From Rodrigo's quick email (in response to my "mover inquiry" on Yelp, which resulted in a dozen different companies soliciting my move), to his follow up call after all was complete, everything was as best as I could hope for. His initial email was followed by a ZOOM meeting including Rodrigo's visual review of the furniture and anticipated number of boxes. With that information, I was given an estimate that seemed reasonable. The ZOOM with Rodrigo was genuine, professional and put me at ease. It was relaxed, detailed and without an ounce of pressure. I was almost certain that I would use Appelzon as I was comfortable with the price. But, I did my due dilligence anyway and followed up with a few other movers. I got some very shady responses. The kind that you can smell from a mile away. There was one local, legit comany that came to the house, but quoted me a price that was much higher. So, I followed my first instinct and committed to Appelzon. All paperwork, proof of licenses, and communication to set date and time for the move were provided quickly, regularly and timely. Now regarding the move itself... a team of hard working, professional movers arrived to carefully pick up and load a truckfull. Rodrigo was the one driving the truck. I believe in supporting independent, local businesses and Appelzon is exactly that. The owner personally driving and supervising, that's impressive. Everything regarding the move was what I consider perfect. This was an interstate move with many variables, traffic, an overnight needed between pickup and delivery, etc. Delivery was just as professioanlly handled.
