I have missed this place so much. It just reopened after a devastating fire completely destroyed the building into rubble a little over a year ago. They rebuilt and the restaurant is so much bigger than it once was. Instead of take out or delivery, we went for dinner to check out the new digs. It's so bright and new. I was so happy to order my favorite apps and dishes. I even tried one of their specialty teas, Tea Lover. It was amazing! Oh how I've missed the spring rolls and chicken satay. Absolutely delicious. I order medium spice, which is pretty spicy! So good. I also ordered my favorite dish, shrimp pad Thai. I tried it with crispy shrimp this time. Very good but I prefer regular shrimp. Plenty for lunch tomorrow too! My dinner mate got the Tom Kha soup and a summer roll and she also got a specialty tea, Taro Thai Tea. I had a little taste of the tea and it was also amazing. This is a family run business and they are the nicest people. Super friendly and they love what they do. They are masters of their craft. Congrats for coming back stronger than ever!

Extremely friendly service, very clean. I'm super happy this place is finally open again! Great food if a little pricey for takeout. Worth every penny though! Support local businesses like this!

Delicious authentic Thai restaurant. Many choices to choose from. The service is great and the food comes out quickly and hot! I ordered the medium heat and it's spicy but not too spicy. My nose ran a little, lol Small indoor seating. I highly recommend!

Authentic Thai with fast service. The Som Tom or Papaya Salad was over the top good. Nested in a real Thai feeling setting.

Yumminess! I was craving for Thai food. Me and my friend went here for my birthday. I ordered the Pad See Ewe. It is soo good! I cant stop eating It looks pale and the noodles are thin (im used to seeing the thick noodles) but it has the right flavor and sweetness. Also they can adjust the spiciness. Tom Yum is the best! I could eat it everyday. Love the spiciness and the sourness which are not too overpowering! It's a small place but clean. And they have very good service. Parking is small it can accommodate only abt 4 cars.

Parang curry.lunch special, a bit skimpy on the protein.

Hadn't been here in 3 years and things have changed. What I remember as a simple but pleasant dining room is now 1/3 filled with crates of coconut milk and I was the only dine-in though there was a lot of takeout business. I ordered the now-$11 lunch special panang curry, and asked for it extra spicy with chicken and a spring roll vs dumplings. It was delivered with dumplings, not spring roll, no fork and no napkin. Also no inquiry as to whether I would like a beverage other than water. The server was pleasant but not into seeing if my meal was ok. I think they have changed to a takeout model and are not really promoting dine in any more. The curry was ok (and definitely spicy) but skimpy on the protein. See my photo.

One of the best Pad Thai noodles in the area! Lunch specials come with salad and either dumplings or a spring roll and are decent portions. The wings have the perfect crisp to them. Service is quick if dining in, there are only a few tables though. There is additional parking in the back if the front lot is full. Inside, there are some wall decor of Thailand and a Thai snack station by the register. We love going here!

The. Best. Thai food. Seriously the best we've found on the east coast between New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont! So far, we've tried and loved the masuman curry with tofu, chicken pad Thai, pad se ew with chicken, chicken satay, and spring rolls.

At first we did not like this spot but we ordered wrong! The Tom Yum spices soup has a nice sour spice authentic flavours. The Larb Gai is drenched with lime, basil, kafir strips and lots of spice. I see why This is Daniel B.'s fave spot =P. As far as fried calamari and drunken noodle is not good-grease under flavoured (my other Thai spot where I'm a duchess is top around here). Anyways, we go here when we need specific dishes so give it a try!

In the background on the TV was the Food Network. Our waitress was very polite and gave us time to order. I started with the Szechuan dumplings which turned out to be steamed dumplings in a spicy peanut saucy. They were very soft, almost to the point of mushy, and the meatball inside was chewy. I had never heard of them before and really enjoyed them, though I didn't find them spicy. My wife disagreed on that point, and didn't care for them. For my son, we ordered "chicken fingers". They were larger pieces of battered deep fried chicken (think sweet and sour chicken) and cooked so long as to be hard and greasy. He didn't want to eat them, and after one bit I completely agreed. They were terrible. Very little meat, very hard coating, very oily. Yuck. We threw nearly all of it away. My wife ordered sushi, and during the ordering process there was some confusion as to what fish came with it and whether there was an upcharge or not. She ended up with a standard sushi order and didn't enjoy it all that much. It might have been sitting around a bit too long. I ordered the General Tso chicken and was very disappointed. There was lots of chicken and it wasn't fried as hard as the chicken fingers, but I didn't like the sauce. It was loaded with minced ginger, shallots, and garlic which gave it a much different taste than anywhere else I have had this dish. As I looked at it more, it hit me... I have bought this bottled sauce before from the supermarket. I think it is "Iron Kitchen" brand, and I used to have some in my fridge (when I bought it, I discovered it didn't taste good either so it sat in my fridge for ages). Yangs didn't make their sauce from scratch, and it was gloopy and thick. he picture of this dish on the online menu doesn't match what you get. Do they always use this sauce? I dunno, but it was one of the worst versions I have ever eaten. After dropping off our food, the waitress disappeared and was clearly busy with other tables. She never checked on us to see how we were doing, and it took a while for someone else to refill our drinks. They did a tremendous amount of takeout while we were there. All in all, it was a very disappointing meal. We won't be back.

The dine-in area was empty during my visit, but the restaurant was clearly busy with takeout orders--people were regularly coming in to place or pick up food. Having the dining room to myself, I found the staff to be very attentive and quick to take my order. I chose the sashimi lunch special, which came with miso soup, a house salad, and hot tea. I also added an order of edamame. The edamame was freshly steamed and served in the bamboo basket it was cooked in. It was hot, lightly salted, and a perfect way to start the meal. The salad was a simple iceberg mix with dressing. Unfortunately, the dressing didn't have much flavor, so it felt a bit underwhelming. The miso soup was standard--hot, with small pieces of tofu, and just what I expected. The sashimi was nicely sliced, though I found it a bit lacking in flavor on its own. I added soy sauce and wasabi, which helped enhance the experience. I did appreciate the attention to detail with the octopus sashimi--each slice was separated by a thin piece of lemon, which added a subtle citrus note that worked well.

Upon entering, the girl behind the counter just stared at us. No greeting. No direction on where to sit. No smile. We assumed it was self seating so we found a booth. She came over, poured our waters, still said nothing. We had about 45 mins until the restaurant closed so I'm unsure of what the cold attitude was for, as there were still 4-5 other patrons there eating as well. My friend is a vegetarian and ordered the veggie dumplings, and I had the same but with meat. Once the plates arrived, the one set in front of me was green, and his not. I figured I would double check to make sure we had the correct ones - I didn't want him to end up eating the meat ones if it could be avoided. Sure enough, the plates were mixed up. Honestly seemed to be done purposefully because it's very clear they are 2 different orders. The texture was chewy/foamy and they also tasted like old grease. Disappointing but we still had soups to look forward to. Our ramen finally arrived and I was hoping it would be the redemption moment of the evening but it wasn't. It really lacked any depth of flavor. Again the meat was chewy instead of tender. More distracting was how we awkwardly felt rushed as the server was shutting off lights and music...again...with at least 15 mins until the kitchen closing time. She seemed annoyed we asked for to go containers. At no point did she check in with us, refill waters, or even crack any resemblance of a smile. I used to love this little spot when I was in college. It was cozy, delicious, inviting. Couldn't have had more of the opposite experience this time around! And for this reason I would not return. I will travel to Colonie for Kuma Ani for better food and MUCH better service. TLDR; this place is extremely overrated
