We brought a large group of students here after a performance because of the great reviews on Yelp. Overall impressions: Dirty!..floor was dirty, chairs and tables were sticky. No air conditioning. Incredibly HOT inside! Just ceiling fans, which some were broken. It was cooler outside! We ordered pitchers of soda. They didn't give us cups...I had to go ask for cups twice. They charged us the same price for each pitcher but some of the pitchers were smaller that the others. We got no ice for our drinks. They ran out of cups for our drinks. How can a restaurant that has so many tables, not have at least 20 cups? Pizza was meh. Really no flavor. Main things...dirty, stifling hot and tasteless pizza! read more

Maybe we came by on an off day, but, meh, not the best experience. Hubby called in an order. Someone picked up, got the toppings, and then just hung up. Didn't ask for hubby's name, didn't ask for a phone number, nothing. Hubby thought that perhaps they had gotten disconnected, so he called back, tried to verify the order, the guy quickly rattled off what was ordered, and then quickly hung up again: didn't ask for name/phone number. Hubby was a little concerned if the pizza would be right, so he went to the shop to try and pay for his pizza, and they gave him the wrong pizza and had him pay for the wrong pizza. Wrong toppings, wrong size, and, consequently, wrong price. They did refund the money, but we're thinking that perhaps they had accidentally combined two separate orders. But it meant that hubby had to wait another 20 minutes or so, while I was home getting pretty hangry. Once hubby was home, we dug in. It was...okay. For the price and the size, it had an okay flavor, and crust was okay. I don't know if bland is the right word for this, but it was just an okay pizza. Nothing crazy to rave about, though it had some fresh toppings. Overall, I think the experience kind of turned us away. Probably would just stick with Pizza Express a few blocks away... read more

Highly recommended for pizza for large groups. We got 6 big mama pizzas for our wedding as late night food. Everyone loved it! The only thing is they don't deliver, so we designated someone at the wedding to go pick it up. Pizza is reasonably priced. Dough is good, pizza is not too oily either. read more

I was very skeptical when I first came to this pizza joint. The area was sketchy, and it didn't look like anyone was ever eating there. In the end I decided to give the little guys a chance and ordered a three topping medium pizza for my boyfriend and I. Our dinner was way better than if we had gotten it from some chain pizza joint. The pizza is like any other small pizza joint, but it's a refreshing difference from the big guys with the taste and quality. The pizza is not he only thing that I like about his place either, the service is very nice. Everytime they see me now, they all have a huge smile and greet me warmly. The location and interior isn't the best, but I'd definately be down to get some friends together and be some pizzas and beers anytime here! read more

Very rude management. Brought family in to eat pizza and management showed attitude and got upset every time I asked for something like ice or a box. Felt like I was bothering him. Dirty dingy place. Large bug running across floor- see photo. Website untrue to what it really was. Not a mom and pop place run by family for 35 years. Not good for kids or birthday parties at all. Highly disappointed. Oh, the memories. For a VHS (non-senior) student sneaking off campus during lunch to grab some food, this place deserves five stars. For a VHS senior grabbing some Rosa's, it's about three stars. For anyone else in the community, it stands at around two stars. I know the guys that run the place try hard, but it's always been just a little bit dirty and a little more sketch. The pizza is "okay" but is covered in about two gallons of grease per slice. I feel like I'm using up a whole tree to soak it up before I eat the pizza. I'm all for supporting local businesses over international chains, but Rosa's might not be that place. I suppose you can decide for yourself. read more

Ordered a meatball sub with extra cheese, and boy did they hook me up. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside, but just chewy enough to give it some heft. Meatballs are good sized, seasoned nicely and freshly made. Sauce was thick, but with just enough moisture to soak into the bread, and when I asked for extra cheese, they delivered. All around, great sandwich. One star taken for the dining room, looks like they're renovating, so it's not much to look at right now, but the food was great. read more
