    Big Mama

I love this place. We get the Big Mama pizza whenever we're in town here. The pizza is a whopping 28 inches in diameter so it's a perfect pizza spot, if you have a big party. It's almost become a tradition whenever we all get together.

It was okay not worth $28 for one large pizza, I would recommend lowering prices or offering deals otherwise I would not recommend sorry.

    Pepperoni pizza!

The Pepperoni pizza was very good. Cheese on it was very tasty. Has a old school ms pac man game. 25 cents too lol. Tv to watch soccer/futbol. Mom and pops vibes! And the ladies working thereare so nice! And the crust was soft.

omg! if you need a pizza for a party come to Rosa's! look at how huge the Big Mama is. and so delicious! every time i come in, whoever's behind the counter is so friendly and kind. i also love the actual restaurant, very nostalgic atmosphere-- they even have 50c sticker machines.

King sized pepperoni and pineapple pizza!

Great experience! The pizza is amazing! If you live in, or close to Placentia, Rosa's Pizza is a must!

Charged 15% tax without any explanation. Refused to let us use the bathroom. Used to come here in high school but never again. Rude.

When paying surprised the machine didn't ask for a tip and they don't charge $ for ranch!! The quality of ingredients is has a freshness to it. The cuts of the veggies like black olives or mushrooms were not small and did not disappoint. They do not skimp on the cheese, there was lots of it that gave you the "cheese pull." The dough is very soft and fluffy!! Plus it didn't taste greasy or anything! Place is bigger than I thought too and plenty of searing with a tv. Not many people there at 5:30-6:00pm for a Friday night, but a few people carrying out. I would recommend and can't wait to go back!

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. You order at the counter and then you wait. Keep in mind deep dish takes a long time to cook so you can order ahead and if you don't, the weight is about 45 minutes. That wait is definitely worth it! They have a huge location with a large parking lot, however note that this does fill up. Especially during weekends, big games, etc. We came on a Sunday during a game AND movie night, but were able to secure a place to park with some patience. Again, the place is huge. They had two bars open AND a booth outside selling canned drinks. There is lots of seating inside and outside. It was honestly hard for me to wrap my head around the size of the place! I also liked that they had multiple restrooms around the building. They have a very impressive beer and seltzer collection. You can get various sizes or a whole pitcher for the table. You do order food outside separately at the X Eats area. This is a food truck setup, but they did have an impressive amount of options. Food took a little while (understandable given the volume of people there), but it came out hot and fresh. The pizza had a nice flavor that featured jalapeño and pineapple. They also had a featured dessert that was a banana egg roll with ice cream and a wonderful ube syrup. Overall, I had a great time and would love to come back again!

This is my new go to place for pizza and I've been telling my fellow foodies in the area about it…read more Let me preface this review by saying that I'm usually a Pizza Hut customer and had been pretty happy with my local location, great pizza, frequent discounts and friendly service. I came across Pizza Guys, because my child's school was running a fundraiser here, so I didn't have high expectations, I mean, it's a fundraiser after all... Wow was I in for a surprise! There are 3 reasons why I would give a restaurant my business, all 3 reasons being equally important. One, it has to be yummy. The pizza here was surprisingly yummy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Two, the price has to be right. The prices were reasonable and when they run a sale, I am getting excellent value for my money. Three, it should have decent service at a minimum. This is where it blew me away! The service here was not only excellent, it was the kind that retains customers and loyalty. In fact, I will buy from this location regardless of whether there was an active sale at the time and even if the location is out of my way. The people at the Katella location are usually friendly and nice. However, the dynamic duo that has earned my loyalty to this location are Bruno and Josh. Long story short, my kids like their pizza square cut, but at some point, the app ordering system was changed so that I can no longer choose that option and it's too much hassle to call in every time, so I went several orders/months with the typical cut/slice. When I went in last night for my app placed pizza, I was happy to see that Bruno and Josh were behind the counter, since I hadn't seen them in a long time (I've been visiting on their off days), but what surprised me was that Bruno actually remembered that I prefer my pizza square cut and Josh had the pizza/toppings just the way my kids like it. The guys did that for me, without my asking! Wow!!! I can't believe that Bruno actually remembered my preference after all this time!!! As busy and lazy as I am, I feel compelled to write this review, because what they did was above and beyond expectations. Bruno and Josh are young men, I have no doubt that if/when they outgrow this location, just the attitude and attention to detail alone, both essential entrepreneur mindsets, will get them far in life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have their own franchised Pizza Guys locations later and I'd be one of the first customers to visit and say, I told you so! ;)

Horrible experience and extremely poor customer service…read more On Father's Day, my husband wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We were seated on the patio and waited for 15 minutes without a single employee approaching our table. Not one server, host, or staff member stopped by to acknowledge us, offer water, or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. We actually timed it from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were seated in the middle of the patio in plain sight. We watched multiple servers and staff members standing around the service station, chatting, sipping drinks, and looking around. Meanwhile, guests who were seated after us had their orders taken, received water, and were even served appetizers before anyone acknowledged our existence. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. On Father's Day of all days, when families are trying to enjoy a special meal together, the lack of attention and basic hospitality was astonishing. After 15 minutes, with my husband and son both hungry and frustrated, I walked up to what appeared to be the manager or owner and informed her that we were leaving because no one had come to our table. Her response was that she "wasn't aware." Frankly, that's not an acceptable answer. If you're managing or owning a restaurant, knowing whether your guests are being taken care of is part of the job. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, dining at everything from small local establishments to high-end restaurants around the world. Out of the countless places I have visited, this experience easily ranks among my top 20 worst restaurant experiences. Not because the food was bad--we never even had the opportunity to order--but because the complete lack of service and awareness was that shocking. To make matters worse, after leaving, we went to North Italia. Within a few minutes of being seated, a server greeted us, acknowledged the Father's Day rush, offered us bread, and genuinely seemed concerned when we explained what had just happened. That simple act of hospitality immediately changed the tone of our afternoon. That is how a restaurant should be operated. That is what good management, training, and customer service look like. You make guests feel welcome, valued, and taken care of--even on one of the busiest dining days of the year. This restaurant, unfortunately, did the exact opposite. We left disappointed, hungry, and genuinely stunned by how poorly the situation was handled. Will we return? Absolutely not. There are far too many restaurants that appreciate their customers and understand the basics of hospitality for us to ever give this place another chance.
