Chowder

This place was quite busy as it was the weekend but my large party got seated rather soon at two tables next to each other. I liked the beer-battered halibut fish n chips and how the fish inside was moist, not dry. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned. I tried some of the shrimp alfredo which came with a side of bread. The alfredo was creamy and bread was buttery. Both entrees came with a side of chowder which they brought out first. They also will sing a short birthday song if you ask them to for birthdays and bring out a small cup of ice cream.

Highly recommend this location. Friendly. Understanding. Family restaurant. Busy during certain times, depending when you go. Fast. Always good food. Parking is great. Multiple locations to park. Can be loud at times, but sometimes can be quiet. Depends when you go. But highly recommend even if you have a child that has attitude issues and makes a scene. Everyone is understanding no judgement. Great staffing and a great team here. Right on the beach as well.

Mo's has quite a name for itself on the Oregon Coast and their location in Seaside is right on the waterfront. It's all about location, right? Our group of 18 people was easily accommodated by the staff, with all of us filling 4 tables next to each other. We had two servers who took our orders quickly, bringing water and other drinks faster than you could say "water, please." They were great! The servers were attentive and patient with all of us; when someone at my table couldn't remember what she ordered, the server was kind and helped her figure out what it was she wanted. That server deserves a raise! (I think her name was Brittany.) I ordered a cod sandwich and a dinner salad with bay shrimp as my side. The salad was large, considering it was a "side" and the blue cheese dressing was perfect. The cod sandwich was okay, nothing special, but it helped fix my hungry stomach. Others at my table ordered poached fish, clam chowder in a bread bowl, shrimp cabbage salad, and fish & chips; all said their food was good, except the very mushy bread bowl. All in all, it was a good stop for lunch.

The Applebee's of the Sea! You can expect mediocre food suitable for the whole family! This location has an incredible view that makes it worth it. Mo's is budget friendly with a basic enough menu to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. I had a margarita that was okay. Mussels were okay, but nothing to rave about. The bread though was absolutely incredible - soft and fluffy - if you love white bread. Clam chowder is pretty good, as it should be, but not the best in town.

Delicious clam chowder, razor clams and the Bloody Mary was great!!

We had a fantastic lunch at MO's!! We always have come here for chowder and seafood throughout the years! The service was prompt, the seafood was fresh and delicious!! And, the views are stunning!!

This place was pretty awesome, we're not staying too far from Mo's so we went for dinner. The restaurant is nice and lots of space, the staff was super friendly and we knew what we wanted. The Chowder was auger awesome and tasted very good and I'm usually not a fan. The Halibut Fish n Chips were pretty awesome and tasted super fresh, the breading was cooked to perfection as well. Even the tartar sauce tasted pretty awesome and I enjoyed our time at Mo's. If you're going to be in Seaside Oregon and you never tried Mo's all you have to do is come and try it out you won't regret it at all.

Staple for the Oregon coast! Known for their big Bread Bowl of clam chowder. The main entrees you can get chowder as a side, it used to be a perfect ratio of ingredients but now it's 90% potatoes, which some love but it's not my thing. The Tuna Melt is my fav thing in the menu! It's big, cheesy, tunay, and buttery. Very filling and always tastes delicious! We went on a Friday for lunch and it wasn't real busy but it took a long time to get food. They brought a side salad that I asked for no shrimp and it looked like they put it on, then remembered and tried to pick it off, cuz there was random shrimp in the salad which was annoying. Kids menu is pretty much the same price for an adult item for a tiny amount of food

Stopped in to sample their clam chowder. It was good - not the best I've had but I enjoyed it. I got it as takeout and it was ready in just a few minutes. Price was fair and the staff were friendly. I also appreciated the location right along the beach.

Mo's has been a classic place to go for as long as I've been in Oregon (all my life). Came here during Hood to Coast 2024. It was busy, but the server was very friendly and personable. We chatted about surfing. I ordered a beer, a cup of clam chowder, and a plate of fettuccine Alfredo with bay shrimps. Everything came out quickly, like amazingly quick. The clam chowder is decent, but nothing like the quality in the past. The Alfredo came out tasting fine, but the sauce was a bit more watery, and some of the bay shrimps still had parts of the shells still intact. All in all, this restaurant is efficient at quick turnaround, but quality suffers with phenomenal service.

Super friendly staff, fast service and fast ordering. Fish and chips were okay, wouldn't order again. Salmon filet with rice was excellent. Chowder brad bowl was pretty good, slightly bland. Would order from again. Affordable pricing.

Entertainment while dining!

Food is ok, seems overrated. Service was slow and limited. Fries were good, the fish was ok, chowder was bland.

Great food and service, right on the River, we got there just before the big dinner rush and enjoyed our dinner while watching the sunset.

Great food, pretty darn busy for a Monday, but the staff was staying up pretty well. A neat beachy atmosphere, overlooks the beach.

Tonight my server was David and he was so sweet! Obviously it's busy due to it being Memorial Day weekend, but he only charged for me my oysters cause I was sitting along for a little bit! I asked for Togo cup for my drink and he gave me a new one to take no charge. So sweet! Will def be back of course, now a nonnegotiable every time I'm in seaside! TYSM DAVID!!

Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.

We came here for my boyfriend's 50th birthday, on recommendation from a friend whose beach house we…read morewere staying at. She suggested the beef medallions with mushrooms, so we got that, as well as the house lasagna. Both were absolutely delicious! Lasagna is his all time favorite - and what his mother would have made him if we had been able to make it back East for his birthday, (but we got stormed out). I was thrilled that he thought this was just as good. I don't do mushrooms but can maneuver my way around them (which means picking them out at putting them on my boyfriends plate). The restaurant is charming and intimate and decor very much takes you from Seaside, OR to any small town in Italy (or Little Italy in NYC). Maria was our server (according to the receipt) and she was awesome! She was personable, and spent time visiting with us and telling us the history of the restaurant. She also helped me be sneaky and hid the little birthday cake I snuck in my bag and hid it in back, then had brought it out later; adding a bunch of ice cream to it - and got the other restaurant guests to suing Happy Birthday to him. My boyfriend is fairly private so this intimate setting and delicious food, was exactly what he wanted and a wonderful surprise for him.

We were seated and served right away, which is always nice. Our server was very pleasant and took good care of us throughout our visit. The food was good, but didn't impress me as much as it did on our last visit. I had carbonara, which is always my go-to baseline meal, and it wasn't bad, tasted ok, but didn't blow me away at all. My wife did enjoy her dish, however, and our drinks were very tasty too. It might have just been me, so I'm not going to say don't go here, you absolutely should, because this is probably the most authentic Italian you're going to get in this area and it's worth a visit!
