Maybe a 4.25 but we can't give partial stars. Brittney was our server. She knew the menu well and helped wis make our selections. The menu is lengthy. There are a lot of items from which to choose and can be overwhelming. Since it's a new to us spot I actually got breakfast items. My litmus tests are biscuits and sausage gravy & the grits no cheese added. Biscuit had good flavor. Is a tall biscuit cut in half so it looks like two flat ones on the plate. The gravy itself tasted fine. The sausage was lacking. You'l see the specks in the picture. If you get this I recommend getting a sausage patty on the said to cut up in it. Bacon? Crispy. 10 outta 10. Grits cooked well. A tiny bowl but if you eat grits it seems like the bowl refills itself. I added butter because I like grits in my butter. And just a couple hits of salt. They were not super bland. I do like to taste the salt or the salted water they should have been cooked in. Bae got French toast. Actually it was a breakfast combo meal. I do get the name. Ralph? Roger? Randy? He likes regular degular French toast. They delivered too! Powdered sugar and cinnamon. Scrambled eggs and sausage. I got a mimosa. They recommended the blueberry pineapple. It was decent but for me an overpriced menu item. I love a good mimosa but I think they're worth $3-$5 Again another litmus test. I won't reorder one there unless it's on special but it won't tell you not to order them.

The waiter was very polite and friendly, he made sure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had about the menu and food choices. The food was delicious! My niece and cousin had the pancake, they were the size of the plate and quite tasty! My other niece had the crab cake sandwich, she said it was good but the fruit was plated on the same plate so it was warm which was not appealing to her so she didn't eat it. I had the French toast platter with the fried chicken. The French toast was pretty good but the bread used was pretty flat but it was tasty and the chicken was overcooked, there was some black spots from being fried too long. The hit at our table was the cheesy grits, very cheesy and flavorful. We'd definitely go back to try other things on the very extensive menu!!

We ordered our food to go, but the atmosphere inside was nice when we stopped in to pick it up. Our previous frustration wasn't necessarily bad food--it was inconsistency. We'd experienced unanswered calls, calls answered without anyone speaking, and trips there only to find nobody there. That had kept us from returning for a while. This time, my son loved his waffle sliders and gave them a 10/10. My shrimp and grits were also a 10/10! They were flavorful and easily the highlight of my meal. My husband enjoyed his three-piece wings and bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit earned an 8/10, although he wished there was more filling to balance the amount of bread. I ordered a strawberry shortcake waffle but received a strawberry waffle with strawberries and strawberry syrup instead. That was disappointing, and I passed it to another family member, who enjoyed it. We landed on a 7.5/10 for that one, factoring in the order mix-up. Overall, this was a much better experience and gave us a reason to return. I hope the consistency continues because those shrimp and grits and waffle sliders were worth another visit!

Very generous portion sizes and phenomenal flavors. The breakfast club standout was the pork sausage. Absolutely excellent and elevated that flavor profile to the highest degree. If you get the chilaquiles, I highly recommend getting both salsas. It offers a great contrast of flavors. I got mine with the birria meat and I was completely satisfied. The blueberry hushpuppies were an amazing surprise. Like deep fried donut holes. The cinnamon butter that goes alongside it was a perfect pairing. Finally, the beignets were melt in your mouth good. Like flaky funnel cakes. I want to give a special shoutout to our server Raegan. She was great in recommending items along with making our drinks to order. Lastly, the ambience of the entire restaurant was cozy and friendly. Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas. There's a bar inside with a TV if you choose to go watch sports and the food here is always on point full of flavor and makes you want to come back and try more things on the menu.
