I hired them to move a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a baby grand piano. The final cost was almost $4,000, which I believe is extremely overpriced for this type of move. The original quote is less than $2000. The movers did continue working, but the pace was very slow. The full move took about 17 hours, far beyond the original 8-hour booking, which resulted in significant additional charges. The piano moving fee was especially frustrating. The listed piano moving charge was $320, but at the end of the day, I was told that the $320 only covered two hours of work. Because three people were involved, the piano took about four hours, and additional fees were added, the piano move alone ended up costing around $1,000. This was not clearly explained upfront, and I consider this a hidden-fee issue. The piano move also did not seem efficient. It took three people about four hours to move the baby grand piano. From my previous experience with professional piano movers, the same type of work took no more than about one hour. This made me question whether they had the right level of piano-moving expertise. The move was also not easy for us as customers. They asked us to move some valuable items ourselves, such as screens, because wrapping and moving them might take longer. As a result, while they were packing and moving, we were also carrying items ourselves. It felt like we became additional unpaid movers during a move that we had already paid professionals to handle. They also used large reusable cloth boxes and required us to empty and return them during the move. This meant that while they were moving other items into the house, we had to clean out and organize those large boxes ourselves. This added a lot of extra physical work and stress. My previous movers used disposable wardrobe or cloth boxes, which made the process much easier. Their labeling was also very poor. They appeared to reuse old boxes that already had marker labels on them, and they did not consistently label every box. Some boxes had missing labels, while others had incorrect or unclear labels. Because of this, we spent the rest of the week trying to figure out where our belongings were. The move was not thorough either. Even after we told them to move an entire room, we still had to take another trip back to collect many small items they left behind. This created more work, more time, and more frustration after an already exhausting move. Overall, this was a terrible moving experience. The final price was much higher than expected, the piano fee was not clearly explained, the move took far too long, and we still had to do a lot of work ourselves before, during, and after the move. I would not hire this company again, and I would warn anyone considering them to think carefully, get every fee in writing, and compare other options first.

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! The move was completed in a little under 4 hours from SF to Oakland. I paid the hourly rate + gas fee and decided to pay them the rounded up hourly rate as the tip. They kept pushing against that in person and also called me 5 minutes later to say I hadn't tipped enough and there was a minimum. This was not stated before hand and is also not listed anywhere on their yelp page or website. I have never experienced this before and considering their rates are high I was very frustrated with this customer service. My home was also left messy. Pieces of plastic and bits of debris were left on the floor and the plastic wrap used to protect items was not removed at my new home. Adding to hours of extra work. The tip harassment really pushed me over the edge. I wouldn't hire them again, which is unfortunate because their thoroughness in other areas was appreciated. I've recommended many friends to my old movers but they don't service this area. Customer service like this means no repeat business and no recommendation which is much more financial loss over time compared to a slightly higher tip. Maybe think about the outcome before you call your customers asking for more?

We had a challenging move from downtown S.F. to Berkeley, to a house that is in the middle of multiple construction projects. Yet they made everything feel easy. I had gotten food poisoning the day before and we were stressing because we hadn't yet finished packing. But it was no problem--they loaded the truck with the items that were ready to go while we packed the rest. Make sure to ask for Joseph and his team (Fernando and Victor). They arrived a little early so they'd be ready and were the utmost professional while also being a warm and friendly team of guys. We would have them over dinner any time. Because of Joseph I'm now convinced that moving is both an art and an athletic feat. We had a recliner (100lbs) and a treadmill (200lbs) that were too wide to go through a doorway--and yet he maneuvered them effortlessly through without a scratch on either.

Eddie was my private personal customer representative from being to end. I was even able to book Santiago come out to my unit and do an in-person video estimate. He was extremely professional, thanks Santiago! Eddie and Santiago were absolutely amazing! My 3 man crew was exceptional and professional! These guys are super good at their job! They are the hardest and most careful working crew I've ever seen in my life! I am a very considerate, professional and fair business woman. Based on the original estimate of 5 to 6 hours for the job I had pre-envelopes made for all three of the workers with $50 per hour as a tip so that was an additional $150. Now,I must be honest and I did text Eddie when I noticed another hidden charge on my bill for materials $90.00, I was told tape and wrapping was included! Plus, I had all my own boxes. But, Eddie never replied back to my surprise based on the quick response he would give me before booking them for the job! That made me feel like: "We are done with the job and got paid, so we don't need to answer any of your questions any more"! I also, wanted to tell Eddie that there were 2 long picture frames(holding 21-4x7 photos) cracked/damaged and they cost me $100.00. My original estimate was around 5 to 6 hours it took them 8 hours with a grand total of $1,837.76 I'm here right now that would add the $90 hidden fee of materials and subtract $100 of a down payment deposit. Plus, I gave all three workers $50 tips individually! So, that was an additional $150.00, with a grand total $1,987.97 so, basically $2K all day! I also provided a case of ice water bottles for the workers. Me and my son assisted/helped packing up things too! My son was my translator because one could not speak English and the other one spoke or understood very little English and the third one could speak English very well! So, thank God my son was there and he speaks Spanish it's his 2nd language. So, I really wasn't in a hurry to post this review! But hopefully, they will reach out to me once they read this and make things right! Plus, I was extreamly sick and busy after they moved me! I never really got around to leaving a review. We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company and would not use them again…read more We were quoted $1,900 at the high end, and we intentionally overestimated our inventory and time to avoid surprises. Despite that, the final cost came out to nearly $3,000, and over $4,000 total with deposit and tip, which was completely unexpected and unreasonable. To add context, just weeks before the move I had broken my back in three places, and the company was aware of this. We were forced to move quickly because I could no longer safely go up and down stairs, and we were already losing our rental deposit due to the sudden move. They also knew we were working within limited financial means. On moving day, the truck they brought was too small, which created delays right away. The crew initially worked quickly and cleared the downstairs efficiently, but when we positively commented on how fast they were moving, the pace upstairs noticeably slowed down. From that point on, we were being charged overtime as the job dragged out. We were kind and accommodating throughout, we even provided food for the crew, but the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily prolonged. The most frustrating part: not everything was moved. Some of our belongings were left behind, and we ultimately lost them because we couldn't retrieve them from the landlord in time. When we reached out to the owner after seeing the final charges, we were told they did nothing wrong. Every concern we raised was brushed off, and there was no accountability or willingness to address what happened. Overall, what was supposed to be a $1,900 move turned into a $4,000+ stressful ordeal with poor planning, slow execution, missing items, and no follow-up support. Given the circumstances we were in, the lack of care and transparency was especially upsetting. We would not recommend this company.
