The inside is very nice,they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was very crowded and loud when we went. I can't remember the name of our server but he was very sweet and so so helpful. This is an absolute must when you're anywhere on the northern Oregon coast. They are legendary for their claim chowder but they do everything really well. Fish and chips are nicely done without too much breading leaving a nice ratio of fish to breading. Even though. We were in just half an hour after opening and they got busy very quickly but it didn't seem to affect the service. Very nice place and we'll return over and over. read more

You won't find a better location in Seaside- hands down the best view. Staff was pleasant and accommodating since we had a doggo, and my mobility-challenged mom with us. Out food was good. Really good. I had the halibut and fries. The halibut was perfectly cooked.The chowder eaters were pleased and the chili eater gave us a solid thumbs up. So yeah! Skip it. I know it's the only waterfront dining in seaside, so, "location, location, location." There are several "Mo's" in the area: Astoria, Cannon Beach, etc. This is specifically the one at Seaside. We were here early in the season, so it wasn't crowded. We got a patio table. Tried to order a drink, but was told the only drinks are the ones on the menu-- premixed, juice blends?-- the waitress asked immediately if I wanted to make it a double (I declined), but I drank FOUR of them and felt nothing. Had a bucket of steamers (couple of gritty ones) and ordered the chowder bread bowl, which was just ok. The worst part was the waitress. She was in the biggest hurry to get us out of there. We were in the middle of eating and she brought our check. We wanted to order more drinks, or some fries. She wasn't UNfriendly, but she was not friendly either. Service wasn't terrible, just very rushed. They don't have to be nice, it's a money machine. Do yourself a favor and head over to Dooger's or Nonnis for better service and amazing food! read more

Not our favorite place to eat in Seaside. The clam chowder was bland, and everything deep fried seemed to be all batter. Our server brought our food and never came back. Good menu. The prices have gone up a bit over the years I've been visiting Mo's in Seaside. Lots of friendly staff to keep orders coming in quickly. My last visit was May 30th through June 2nd 2025 for "THE" Sea-Pac ham radio convention. I like the chowder (of course), and the fish and chips. For a non busy time of year - staff lacked in service. Greeted us and said they would be right with us - finished ringing up a customer and then disappeared. We had to wait quite a while. I do love that this has outdoor seating with heat. I will say that the service this time was better than last. The table was sticky and not wiped down. That makes me wonder, do they only wipe down tables if they "look" dirty or do they do this automatically? The clam chowder in a bowl was delicious! I will say that it is yet to disappoint. I only had a soda so cannot review the drinks. At least I can say the soda was good! The 3 stars are just for the good service and great location with stunning views of the promenade, beach and sea. The food was mediocre at best. My wife's shrimp sandwich was just okay. Our family was visiting and walking around the area when everyone decided they were hungry.. so we needed a quick place to go into and dine. This location is great. Right by the water and in the heart of the tourist area. So we went in... The seating outside is great. You can people watch and see the water. The food, however, was a disappointment. Wait... actually, the clam chowder was pretty decent minus the grease piling up on the side of the bowl. The other food took forever to come... about 40 minutes. We had fish tacos, fish sandwich, some kids meals... all of which was super underwhelming. The fish sandwich was all (stale) bun and hardly any fish. We stopped here because we were hungry and my friend had her dog with her. This place was pet friendly on the patio. The food was not good. We got the clam chowder which is supposed to be a fan favorite but it wasn't very great, I've definitely had better. The salad was basic and the fish tacos were very basic too. For the fish tacos they could Atleast add some kind of sauce to make them better. The salsa served with them tastes like a jar from the grocery store that goes with chips not these fish tacos. We lucked out and got to enjoy the patio. Beautiful scenery of the beach and ocean. We had good service and our food was delivered quickly. We ordered the fish n chips and shrimp fettuccine. This location is located in the perfect spot for beach going tourists on the first floor of the Shilo. On any nice day there will be a wait and its nice that you can put your name in and they will text you when table is ready freeing you up to walk around town in the meantime. Service is good and food is ok but really not much variety on menu if you are looking for local seafood or something like local clams or crab you will not find it here. Instead they have a couple types of fish, clams and shrimp and that is served in various ways all over the menu. Mo's is a beloved chain restaurant on the coast that families and groups of friends have been visiting after a day at the beach. It's reasonably priced and has lots of seating - it's also been newly renovated to open up to ocean views. It's one of those obligatory places to grab a bowl of chowder or some fried seafood. First time ordering the chowder in a family-size tureen, and it's massive. You can get 6+ full bowls or up to 10 not quite full bowls for a large group. I remember Mo's chowder being more creamy but it may just have been the day, it was 3 stars. The bay shrimp cabbage salad was very good, and a larger portion than expected (an option if you order an entree, or $3.99 ordered a la carte). Get it! Crunchy and sweet cabbage, a creamy dressing, and succulent little shrimp atop. Alfredo pasta + bay shrimp - skip it. Large portions, pasta was cooked fine, but there's no flavor. We added our own salt and pepper but it was just too bland and disappointing for me. The crisp buttery toast and side bay shrimp cabbage salad were the best part of the pasta. read more

The shrimp salad was yummy with really fresh shrimp, the fish and chips, excellent. Our server was terrific, she was swamped but made time to check on us. Next time will eat there again! My wife and I we pulled into Seaside last Wednesday. I wanted to take her out to dinner and we went to Moe's in Seaside. We have been to Moe's up and down the coast in Oregon and enjoy dinner there each and every time this time however we went in the restaurant was not overly busy we were seated and we waited and we waited and we waited and we waited for a server to come to us. There were people that were seated behind us after we came in and sat down. They ordered their food came and we still haven't even seen a server. I asked for the manager and it took over five minutes for the manager to even show up. We ordered our food. Finally, the food was good as usual but the service at this location was very poor. I've been to Mose and Lincoln city and Newport many times down in Florence. They get busy, but I have always had great service with them. This is a Mo's I will not be going back to. read more

Once this business started to expand with new locations along the Coast, the food quality and value went downhill steep and fast. Mo's is no longer a family restaurant, but instead just another fast-casual diner for unadventurous tourists. Mo's poorly chose to go all-in on profit over quality and value. If you think places like Chili's and Applebee's are tasty, then hey: this is probably your kind of spot. Because like them, Mo's is boring, uninspired filler, so you and your blue-jeans will feel right at home. I advise everyone else to stay away from this "seafood" abomination. What was once a titan on the Oregon Coast is now just a sad, greasy, forgettable experience. Yuck. The taste and quality of the original classic clam chowder has apparently been lost to the sands of time, the clam strips were overcooked and chewy, and the fish prices were absolutely ludicrous for the portions/quality. Yuck. No coastal resident would be caught dead eating here. It's like eating Morton's fish sticks and gas station clam chowder. Two stars for service only. read more
