This place was pretty hip inside. I really liked the decor. The service was alright, definitely not bad. I just can't help comparing it to Volcano in Niskayuna. That server went out of her way to make the experience meaningful. The food is also alright. I liked everything I ordered as far as taste, no real complaints there. I just wish that the food that was supposed to be hot was served hot and some of the meat was really fatty and sinewy. I loved that I got to order endless green tea and they had mini crème brûlée for dessert which I thought was a total win! They are super tiny so if you order the maximum of two that you are allowed then it is almost the size of one anywhere else. If you are a big eater then I think this is a really good deal for the price. If you're not then you could feel it's a bit pricey. Overall I would recommend trying it!

Usually an Asian Fusion restaurant can replace decent Asian dishes that attract regular patrons. This place could not make a Seafood Pajeon (pancake) with decent amount of seafood ingredients and they charge you $17 for that terrible dough. Most patrons inside choose Korean BBQ or hot pot options. So, maybe it is not so bad.

I really appreciate Mosu for never hassling me about dining alone. Yes, it's a little silly to go to Asian barbecue alone, but I do regularly! Other places sometimes give you a hard time about taking up a whole grill, but at Mosu, I've always felt welcome. On to the food: I am trying to figure out the smashed cucumber salad marinade, because I love it. The meats are usually well marinated and well cut. There are not as many choices as some other places, but I don't need too many! I like the modern decor, and the tables are spaced so you don't feel on top of the table next to you. Better than other Asian BBQ places I've been, they're quick to replace the grill when needed and clear the empty plates. This is one of my go-to locations when I'm in Albany--someday, I should dine with someone else!

For many years we occasionally visited many times, noticeably getting worse. They took down many nice ingredients, left bunch mid or cheap ones. For now I can definitely say not worth going.

We were a group of 7, including 2 children. We made reservations as suggested and were seated promptly. You have to decide if you want hotpot or Asian BBQ as the tables are different, with different types of cookers at the tables. We decided to get the BBQ and shown how to use the iPads for ordering food, depending on whether you wanted lunch, dinner or all you can eat. We ordered various items and cooked them using metal tongs on each end of the table. Veggies, including mushrooms, all sorts of meats and seafood are brought uncooked to the table in small dishes and you grill them until they're done. You can also get items such as kimchi that are already prepared. The dining area is very modern yet cozy, with comfortable chairs. Definitely worth returning for more great dining!

Solid Kbbq AYCE option in the area. 55 is a bit steep but it's one of the only places in the area with kbbq. There's a good spread of meat cuts available and premade appetizers. Soft drinks and dessert (a variety of ice cream, smores, and creme brulee) are also included. There's a 2hr maximum per table which is more than enough time. They also offer an a la carte menu and a hotpot option as well. Been to Mosu often and the service is always great, servers are attentative and kind. The restaurant is a bit more sophisticated ambiance wise. It's dim light so it could be used for a special occassion but plenty of people use it as a casual joint as well.

So fun! You order your food, you cook your food. So many delicious choices! This was my first time here and what a great experience. We did make reservations. We ordered appetizers that come already cooked and then our menu choices of steak and salmon and vegetables. Delicious and you cook it the way you like it!

Second time here... and WOW it was better than the first time which we can't believe because the first visit was AMAZING! So you can count on consistency at those restaurant for quality, service and delicious food and drinks! We live a couple hours away and made it so our relaxing getaway included an early dinner at MOSU! Made reservations for 1:30pm and were a little early they could seat us and our hostess and server were top notch! Fast amazing service and again our server was so friendly funny and awesome! Drinks from the bar delicious!! I don't understand why anyone would go elsewhere! Clean fun restaurant and how other restaurants should be run!

4.5 stars. Found a nice Korean AYCE In Albany. Open fire so no smoke from the grill and they change it regularly. The exhaust goes through the side of the fire so nothing hanging over head and you won't be smoked out. Portions are small so if you order from the tablet, make note it's a serving for 1 person. Some meats were seasoned well and we loved the lamb chops. Now that's a big plus, never had that in a Korean BBQ. I took off half a point coz the banchans were not that great, it could be better. Their dipping sauces are different so I had to ask for sesame oil and salt. Unfortunately they don't have crystal salts so I had to mix the oil with table salt. You can also do soup at this place along with the BBQ, aka K-pot. As you can see the place is clean and beautiful. Would definitely go back here again with my coarse salt

I was at Mosu for a birthday dinner hot pot celebration and reservations were easily made online on their website. If you are anything like me, you will appreciate how user friendly their website is and it will give you a glimpse of what is on their menu. Options are endless as they also have Asian barbecue as well which I equate to a do it yourself hibachi. An important thing to note is that if you are there for lunch you have the option to order from either their all you can eat lunch menu, their more expansive dinner menu (also all you can eat) or from their a la carte menu. I think this is really great, especially for those who are looking to try something new but are not big eaters and want to keep within their budget. The ambiance is modern and clean with a really fun vibe. You can tell that the place is kept immaculate and everything served is brought to you fresh and with attention to detail. There's an iPad at the table where you simply select your drinks, and appetizers as well as your entree choices. The staff is friendly and very attentive and will patiently explain everything to you. I really enjoyed all the options available and included in the per person cost. You also have choices to add on many many more extras and skies the limit! During this visit we chose two hot pot soup options, bone broth as well as miso soup. It most certainly did not disappoint and the broths were delicious! We had a good amount of proteins and seafood along with lots of different vegetables as well as noodles. I assure you that there is most definitely something for everyone no matter the craving. I highly recommend Mosu as a must try!

Boneless marinated lamb. If you can even call it that.

Just okay, not bad. Offers a lot for a buffet & the hot pot is included (unlimited ingredients &…read morevegetables too)! Wouldn't have thought I would have tried (eaten years ago traveling in Asia): razor clams, snail, frog leg, crawfish, abalone cooked in different ways (a very pricey seafood- in garlic sauce with vermicelli noodles & in Buddha Jumps Over the Wall herbal soup). Other seafood items included: ONE whole lobster per person (not sure if this was specifically for the holiday), blue stone crab, crab legs, shrimp many different ways (cocktail, boiled in shell & dusted with seasoning, battered & fried for "Coconut Shrimp" kind of like sweet walnut shrimp), a raw bar area, grilled oysters, oysters & XO sauce... The sauteed string beans were good, pineapple sticky rice. The rice in the large rice cooker was large short-grain with varying types of doness (some crispy, some wet...). The short ribs, pepper beef, & pork belly cubes were lukewarm, not very flavorful & a bit tough. The dim sum options in the steamers were probably great when they first came out, but my shrimp crystal dumpling wrapper was tough and crispy on the edges & mushy shrimp & black sesame seeds inside & the lava custard bun was congealed & lukewarm. There's a few soups like hot & sour, broth for wonton, an herbal chicken & goji berry (good for eyesight). There was a dessert area with a lot of fresh fruit, cake & pudding cups (catering-like quality though), almond cookies & herbal jelly, an ice cream bar case, a few canned K-pop sodas, refrigerator of milk tea, passionfruit juice, mango sago, etc. & 3 cases of hot pot ingredients including various fish meatballs, tofu puffs, udon & potato noodles, watercress, chrysanthemum leaves, napa cabbage, mixed mushrooms, frozen thinly sliced pork belly, beef, and lamb. I didn't get to try the mad-to-order ramen & noodle soup. There's a huge sushi bar with lots of pretty bites, but items looked a bit crispy around the edges. The eel on the sushi was paper thin. The spicy tuna sushi was not. good. Have never heard of or seen the herbal soup Buddha Jumps Over the Wall. Supposedly it takes a long time to simmer & the ingredients are immune boosting & collagen rich. Broth from pork shank, chicken feet, abalone, dried scallops, mushrooms, a quail egg was also in there. It's kind of like a rich hearty dark broth with "healthy root beer" undertones. This soup only appears at the best wedding & other banquets. Try it! Final thoughts: eat anything with abalone ($$) buffet is worth it for that. Get a hot pot & warm up any seafood in the water before eating it. Lots of interesting items to try. Overall it FEELS like a buffet - big on quantity, little on quality, kind of empty. Maybe during seafood season, items would be juicy & tasty, but even the meat items felt like empty St*rbucks food. It's not a bad experience, good bang for the buck. The frog legs were literally like a chicken wing & well seasoned & spicy. The lunch pricing seems good also.

Holy moly! This place is fantastic! It was about $40 a person and it was totally worth it. We added…read morea hot pot which I believe is extra. They have a fridge with all of this food you can throw in it. I mean they have everything. I tried their sushi, fried shrimp, chicken wings, lo mein, bubble tea, hot pot with fresh veggies and beef and pork. There was so much I did not try because I was so full but they have fruit and desserts and carved turkey and lots of seafood choices! The place is super clean. The people are very very friendly. Will definitely be back soon!
