Some of the locals referred this spot to us and I must say they did not disappoint! When we drove up we were a little skeptical but it was worth a the try. The staff was friendly, we went during a weekday morning so it was empty however it did start to get a little crowded when we were leaving. We ordered the short stack (which was just enough) and the meat lovers omelette. I enjoyed the short stack it had a great taste and the meat lovers omelette was great as well. It had bacon, sausage and ham. It also came with grits and some potatoes. We definitely enjoyed it and can't wait to visit again to go back.

Carolina diner never disappoints. A classic diner with an endless menu. I am always shocked with consistent excellent customer service. The staff takes pride in making you feel welcome. Although not the healthiest option, the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. If you need a go to on a regular basis, give them a try.

This is an old fashioned, greasy spoon diner, not far from the Greensboro airport. It's a little off the beaten track, but worth the adventure. It js one of five in the area sharing the name and the menu. They serve breakfast, and lunch, with some daily specials. We arrived Sunday morning around 11:30am and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. I had to circle the parking lot twice to fond a parking place. Four of us were seated in a booth on the sunny side of the building. It was a hot spot. The manager tried to fix it, but to no avail. Our server showed up in a timely fashion and took drink orders quickly. She returned quickly to take food orders. The place was slammed, and servers were jumping. Manager was delivering food. So, what about the food? I ordered the Pizza Smash Burger and fries. The burger was delicious - a large, smash burger topped with a meaty pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. The bun was soft and fresh. The patty was flavorful and well cooked. While a bit sloppy, this was a good burger. Ended up using a fork. The fries were hot and crispy. Carolyn and Andy ordered biscuits with sausage gravy with cheesy scrambled eggs and grits. They were pleased and enjoyed their breakfast. Gerald ordered the pork chop breakfast. Came with scrambled eggs, a biscuit with gravy, and grits. Grits were good. Average price was around $11 a person, plus beverage. Service was fast. Kept beverages filled. Other than being a touch warm on our side of the dining room, we enjoyed out visit, and recommend Carolina's Diner, 506 South Regional Road, Greensboro, for a hardy breakfast or lunch.

One of my favorite diners in the triad. You may have to wait for a seat but the service is great and the food is consistently delicious. From breakfast to burgers to pork chops, they get it right. Ordered the country breakfast with 50/50 meat and cheesy scrambled eggs. Sausage gravy was just right!

I stopped in after work with my son. Our kind waitress greeted us right away. The menu has a variety of choices and you guessed it, breakfast all day. The choices are all good. I've been eating here for years. The hash browns are so good. The bacon is cooked to crispy perfection. I ordered my hot dog all the way (chili, slaw, mustard, ketchup, onions) with fries. The crinkle fries were just how I like them. My son ate everything. He was so happy with his meal. Our waitress visited our table often. She was so helpful and friendly to all of the tables. The prices are good. It was clean. Love this place. If you are driving down I-40 and need a place to eat. Stop in this hidden treasure.

Great little friendly place to grab something quick and delicious. You're greeted as you come in with a warm welcome and lots of smiles. Your food order comes out fresh and hot. The menu is kid friendly. Plenty of roomy seats

Needed a little sustenance before heading to the Farmers Market yesterday. Carolina's Diner did not disappoint. Great service, great fried pork tenderloin with white gravy, mashed potatoes, fried squash and for my third vegetable choice...banana pudding. Yummy!

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER! We had an amazing time, and my child with a fish allergy could eat there, they had amazing service, and very friendly staff. It was like a better version of Zaxby's (per my child) and she said the waffle was beyond the flavor and quality level of Disney World. The server Brie is fast and courteous. We will be back.

It's a diner, out dated decor in an old building with cooks slinging out home style food for low prices. We ordered two skillets, a sausage skillet and meat skillet and added gravy. They were good, the portions are hearty and the coffee is hot. The restaurant was busy and loud. A kid spilled his drink all over the floor. I saw a dead fly. I think there was a "working gal" walking in front of the Motel 6. I like the Archdale location better. As crazy as this sounds, I am still giving it 4 stars, the skillets were tasty and the waitress was nice.

Carolina's is a great place for breakfast. I arrived at 7:45 AM on a Saturday morning and there were no booths available (only counter service). That's a good sign . I was greeted promptly and asked how many would be in my party. I waited a couple of minutes for a booth to open up. The server was right there and brought my beverage. The menu has a lot of choices but I chose to go with one of my favorites, a western omelette. It came with grits (just about everything does) and I elected to have toast and hash browns. Everything was done perfectly. The food was delivered promptly. My friend had the corned beef hash skillet. They forgot to add the hash and brought it separately. He said the cooks were looking at him to see if he'd be ok with that. He enjoyed his breakfast. This is a great place to go for breakfast. They're open 24 hours and offer non-breakfast items. Based on how breakfast was, other meals are definitely worth trying!

Entrées followed in a reasonable time, no real issue there. Sammy G's has been in High Point for years and offers a wide menu with a little bit of everything. They also bring out little yeast rolls that are pretty good and they were warm when served. We started with the thin cut onion rings. My husband said "less than spectacular," and that sums it up. Some were sliced so thin you mostly tasted breading, and they were a bit greasy. I would skip these. He ordered the fish sandwich with Brussels sprouts (premium side with a small upcharge). The sandwich was okay, nothing special. The Brussels sprouts were good, nicely cooked with solid flavor. I had the Fratellis salad with greens, cranberries, feta, mozzarella, Granny Smith apples, and candied pecans, and added sirloin for an upcharge. They forgot the steak at first, but brought it out shortly after in a separate bowl. Not a big deal. The sirloin was cooked medium as requested, a little red inside and tender enough to cut easily. It had good flavor. I chose the apple cider vinaigrette, which worked well with the salad. I also ordered the chef's selection soup, which was supposed to be lobster bisque. If there was any lobster, it was microscopic. The flavor was slightly bitter and just not good. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. Service handled everything well, including the mistake with the steak and the soup. Atmosphere is casual tavern style, relaxed and easy for a weekday lunch. Must order: Fratellis salad with sirloin and apple cider vinaigrette (yummy), Brussels sprouts Heads up: Skip the thin cut onion rings and don't expect much from the bisque. Other soups, I've had here in the past have been great though.

My mom has been to Melt now 4x and keeps getting this sandwich because it's just that tasty. It's quite big and she usually comes home with half her sandwich. This was my first time and it's the kind of sandwich that'll bring me back again very soon. The fries were very good and Brussels were delicious! We did order the chocolate, peppermint cheesecake to share. It was really a piece of chocolate cheesecake (with a yummy oreo crust), topped with mint and candy canes. She was literally hoppin' it was so busy but did a good job of keeping up. She helped me find items on the menu that fit my dietary restrictions. Nice vibe, laid back, loud. Parking isn't great limited onsite but there's plenty of additional parking across the street. The best menu! There's SOOOO many things I want to try. I mean, a variety of different fries are you kidding me? My friend had the spicy goat burger which she said was good: if you don't like messy don't get it because the sauce is very sticky and she said there needs to be more sauce on the burger. I had a customized salad which was huge and delicious. The salad was too big for the size of plate though. The dressing was a house made roasted shallots and was yummy. Outdoor and indoor seating. Since I was driving back by on my home the next day, had a late lunch. Arrived around 3pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. Given the hour, it was fairly quiet. Weird experience, bar was wide open. I went to the bathroom and when I came back, someone decided to sit in the seat right next to me. Why?! I must comment on the service. The barkeep got me a menu quick and I ordered a water. During my meal, my water sat empty for 5 minutes or so even thought I counted 8 staff members behind the bar. Given the time of day, it was not busy. I ordered onion rings (as a side) and the Bacon Jam burger as it came with the "cordon Bleu" fries. The onion rings stole the show. So good. The fries were not my jam. Low quality cheese sauce with lunch meat ham that was diced. My fault, I should have subbed regular fries as I don't like stuff on my fries. I was expecting it to be a seasoning. My mistake. The burger was good not great. I got the 12 oz size and learned it is 2 fat 6 oz. patties stacked. Makes it VERY tall. The description of this burger is shown in one of my photos. Again, it was good but the flavors just did not pop. Wish I got the French Onion burger. Next time. :-) I do recommend!

This wasn't my first time having the collard sausage dip and I could eat it with my hands it was so delicious freshly made and creamy ! This is hands down the best dip I've ever had and to top it off the fried pita !! My only complaint is there aren't enough pitas to dip ratio but I will order more next time. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)
