) they were actually nice to talk to on the phone. This goes a LONG way. I called about 8-10 companies and every single person was rude. Not these guys! The process is pretty straight forward and they tell you exactly what happens. I set up my car pick up, they gave me a range of three days, the truck driver called me to set up the exact time he plans on being at my house, we did a walk through of my car, he loaded it, drove it, brought it back to me across the country. BOOM. I have nothing but wonderful thinks to say about my truck driver, Wedge. I believe AATT contracts out (?not actually sure about this) but man Wedge is awesome. He was very communicative about when he will show up at my place (pick and drop off). There was a few hiccups but that didn't bother me. As long as my car got to me to the other side, I was happy. He is wonderful! I guess this is more a review about Wedge than the actual company but other all great experience! Let's hope I never have to use them again... I hate moving. Ha! read more

We shipped two cars from San Francisco to North Carolina through Moveauto. We dropped the cars off on Tuesday, and they arrived across the country the following Sunday. Everything was easy, including that they arranged a Lyft (Uber?) from their office to the car rental place. The driver called us Saturday night in NC, and we discussed possible meetup places that would accommodate his 18-wheeler. He met us promptly, was friendly and professional. We've moved cross-country a few times and each involved transporting our vehicles. We've had the typical horror stories occur - cars don't show up on time, company doesn't stay in touch, and one company totaled one of our vehicle and didn't tell us. We found out after the car was two weeks late (no one answered the phone at the company office during this time). I eventually contacted police departments along the route and it was they who finally located the car at a salvage yard. Anyway, long story shortened - All American Trucking and Transport, Inc. not only delivered our vehicles on time (a Lincoln MKZ and a new Chevrolet Colorado), they were in constant contact with me throughout the trip, providing updates of the driver's progress. Both cars arrived in excellent condition, without a single scratch. And, to top it off, the driver was extremely friendly and helpful. I recently had my Honda Accord shipped from Burlingame to Massachusetts and I was nervous about picking the right company. I am from the Bay Area so I was happy to choose a locally based company. When I dropped my car off, they did a very thorough inspection of the vehicle and noted all prior damage. They offered to go through each notation with me and then I handed my keys over. I liked that I could check on my car whenever I wanted to see if there were any updates to the arrival time. I didn't have a very tight timeframe for arrival so I just sat back and waited for my car to arrive. Moving is stressful and hectic and not having control over what happens to your car after you hand it over can be frightening, but I felt like I could trust All American through the whole process. They made sure that as my car was getting close to Massachusetts, the driver was in contact with me. Once it arrived, the car was in the same shape that I dropped it off (with some added dust because I chose an open transport). The driver arrived within the window he said he would and there were no hidden fees or surprises at drop-off. They allow 50 pounds of items in your car and mine was all kept in the trunk. It was mostly bedding and linens that I didn't want to fly with, so be sure you do keep it under 50 pounds. The trucks that carry your vehicle have to go through weigh stations and that's the only way I could imagine that you could get dinged with paying more. If you're questioning what company to go with, go with one that won't bug you like the rest of them after requesting a quote and go with one you can trust. I was reading transport reviews and other sites, and agree the transport industry is definitely interesting to say the least. I was about to pull the trigger on another company and am glad I saw the yelp review and other reviews on All American Trucking & Transport. By the way the name is somewhat generic so make sure to call the company in Burlingame. Alyssa and Marge were great to work with. The quote received was not the cheapest I got, but was fair quote based on what I was getting, so I was happy with it. The great service and the condition of the car more than make up for any savings if I went with a cheap but with issues option instead (glad I did not!!). Roberto was the driver and a great guy! My mom met him in Florida, he inspected the car, even let her check out the truck and meet his sweet lab dog The car arrived yesterday in great shape, dirty from the trip (snow and rain), but that was expected. I suggested to Robert to meet by a mall close by my work so it would make his life easier as far as driving the big carrier, and was a breeze. Absolutely terrible company. The only positive is that they're great communicators. The downside is, what they communicate to you isn't true. Let me provide a timeline. I was forced to cancel my flight not once, but twice because of inaccurate information from Move Auto. Below is a timeline of events. 11/29: I was told my car would be arrive either 12/2 or 12/3. 12/1: I paid $300 for a plane ticket and flew down to Washington DC and spent $130 per night in a hotel 12/2: I was told late in the day that the driver would arrive on 12/3 12/3: I was told as of this day that the driver would arrive in the evening. Later in the day I was told the driver would arrive late evening on 12/3 or early morning 12/4. At this point I had to cancel my return flight and spend another night in a hotel. The driver called me late in the day to say he was targeting 12PM (EST) on 12/4 and would call me when he was close 12/4: At 12PM (EST) I had still heard nothing and no one from your office responded to any of my calls nor let me know that you would be out of the office during the new date of delivery. At 5PM (EST) I received a call from Steph Maldonado saying the driver would be at my apartment in 15 minutes. At 5:50PM (EST) I received a call from the driver saying he was still 27 miles away and was hoping to be at my apartment in an hour. At 7:11PM (EST) the driver arrived at my apartment with my car. As a result of this miscommunication and tardiness, I missed my flight and again had to stay in a hotel read more

I'm very glad that we read reviews here before selecting a company to transport our car cross-country. It was a great experience and worked out perfectly! We're moving from California to Florida, and I've never shipped a car cross-country before. Before finding AATT, I got tons of quotes from scammy sounding brokers. They all just seemed so sketchy. After talking with AATT, even though they were a couple hundred dollars more than the lowball quotes from brokers, I felt confident that they were legit and professional. The best part about our move was that we were able to drop off our car after hours at their office in Burlingame. We were flying out of SFO on a red-eye, so this worked out GREAT. We were able to drive ourselves to the airport, park the car, drop the keys in a slot in the door, and they even gave us a free taxi to SFO. This eliminated the stress of coordinating a pickup time with the driver. They promised no more than 14 days transit time, but it arrived a whole week early. 7 days exactly. The driver (Carlos) was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. Car arrived a little dirty, but otherwise in perfect condition. Hopefully I don't need to ship a car cross country again any time soon, but if I do, I will know who to call. read more
