We won't be going back. We went to the restaurant and tried to order 2 salads and a large pizza. Because we were in person, we had to use the salad buffet which was infested with fruit flies. I even spotted a fruit fly trap by the soda machine. The kids were swatting flies off our food during the meal so we ended up leaving. $60 bill for 3 kids and 1 adult. Tried this local pizza place out for the first time since it was part of my kid's fundraising for her school. Mountain Mike's business has a fundraising with locals on their website, which is pretty cool. Also, they have lots of options. Some quick notes about their food, and a comment regarding the service. Pizzas, all meat version, was really good. Evenly spread of toppings, cheese good, the sauce a little bit tangy and salty. 14" Large pizza cost $28. This is pretty much the same price range of another Round pizza place. I would say they are both solid pizzas, but the toppings are a bit more plentiful at the other place. Service was for take out. The place is clean, nicely spaced out, and would be a good choice for small to medium groups. There are options for outside patio dining. The one star marked down was the main 'manager' person that seemed flustered that day. Because it was for a fundraiser, it may have caused an influx of too many people visiting in a short period of time, but this person seemed to be bothered by myself, and two other customers there to support the business and our school when the mention of the fundraiser comes up. That demeanor also resonated to the other younger staff members, as they also seem flustered. (Possible training at the time?) I would still visit this place again to see if it was just that day that made the visit awkward. read more

When I complained, they would not honor the sign and only gave me the option to not get the beer. The person working the register said they adjust happy hour to end at 5pm. I noticed there wasn't any vegetarian pizza and upon telling Ingrid she made two full veggie pizzas fresh, which was so awesome and accommodating. The salad bar was OK nothing special. Ya'll... I wasn't expecting much from Mountain Mike's since it's a chain but I was soooo wrong. We ordered a small Chicken Club ($17.99) small Pepperoni pizza ($13.99). The small pizza is noted as 10 pieces but they are pretty mini slices you could probably finish in about 3 bites - depending on how much you love pizza and can fit in your belly, you just might be able to finish the entire small. I LOVE LOVE LOVE crust and even though there wasn't much "crust" on the pizza because the entire pizza is almost filled with toppings, the bottom crust was absolutely delicious. Crispy, airy crust with the perfect amount of chew. Definitely one of my new favorite pizza spots in the area! read more

I came in on Saturday for the first time & was greeted by Ingrid, she was very helpful & patient with us as well as recommending different items, to which we enjoyed. She definitely took care of us & we will be back due to her. A pretty big disaster. I showed up to pick up my order at 5:30- the time the website said my order would be ready when I placed it online. I walked out with my order at 6:20. I knew what I was in for because I watched this happen to every other person coming in to pick up an order. I don't know what happened, but I've never seen a place fall so behind so quickly. Some people had been waiting 40 mins and their orders weren't even in the oven. I felt bad for the staff- everyone was working hard, they just didn't have enough support to keep up. The young lady working at the counter was fantastic. I felt terrible for her, but she handled herself incredibly well. She was direct, apologetic, and helpful with everyone. She didn't create these fires, but she worked hard to put them out. Management here needs to figure out how to solve these problems- the staff and customers were all put in bad situations and problems like this can and should be fixed with better support and systems. And now the food. Putting the wait aside and just judging it based on what it is, it was good. Not great, but good. Good flavor and it's nice that they're generous with the pepperoni. I didn't care for the crust- it's thick and very heavy. We also got garlic bread that had waaaay too much garlic spread on it. You could twist the bread and watch it drip off. I wouldn't turn down the food, but there wasn't enough good to make me want to come back soon. And unless they figure out how to manage orders and provide proper pick up times, I won't come anywhere near this place. read more

Always delicious!! I've been here a few times and each time the pizza was delicious and piping hot. The potato wedges are also good! The inside is pretty small compared to other locations. I am extremely disappointed that we had such a horrible experience for the 2nd time at this location. I won't even count the 1st incident because they had just barely opened 2 weeks prior, so that wasn't a big deal. But I'm definitely not pleased with what we experienced this past weekend by using their delivery service. They told us the food would be delivered in 60 minutes, yet we got it 2 hours later. We spent over $80 for food that had to be microwaved once it was delivered. That is not okay! It addition to the food being cold, the pizza dough was not even cooked thoroughly, as it was still kind of gooey in some parts. I'm really bummed about this place :( I was super excited when they first came to Brea because the food at the Rancho Cucamonga location was always phenomenal! I have always had great pizza and service at Mountain Mike's Northern California locations. I was excited when MM opened their Brea location a few miles from my home. Last night I had my third bad experience at the Brea restaurant. I ordered a medium pizza online. I requested thin crust in the comments section and it showed "thin crust" on my confirmation. I arrived 10 minutes after the designated pickup time and the pizza wasn't ready. I was told 5 or 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later my pizza arrived. It was lukewarm but I didn't say anything at the time since it was getting late and I was hungry. I got the pizza home and the crust was regular thickness and it was not completely cooked. So in addition to waiting under the heat lamp while I was sitting patiently, my pizza wasn't completely cooked. This was the third time I had a negative experience at this location. The last time they couldn't find my online order. The time before they also under cooked the pizza. When I pay also $30 for a pizza, I expect good service and a great tasting pizza. This location provides neither. I am done with Mountain Mike's Brea. Pepz Pizza is just as good and they never screw up my order. read more

Last Sunday was the first time we tried Mountain Mike's Pizza. My son and I go pick it up. On the way home he has the pizzas on his lap. we get home. he gets out of the car and his shorts were soaked with grease from the pizza box. I tell him to change so I can wash the shorts to get the grease out. I had to wash them twice and the grease did not come out. ruined a perfectly good pair of shorts. Get in the house our pizza was so greasy the pepperoni had so much grease in the little pepperonis had a dab it with a napkin to absorb it. I called Mountain Mike's they really didn't seem to care. They said they would have the owner Raj call me never did. Pizza wasn't all that great for the price After a couple of days of this review Mountain Mikes reached out to me. Nancy is wonderful. I ordered from mountain mikes, not a delivery service, specifically because I wanted my pizza to come out of the oven and directly into an employees car and to me. I didn't want my pizza sitting on the counter waiting for a delivery driver who doesn't give a f about their job to deliver it to me. They are not representing mountain mikes, they have nothing to lose and no reason to deliver the pizza to me or have all the items in the order. I placed the order at 3:55p, it was promised by 4:40p. Which was great bevause I'm babysitting and the kids are hungry. Well, the pizza has been sitting on the counter or in the back of the door dashers car for god knows how long. It didn't get here until 5:15 and it was cold and hard. This is an awful experience. If I knew it was gonna be thru DoorDash I would have ordered thru DoorDash but I didn't want to because I wanted hot food. This is so messed up and not the experience I was looking for. I love mountain mikes too. It's my favorite. And this is what y'all are doing.
