Flaming Buffet is an Asian AYCE that attempts to be everything to everyone but in the process not be great in anything. They have Chinese, sushi, hot pot, Mongolian, seafood and dessert. None of it I found that enjoyable. On a busy weekend evening, the place was a little chaotic, uneven in quality, and not tidy. But the staff was diligent in doing best but it's hard to do when the restaurant is packed. We went due to a 10% off coupon. It's a good deal considering the variety of choices. But don't expect to be wowed by anything, except maybe how stuffed you feel.

Staff is friendly. Food is fresh. Place is clean. This ACE place is one of the best sea food buffets. They have great options for everyone from sea food, meat, noodles, salad, and sides... plus always fully stocked. Especially during the weekends where they have oysters, crab legs, and steak for their mongolian barbecue. Lily and Mia are so friendly and attentive, and no matter how busy, they check on us our table regularly... and all smiles.

Met Lily so nice & was our waitress too! She brought out our drinks requested only water since warm weather for these Easter Sunday. First time trying this restaurant on a Holiday since Easter Sunday. Unbelievable didn't double or triple price what other restaurant reason its a Holiday. They kept there same regular price. ALL the FOOD was Delicious prepared season perfectly and top of all even the kiddies will enjoy. Have chicken nuggets, pizza, etc. And LOVED there rice noodle we call it Pansit. Looks pale but when I taste was so good. Ate 2 plate full, didn't eat any rice with different dishes just my rice noodle. Shout out to All the Chef's & line cooks who prepared all these dishes. ALL was so DELICIOUS!) Highly recommend & will be back when visiting our son or special occasions. Or just CRAVING there YUMMY dishes. Thanks again Lily you made our Easter Sunday Special

Korean buffet with special deal limited time, free hot pot with wagyu beef, mutton, raw oyster, frog legs, seafood ect. I picked the Korean tofu broth, similar to Japanese miso soup, very tasty. For the price, flaming is a very good value with the freshest food among all Asian buffets. Highly recommended.

Service was excellent, the variety of foods was pretty good. I just wish that foods that have been sitting get cycled out. We were seated further away from the buffet area, but the staff did well making their rounds over to us. I feel like their ROI foods don't hit that well, Crawfish sat to long, it was kinda gross still edible just had to toss more then half. Crab legs came out kinda late for me ( I just miss the timing)

This place is not bad to get your asian buffet cravings fix or if you plan to eat a lot. There's lots of parking since it is inside a plaza, but if you want to park close to the buffet, it is a little difficult since not far away, it shares the parking lot with the korean burger place that open up recently. The place is big enough to have big groups of people and they even have a party room as well. Service was quick. Now to the good part, for a weekend, the price is reasonable for about $25. You get mongolian grill that have short ribs and steak, dim sum, sushi (and sashimi), seafood, and dessert bar. They have great options, but some of the quality is not that good or it is okay, thus the loss of a star. Highly recommend getting the short ribs and enjoy their seafood options!

This was my first time coming to this buffet spot. The first thing I step into this place is how they have a variety of food bar going from fried food, habachi, fruits, seafood, ice cream, soup, and more. Today, I got a few plates on seafood. The crab legs were decent lots of juice & not much flavor had to use lemon, salt, and pepper to dip the crab meat. There were some part of crab leg that was soft. The clams were good & decent & great flavor. The crawfish was decent as well. I tried the meat and it was great flavor and delicious. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I would only come here if I'm near the Fullerton area.

Not a bad Asian buffet for the price and food! Parking was not bad but not good, the way the coffee place with their cones in the way and drive thru line for lotteria are nearby makes it seem like a mission to navigate... so we parked a bit far and just walked over. I was a bit hesitant at first since most Asian buffets started going down on quality and not much in keeping their food up to par such as replenishments. We came for a Sunday lunch so not too crowded but decent amount of people. Staff were very helpful, cleaned up and refilled our drinks in a timely manner. The place had plenty of seating and since the seating area surrounded the food area it was easy to navigate in and out. I'd like to point out some good food items I got which were the fried chicken wings (crispy and juicy when fresh), chicken feet (dimsum style and I love the flavor), crab heads (fried and lots of inners to eat), roasted duck (actually really good and plenty), baked mussels (creamy), and hibachi style grill (tried the meats only and it was delicious). Ice cream are in cup containers which is easy to grab, I'm not a fan of self serve scoops since most of the time they aren't very clean. Sushi was ok, rice had a bit more vinegar, but the raw fish my family said was good. They also liked the watermelon which they said was very sweet and crisp. They also liked the sweet potato's which were baked in foil and ready to grab near the grill. I did try some things I probably won't get again which was the shuimai (small and unusual taste), orange chicken (soggy and sour), coconut shrimp (ok but shrimp was tough), clams (a bit fishy), and spare ribs (tough and dry). Restrooms are gendered and have enough of stalls compared to other buffets which usually have 2-3. They were pretty clean and kept well when we went. Overall with the price of $120 total for an adult and 3 seniors plus drinks, it was pretty worth it!

Pleasantly surprised across the board! I've passed by flaming buffet and looked at their Yelp page a few times before actually visiting, didn't expect much but, for less than $20 for lunch, this place is a hidden gem! Nowadays, just because you're going to a buffet doesn't mean you're getting value. Flaming buffet hit the mark with price, selection, and overall taste of food! Service was prompt when cleaning dishes, the ambience is straight forward, no frills but clean (that's really all that matters) and it wasn't too loud which always provides for a more enjoyable meal Will be back!!

TLDR: It's $20 for a dinner buffet on the weekday that comes with a Mongolian station and seafood options. 3.5 stars that I rounded up to 4 because Yelp doesn't do half stars. If you want a boatload of food but don't want to spend too much, this is the place. Food: It's alright. You get a bunch of options that are more than what most restaurants that charge $13-16 per order will give you. I think I covered a good amount of food that they had, and I couldn't find a bad option. Nothing was amazing per se, but enough good things were there to find a guilty pleasure reason to come back. The Mongolian station is a godsend as it provides a more "quality" feel to the establishment, as it makes freshly made food that offers a more dynamic flavor palette. Ice cream was a good way to close the meal. Service: You only interact with the staff when looking for a seat, paying, and the one dude in the Mongolian station. You see the person clearing plates from tables, but I think it's amazing that he clears the plates when I'm not at my table. Overall, everyone was professional, and I'm not complaining about it. Ambiance: It's a sizable location that is maintained well. You get a lot of walking space, and the tables are a good size. I'm slightly worried, though if it's a full house because the buffet area might get overwhelmed.

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

I highly recommend sitting at the bar for the full experience, where you can interact directly with the chef. We've been here twice now, revisiting a few favorites and trying some new dishes the second time, and everything has been consistently outstanding. The cebiche is an absolute must-try, and you can't go wrong with anything in the Nikkei section--we've tried most of them, and every single one delivers.
