One of my favorite Thai places! The food is always delicious, the staff is super friendly and genuine. You get a lot of food in their noodle dishes, so prepare to have leftovers! I've never dined inside but it has both booths and tables to choose from and lots of colorful decor. Very cozy!

Fantastic! Food/Drink: Entrees were amazing, everything tasted fantastic. The flavors and the smells were intoxicating! Super spicy but not that bad. Bread and Apps: pan seared wontons. Mmmmm Dinning Area: Pretty large, and A little drafty. Prices: Relatively cheap. Small appetizer, 2 entree, and 2 drink I got away for $70. Parking: small space, private lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and smaller in size. Atmosphere: During the weekday Dinner rush, pretty busy, but not unmanageable. We did not wait long. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was Great, family owned and operated I presume. Extremely authentic, deep accent. Awesome experience I will be back! 8/10

What a wonderful place. Jasmine Thai crafts a warm and thoughtful experience with delicious food. The staff is friendly and very polite. The atmosphere is warm, although the restaurant is a bit old. It's very clean and decorated with Thai images and other family memorabilia. If there's one thing that stands out besides the delicious food, it's how calm, cool, and collected the staff always is. They make great recommendations on dishes, spice level, and one waitress will even remember what I ordered two visits before. I've been there when it was insanely busy and the staff never feels stressed. The food always comes out at a reasonable pace, and always with a friendly smile. The mark of a well-oiled machine! Now let's talk food... Everyone I've taken here either loves everything, or at least has a couple favorite dishes. And if you have a vegan in your life, Jasmine  Thai is the perfect place for a date night (especially if they're also gluten free). You no longer have to sweat or secretly roll your eyes whenever they want to go out. Plus, the staff is well-versed in vegan and gluten-free choices, and will happily make alterations for them. That said, for MY appetizers I always go with the Crab Rangoons, Tom Kha Soup, and the Thai Fresh Rolls. The Crab Rangoons sit in a bed of tangy dipping sauce. Perfectly fried, not too-crabby, with the perfect amount of cream cheese flavor. The Tom Kha has that Thai sweet and sour vibe, with a perfect balance of lime, lemongrass, and coconut milk (also available in a noodle soup entree if you ask). Finally are the Thai Fresh Rolls. Often miss-named as the deep fried Thai Spring Rolls (also amazing), the Fresh Roll is a gluten-free vegan wrap, that combines rice noodles, carrots, cucumber, and basil. It sits atop a tangy-sweet dressing that makes my taste buds sing! Plus it's very filling, so you're welcome to share.  As for entrees, I have a few favorites. First is the Tom Kha Noodle Soup. The menu lists the spicier Tom Yum variant, so I asked and they made Kha version that I love so dearly. Next is the Jasmine Pineapple Fried Rice, which I almost always order. It comes with a light yellow curry flavor, with big chunks of pineapple that I like to chop up, egg, veggies, and roasted cashews. Every bite of the yellow curry rice, the juicy pineapple, and the cashew crunch create a symphony of flavor that keeps me coming back for more.  I could comment on other dishes that I enjoy, but I find myself being a creator of habit, usually ordering one of the two entrees I listed above. Don't get me wrong, I'll still eye everyone else's dish, and will try to sneak a taste when they're not looking, but my favorites are those listed in this review. I assume there might be some people who've had a mediocre experience, but I can honestly say its always been fantastic for me. If nothing else, Jasmine Thai is worth checking out to see why the locals all rave about it.

I had the please of having dinner at Jasmine Thai recently after a long time away from the area. My experience made me reconsider what I thou was a long drive to a great restaurant! The service couldn't have been more kind and personal! A big shout out to Jum, my lovely server! The food was wonderful. It was hot when served, super fresh ingredients and very tasty indeed. The toasted garlic on the steamed dumplings was an extra treat, making that appetizer super yummy! The curry puffs were soft and flaky with a mild curried filling. The shrimp satay were perfectly cooked. The duck salad was outstanding, super flavorful! Both the chicken Pad Thai and the Chicken Pad Poy-Sian were delicious. I will be taking the long drive there again soon! Please consider doing so as well if you live a bit further out. You won't be disappointed!

Honestly, probably one of my favorite places I've ever been. This place is a hidden gem! The food is sooooo good and incredibly affordable. The portion sizes are huge, especially loved the ridiculously ripe mango - a delightful touch! The noodles were perfectly warm, and the serving size was generous enough for a few meals. The staff here are incredibly sweet and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The cozy ambiance added a warm touch to the meal. Honestly, I would make the drive all the way up from the city just to eat here again.

If your in a rush, this may not be the best option for a meal. The food was delicious, be sure to ask your server if the dish is spicy or not before changing the spice level. For an appetizer we tried the crab Rangoon, dumplings and the fried chicken meatballs. We enjoyed them all, the Rangoon was my favorite, the rest of our party thought the meatball were the best. The rest of our meals were very flavorful. We accidentally asked for spice level 2 for the Drunken noodles and that was too much. Also when I saw that my meal had cilantro I was excited but there were only 2 sprigs of cilantro. The Andaman Steamy was packed with flavor but my favorite part was the shaved ginger. We had the fried bananas and ice cream for dessert, the bananas were kind of like fried dough with bananas instead and it was delicious. The restaurant offers wine, beer and sake.

My friends and I were craving Thai food while driving through upstate New York and decided to give this place a try even though Asian food isn't necessarily at its best in upstate NY. We were so pleasantly surprised! We got the eggplant with pork, pad Thai with chicken, and spicy basil fried rice with beef. All three were great and large portions too. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. The staff was really nice and accommodating.

There is a parking lot behind the restaurant with free parking after 5. The menu reads exciting and includes a lot of fun and modern ingredients, the space is bright and inviting and we had great service. The cocktail menu was small and uninspired, but we enjoyed a few cocktails. My favorite of the night was a dirty martini with house stuffed blue cheese olives. Their aviation inspired cocktail called Flight 99 was okay, but left me wanting an aviation. We decided to get a few appetizers the share over some cocktails and didn't order any entrees. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche and the Foie Gras Torchon. Both plates arrived and the presentation left a lot to be desired. The shrimp ceviche was good but the baby corn and sweet potato were weird. It didn't belong at all. I don't know if it is traditional or what but it just took up space, made the presentation uninviting and added nothing to the dish. The chips were great though and the shrimp were large and of great quality. The Foie gras torchon was like a chilled pate, it was alright. 4 tiny slices of toast was not enough for the plate, the green strawberry compote was a good pairing, the dressed greens were fine but again, didn't add much to the dish. We heard the special of soft shell crab and wanted to order it. For the second round, we ordered the bone marrow and soft shell crab. The bone marrow was maybe 3 bites, the bones were very dry and didn't have much marrow to scrape so that was disappointing. The soft shell crab was a large portion and was very good and treat to have during the season. However, it was $65. Maybe our fault for not asking but that price is obscene for that dish. It was soft shell crab over spinach. We were pretty full and ended the meal with bread pudding which was fine. Our bill before tip was $280 for 4 appetizers, 6 cocktails and a dessert. I was sticker shocked. I really regret not asking the price on the soft shell crab. The food did not live up to the hype at all and I don't think I would return based on the quality and prices.

Our entrees were fairly simple, a beef stir-fry with fried rice, and grilled chicken on french fries with rice and salad. These came out quickly. The portions were more than adequate, and my simple side salad was better than similar side salads I've gotten at fancier restaurants. Small bottles of yellow and red sauces are provided to spice up your meal: yellow for fairly spicy, and red for REALLY spicy. For me, the yellow sauce was perfect for my chicken and my rice. The duck wrapped in scallion pancakes was the best thing we ordered! Delicious! The second best thing was the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, also very tasty. The edamame were edamame. The spicy dumplings were alright, the filling didn't really have enough flavor to be discernible above the chili oil coating the outside. They were tossed with fresh cucumber which was really nice. Okay, here's the tea on the bad stuff. It was really slow for a weekend night. The service was all over the place. They seem to just all work the room but there is no assigned server to your table so they have no idea what is going on. We were all served waters with our other drinks, but unfortunately one of the water glasses was broken. We gave it back to one of the servers who apologized but never came back with a new glass of water, or the additional drink someone else from our party asked for. Another server couldn't speak English which caused many other issues. We were approached several times to order food from different servers. They tried to take our menus away after ordering appetizers. Many more shenanigans ensued, it was honestly a mess. I ordered the biang biang noodles. I had to ask both servers the same questions about my meal because nobody was talking to each other and I got two completely different answers. I decided to accept the risk and order this dish anyway. I wish I hadn't, it was legitimately awful. The small slices of beef were stone cold and were inedible. There was no meat at all, it was just grizzle. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It was like trying to chew on rubber. Awful! I pushed all the meat to the side of my dish and tried to eat around it. One of the servers asked me if I wanted a box. I told her that the meat was disgusting and just to pack the few noodles I had left on the plate. She just said "oh sorry." The ramen dish had 2 of the thinest slices of pork loin that I have ever seen! They might as well have been cold cuts. And both of those were mostly fat. They were roasted and served untrimmed. And thats all the meat that came in the Tonkotsu ramen dish, besides the 2 slices of fish cakes. What are we on rations guys?? They are very stingy with the protein here. When a place starts cutting food quality and has no self awareness of service quality you know a restaurant is struggling financially or you have an absentee owner situation. I tried to pay a portion of our meal with a gift card and the server couldn't figure out how to do that so she said that they do not accept gift cards. I paid the bill with my credit card and headed for the door. As we were walking out the door, she ran up to me and said "oh we accept gift card, my manager show me how. You can pay gift card when you come again!" I said okay and walked out the door laughing. Don't worry! We will never be back again!
