Bangin Breakfast Sammie
Nicole R.

I got breakfast here on a Saturday morning and it was just okay. I ordered the bangin breakfast sammie with the chicken sausage and fruit as my side. The fruit cup was very small but had some berries at least. The bagel sandwich was SO dry - there was no sauce or condiments at all on it. Overall, the food here seems overpriced for the quality. The interior is nice enough and service was decent.

Skirt Steak and Eggs

Food was great... had the Skirt Steak and Eggs Benedict (amazing) Our server Birdi was the best. So nice, honest, accommodating... all the good things. We came back the next day for breakfast and she was our sever again. Very good place for breakfast.

Funny ... lol

This little spot sits on a dead end road with the entrance all the way around the back. They offer plenty of outdoor sitting which we took full advantage of. The server was nice, very knowledgeable of the menu items. We ordered the Strawberry Banana Smoothie, water and a lemonade. Then we ordered the Fruit and Pastry Platter to share and that was enough to fill up the 3 of us. And the presentation was beautiful as well. The muffins and cinnamon roll came out hot. There was a side of butter and a side of lemon sauce. Don't skip that lemon sauce with the fruit. Perfect combination! They also sell shirts that are pretty cool.

I really expected this place to be good and I was disappointed. I got the hangover bowl and it was just okay. There was a lot going on in the bowl and I expected more flavor. The barbacoa was at least good. Now I got a side pancake....and it wasn't even cooked all the way through. I thought Jeremiah from Love Island was in the kitchen. I sent it back and they did remake it. The veggie omelette was good because how do you mess that up? The best part was the mimosa. The service was great but I will not be back.

Breakfast Fruit & Pastry Platter

We absolutely love my brunch at Morning Squeeze in Tempe! The vibe is super chill with a fun, retro feel, and the staff was genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in. I tried the breakfast platter, which was classic, and the fresh-squeezed OJ was a winner. The coffee smoothie was solid too, and my friend's gluten free pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I'd say 4.5/5 -- Only reason it's not a full 5 stars is it took a long while for the food to come out but honestly, that's part of the food being fresh. Highly recommend for a laid-back, tasty breakfast or brunch spot!

Chicken Chilaquiles
Courtney H.

We really liked our meals here, they just weren't out of this world. I got the chicken chilaquiles. I really liked it when I first started eating it, but it got soggy wayyy too fast. It also made it so there was no way I was going to be able to reheat it. The flavor was really good and maybe if you were sharing it with your table it would be good, but I would not get it again. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash. It was pretty good, but not the best ever. He would get it again though. Our waitress was GREAT! I think her name was Red. Super attentive. She refilled my tea constantly! She was the best part of the visit. It is a pretty cute, lively environment which is nice!

Cali Benedict
A V.

Ordered the Cali Benedict and added a side muffin and sauce to go but didn't get it. And there was definitely not enough sauce on the Benedict. The avocado was turning dark. It was good but would have been better with more sauce and fresher avocado. Also got a pancake but it was a little too dry.

Came to Arizona on a work trip and saw this gem while walking to our meeting spot and wow! I ordered the Chilaques. It was so amazing! The portion was pretty big and although I was full I took my time eating because it was so good! The service was quick and our waitress was great at recommendations. The freshly pressed juices were great too. My coworker had the burrito which looked amazing as well. Hoping to try this location again.

Eggs My Way

A lazy morning in Phoenix found me at Morning Squeeze looking for a fill up. First, a damn good cup of Lavazza - hot, smooth, and bitter. Then an order of the Phat Country Boy Benedict: two scratch biscuits with pork sausage, poached eggs and gravy. Flaky, tasty and filling - exactly what I needed to refuel for the day. The side of fruit was also super fresh, sweet and tart. A few more fills of coffee and I was set for the day. Friendly staff and a bright atmosphere, Morning Squeeze is a great way to start the day.

Salmon Benedict & chicken waffles. So delicious!

Beautiful weather, great service, good tunes. Thanks for having a great breakfast place near our hotel.

Overnight Oats
Ellie Z.

This experience was WAY better than our last trip here. The hostess actually acknowledged us this time. In fact, everyone we encountered was pleasant and attentive! We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and chose to sit inside since it was a bit nippy outside. No wait; we love to see it. As we were finishing our meal an hour later, that's when the place started filling up. I ordered the overnight oats again because why is everything so darn expensive? This was the cheapest thing and it was still over $10 for some oats and fruit. My friend got breakfast tacos and they were unlike any breakfast tacos she'd ever gotten. The tortillas came in individually wrapped foil - she basically had to make her own tacos. Now, I can understand how some people would like this, as you get to prepare your food how you like it. But when you're paying close to $20 for some tiny tacos, the kitchen couldn't construct them themselves? My friend thought it was bizarre and didn't enjoy the experience to be honest. At least they gave her a decent amount of each topping though, which was nice. She also ordered a hot chocolate, which she reported was a tasty hot chocolate. My oats were better than last time - and look nicer too. The fruit was ripe, the seeds had flavor, and the oats were creamy. Kept me satiated for a while. Also, the food came out in under 15 minutes.

Hangover Bowl
Nicole B.

A solid choice. We were downtown for a local event on a Saturday around 11am and it was busy but we had to wait only 20 minutes which seemed reasonable. Patio seating allowing dogs which is really nice. Pretty extensive menu. Even the food others had around us looked great. I got the Hangover Bowl and it was tasty. Not amazing, but hit the spot I was looking for. Super cute ambience and friendly staff.

I guess this is biscuits and gravy?

I think I used about 8 credits, which may be more than just buying the coffee directly from Happy Joe, but I needed to use the credits before traveling out of town. Use um or lose um. I got the Milky Way latte and it was better than I was expecting since I didn't make any adjustments to the drink on the CP app. I will definitely go back and try other things. There was a Samoa seasonal coffee drink that I would probably like, and they have food there as well. Staff was super friendly and my coffee was ready, waiting for me to pick up after ordering from CP app.

The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. They are also extremely quick with making drinks, and they give great recommendations. The shop has a bar top seating area and a few tables and chairs inside, it is cozy and comfortable. They have this fun board, where you can buy someone you know a drink. They put up the cost of the drink and a specific drink (if you choose one for your friend). I use to have a friend that worked close by, and we loved doing this. It is such a fun idea! Their coffee, matcha, and chai are all great. My favorite drink has to be a dirty chai, they have a lot of fun flavors if you want to add to it. The chai is spiced well and the espresso is rich and strong. Honestly I would recommend checking out any of their drinks, I don't think you can go wrong.
