Surprisingly, this place has stepped up in the last few months. They do have some sort of hotpot option going on, but the bigger improvement was the selection of food. Yes, the price has gone up as a result, but they have way more options on par with more expensive places. On the weekend/dinner, they now have a chilled seafood section with items that aren't covered in any type of sauce including, but not limited to; raw oysters, crab legs, abalone, crawfish. They still have their steamed dungeness crab, fried crab, and craw fish boils. I don't think these updates have caught on yet because those premium items aren't attacked like donuts at a police department. At most buffets, you see people walking away with stacked plates with none left for you when you're third in line. This place usually keeps a steady supply. The only thing that sucks is the single serve ice cream. I know it's more sanitary, but soft serve and scooped ice cream would really put that place in the next tier up for Asian buffets. read more

If you're someone who likes to eat a lot but doesn't care about flavor then this is the place for you! The food is all okay at best with the fresh fruit actually being tasty and refreshing, although it could be chilled a little more. The meats are actually not bad either, a little chewy but if you don't mind that then you'll be fine. I didn't try the seafood or sushi myself but I was told by members of my party that the those are also okay at best but most of the food was bland. The servers are all very friendly and don't seem to forget about clearing plates or taking drink orders which I did really appreciate so I hope they never change that and thank you for providing great service. Decently priced for the weekend buffet. It's nothing special but they give you crabs (small) , oyster and grilled meat. The grilled me was the best tasting and you should get that. They used frozen seafood which was a bit disappointing. You do get a lot of choices. I like the hot sour soup and the fried fish. The low score was the service. I don't expect good service at a Chinese buffet and usually when I dined out, I rather them leave me alone than coming over to ask how is it, etc. The servers don't come often enough to clear the dirty plates. They also argued with us a bit about the bill. We had a party of 38 diners on a Sunday and only 17 of us got the soft drinks but they charged 21 of us with drinks. We took it up to the server that they overcharged us and he argued for a long time. The manager eventually came out and took some of the charges out but we were still overcharged for $87! We didn't want to argue anymore so we paid the revised bill. It was hours later when my sister did the whole calculation again and found out we were $87 overcharged. So if you're going with a party of 5 or more, CHECK YOUR BILL to see if they overcharged you. Again they charged us 21 drinks when only 17 of us got soft drinks. The rest of us (21) got water. I honestly enjoyed the food here more than I expected, especially the seafood, which was the main reason I decided to give this buffet a try. The seafood tasted fresh, and I was happy to find that the crab meat was firm and flaky instead of soft and mushy. The crab legs were on the smaller side, but for a weekend buffet that's only about $27, I wasn't expecting giant Las Vegas-style crab legs. My only complaint was that the crab legs section wasn't refilled as often as I would've liked. On my last round, there were mostly small leftover pieces, so I wish they had kept it stocked a little better. Here's what I thought of the items I tried: -Crab Legs: Fresh, not overly salty. A little small, but still my favorite item. -Stone Crab: Not very meaty. It took a lot of work for just a few bites. -Salt & Pepper Shrimp & Sauced Shrimp: I'm not usually a shrimp person, but I actually enjoyed both. They were juicy and nicely seasoned without being overpowering. -Fried Chicken Wings: Unfortunately, these were a bit dry. -Honey Walnut Shrimp: Pretty good. The shrimp still had a nice bite, and the sauce wasn't overly sweet or heavy. -Whole Fish: Another pleasant surprise. It was flavorful with a delicious sauce that paired well with the fish. 7/12/26 My family and I have been here at least 3 times in the last couple of months. We normally come on a Friday night, but this week, we decided to come on a Saturday instead. I was very surprised to find they had snow crab legs, lychee fruit and salmon at the Mongolian grill area. Each time I come, I seem to find something different to enjoy. I truly am impressed with this buffet. Everything is so fresh and there is such a variety and foods to satisfy any palate. Not only that, they keep reloading the good food. My faves: stone crab, fried crab, snow crabs. I guess I am just a crabby person. Mongolian grill, love the rib eye, kalbi and ribeye shabu meat. So fresh and delicious. The service is great. Good prices and great value for an untimed AYCE Asian buffet! There's a lot of variety ranging from standard Chinese restaurant dishes like stir-fried seafood, veggies, and meats to a Mongolian BBQ station, a deep-fried foods section, fresh fruit and desserts, and a cold seafood bar. Flaming Buffet is an Asian AYCE that attempts to be everything to everyone but in the process not be great in anything. They have Chinese, sushi, hot pot, Mongolian, seafood and dessert. None of it I found that enjoyable. On a busy weekend evening, the place was a little chaotic, uneven in quality, and not tidy. There's lots of parking since it is inside a plaza, but if you want to park close to the buffet, it is a little difficult since not far away, it shares the parking lot with the korean burger place that open up recently. The place is big enough to have big groups of people and they even have a party room as well. Service was quick. Now to the good part, for a weekend, the price is reasonable for about $25. Parking was not bad but not good, the way the coffee place with their cones in the way and drive thru line for lotteria are nearby makes it seem like a mission to navigate... so we parked a bit far and just walked over. I was a bit hesitant at first since most Asian buffets started going down on quality and not much in keeping their food up to par such as replenishments. We came for a Sunday lunch so not too crowded but decent amount of people. Staff were very helpful, cleaned up and refilled our drinks in a timely manner. The place had plenty of seating and since the seating area surrounded the food area it was easy to navigate in and out. I'd like to point out some good food items I got which were the fried chicken wings (crispy and juicy when fresh), chicken feet (dimsum style and I love the flavor), crab heads (fried and lots of inners to eat), roasted duck (actually really good and plenty), baked mussels (creamy), and hibachi style grill (tried the meats only and it was delicious). Ice cream are in cup containers which is easy to grab, I'm not a fan of self serve scoops since most of the time they aren't very clean. Sushi was ok, rice had a bit more vinegar, but the raw fish my family said was good. They also liked the watermelon which they said was very sweet and crisp. They also liked the sweet potato's which were baked in foil and ready to grab near the grill. I did try some things I probably won't get again which was the shuimai (small and unusual taste), orange chicken (soggy and sour), coconut shrimp (ok but shrimp was tough), clams (a bit fishy), and spare ribs (tough and dry). Restrooms are gendered and have enough of stalls compared to other buffets which usually have 2-3. They were pretty clean and kept well when we went. Ugh.. hate writing bad reviews and I've generally liked this place, but daughter and i just went for "dinner" and they charged dinner prices but it was just all cold leftover scraps from lunch.. partly my fault for going early, but assumed it's Friday dinner and they're usually busy weekends so they'd be bringing out fresh food but they never did. The first thing I step into this place is how they have a variety of food bar going from fried food, habachi, fruits, seafood, ice cream, soup, and more. Today, I got a few plates on seafood. The crab legs were decent lots of juice & not much flavor had to use lemon, salt, and pepper to dip the crab meat. There were some part of crab leg that was soft. They walk a thin line between the food being inedible and edible. I really dislike places like this, but my parents really wanted to go. We went during dinner time and paid the premium. They skimp on premium options of course, food is barely there I was scared to even try some of the dishes, not that many premium options really - they didn't refill my coke but charged me $2.99 for it.... This kind of thing is definitely something I have not seen at any Chinese buffet until now. Overall, for the most part, there were a good number of dishes that were actually pretty good! In particular, some of the most noteworthy include: - Fried small crabs, which was seasoned very well. This was my favorite dish of the night, I came back twice to get this specific dish - Steamed crab legs on top of the ice I walked past when I entered - Orange chicken, you honestly can't beat that, period! - Mini bundt cakes for dessert. I got chocolate and red velvet. Although they were a bit dry, they tasted pretty good, and I've never seen mini bundt cakes at a Chinese buffet before Honestly, for an all you can eat Chinese buffet at roughly ~$30 per person including tax and tip, given what this specific place offers, I would definitely come back again! The food was great and so was the customer service. Everything was great until I used the bathroom. Our church group has frequented this buffet restaurant more than other buffets. The food has been good enough to get our group to go again and again. The price is still reasonable and the food variety is good enough for my friends to want to go again and again. However, for me I felt that the quality of food need to be upgraded as for me, the taste was not that exceptional for me to want to go there again and again as my friends did.
