Just completed two shipments with Mark and his team. And they are AMAZING!…read more We have a full 2B2B of stuff moved from San Francisco Bay Area to New York in May 2025. My friend recommended Trico and I decided to go with them due to: 1. The very reasonable and affordable price; 2. The smooth communication with Mark and how considerate he is in helping us finding the best solution tailored for us. My move is a bit complicated due to a lot of uncertainties in my schedule, my move-in place and payment methods. Mark is always there to help and accommodate my various requests. The whole moving process is efficient and handled well. Our 108+ pieces of boxes arrived at New York safely and well kept. This nice process has prompted us to do another business with Mark later in May to ship our vehicle from the Bay Area to New York. Again we get a reasonable price quote and fast service. They even allow us to put stuff in trunk which helps us a lot! The only hiccup is when the driver was to pick up our car, the driver seemed to not knowing about the trunk luggage policy. It was at about 7pm PT and we got connected with Trico's after-hour service team immediately. And then things are solved! I am very happy I find Mark and his team and would definitely like to do business with them again in future!

I booked Kerb for my cross-country move from CA to MA based on the favorable quote I received…read more This initial quote, however, turned out to be a bait as they ended up charging me extra $2,000. I was told that the movers would arrive between 9am and 11am. Instead, I was given several updates from the foreman, who repeatedly gave me revised arrival times that were simply not true. At one point, he blamed traffic on a specific highway -- yet a quick check of live traffic data showed that route was completely clear. The crew finally showed up at nearly 3pm -- four hours late -- completely blowing through the reservation window I had secured with my building for elevator and loading dock access. I attempted multiple times to reach customer support at the number advertised on their website. Not once did I get through. Their customer service line put me on hold and played music for a few minutes and disconnected. To add insult to injury, after the packing was done, I was handed an additional charge of over $2,000 on top of the original quote -- this, after hours of delay and disorganization entirely on their end. The job should have wrapped by 3pm. We didn't finish until well after 6pm, creating further complications for my move-out schedule. If that weren't enough, the vehicle transport I paid for was delayed by at least four days due to truck repairs -- information I only received after paying. I'm flying out of state before my car can even be picked up. When I received my household items, there were several damaged items. I expect to find more as I unpack my boxes.

In October 2023, we hired Kerb to move most of our furniture and other items from the D.C. Region…read moreto Northern California. On the basis of that experience, we are giving Kerb a 1-star rating. On the day of the move, Kerb's D.C. Area crew damaged one pathway light and one copper post cap on our property. While in transit, more than 20 pieces of furniture were damaged, including an expensive, hand-constructed dining table. The cost to repair and refinish the dining table and one leaf will be $1,100. Three lamps and four lampshades, all of which Kerb's D.C. Area crew had packed, were damaged beyond repair. When we promptly submitted a detailed summary of the damage, the response from Kerb's Customer Care Department was not just inadequate, but unapologetically silent on its movers' lack of care in handling our belongings during transit. Additionally, none of the insurance options that Kerb had offered would have made us whole upon taking into account the cost of the insurance and the corresponding deductibles. Because Kerb failed to deliver our furniture intact, and because Kerb's D.C. Area crew did not instill any confidence whatsoever, we do not recommend this mover to anyone else who is planning a cross-country move. Nor do we intend to hire Kerb again to transport our remaining belongings to Northern California.

The military relocation process presented several unexpected challenges, but your team stepped in when others couldn't and delivered exactly what was promised. The level of support and responsiveness I received exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I truly appreciate all of the hard work that went into coordinating my shipment and ensuring everything arrived on time and without issues. Thank you again for helping make my move significantly easier. I would absolutely recommend your services to anyone needing a reliable and professional moving team.

Just make sure the shipper is registered with federal authorities. I got a referral for ShipCar24 from a friend who worked with them several times. I called in got great support from the team. Pricing was on the higher end of the bids nevertheless very good support. They assigned the transporter. Juan was driving the transporter. He called me to notify arrival (I was remote). Worked with my daughter. Loaded the car. My daughter had all of our end of college goods loaded (no issue). Juan was great. Notified us about the status. He even charged our car overnight (since the battery was dead). He arrived next day. (San Francisco to San Diego) Notified me about his ETA. Arrived on time. We unloaded the car at the mechanic. We picked up my daughters belongings. Paid partially upon pickup and paid the remainder upon delivery. Great experience. Great service and support.

I used this company to move from Seattle to Washington, DC cross country. Everyone I dealt with has…read morebeen exceptionally nice, but nice doesn't matter to me when after waiting a full month for my stuff to arrive, nearly all of the large items are damaged beyond repair. The company insisted I pay hundreds extra to crate sensitive items, like a marble top TV console, only to use the marble top as a packing surface and scratch it all up on the packing day AND THEN it arrives and I find out they did not even crate the piece properly, but instead ripped the marble which had been screwed in and glued on to the base off the top and now it can't be put back in place properly. I had to throw out large irreplaceable items that i paid hundreds to ship and will pay thousands to replace like my bar cabinet because it was so poorly wrapped in transit that the base got bent and whole piece is now unstable. The face of the cabinets had actual holes punched into it. This kind of damage takes significant effort to make! The movers unpacking me were incredibly surprised by the state in which things arrived and kept directly saying how negligent the packers and transport must have been. The claims process for damages unfortunately only accounts for items by their weight at 60 cents per pound, so the amount I am being offered by Long Distance Movers to replace several large furniture items and LOTs of other items is laughable and won't even cover half of the replacement for one single piece of furniture they ruined. They won't refund the shipping of items they ruined beyond repair. This goes beyond normal wear and tear that occurs during a move -- these damages are so extensive they show a complete lack of care for my items while they were in transit and total improper packing. This was my first cross country move and it was done during a very stressful time in my life. I've learned my lessons about scrutinizing the damage policy and micromanaging the package process and insisting items be actually taken apart as was supposed to be part of my contract. However, I would never trust this company to move anything for me again. They clearly are not professionals or their own movers would not have been so disparaging of their work while helping me unpack the disarray that arrived.
